im install cm7 on my defy plus and i dont have Contacts because all Contacts in motorola blur user....
how can i retern the motorola motoblur app?

don't know about getting the motoblur contacts app, but if you restore to your original rom and sync the contacts with your google account, they should be good for any rom you may try in the future

You could flash the original image back and synchronize your contacts with gmail. That worked for me

So I successfully rooted my phone last night and this morning I decided to remove some bloatware. Somewhere during my exploration I deleted a file which caused all the text to on my widgets to appear bigger and in red. I did a Nand Restore and a factory reset. I'm still rooted BUT I don't have my Market Place, GMail, I can't sync GMail. I go to "Accounts and Sync" settings and there is no GMail add on...only regular mail. I downloaded through the regular phone browser the Gmail APK and Android Market APK and nothing. I click on the Market....it asks if I wanna sync an account...I say yes and it takes me back to the home screen. Gmail...same thing. Help will be greatly appreciated
EDIT (7-30-11 @ 1:10pm)- I did a Nand restore, apps and all and everything is back to normal....BUT still no Gmail or Android Market

Ahh that is unfortunate but if u can download Gapps separate. The Gapps=google Apps. Just look on most cyanogenmod threads for the link to Gapps. For future reference twrp can backup Gapps too its located in the nandroid menu.

I'm using Temasek's CM13 v4.3 with blu_spark r94.
I had install gapps from opengapps.org and got all but the contacts app connected with my Google account with no issue. Running the app brings me to a Google service login that will not let me login for my account "already exist on [my] device". The Accounts settings page and Google's sync shows no problem occurring and even has the Peoples confirming a sync.
It is as if I have no contacts on my Google account; I do.
A factory reset and updated gapps as well as grabbing Contacts from the app store shows no success. Is anyone else experiencing this strange mess or has an idea what is wrong?
I had this issue too, but after I waited a few hours (with wifi in) the issue was gone. Do you already looked online on the google contacts site? Maybe you really not have any contacts?

This worked for me ... Gapps missing Google Contacts Sync in the package
I found a solution. The problem is that the Open Gapps is missing or not installing the package Google Contacts Sync, which is needed for contacts to sync properly.
Install this apk:- apkmirror com/apk/google-inc/google-contacts-sync/google-contacts-sync-6-0-release/google-contacts-sync-6-0-2280749-android-6-0-android-apk-download/
(Add . after www and apkmirror)
And in Settings > Apps, enable the Contacts permission for Google Contacts Sync. Remove your Google account, reboot, and then re-add and your contacts should sync.

When I try to create account there is no exchange option, don't wanna use Outlook app because it's using proprietary format for data not possible to share with other apps, need it especially for contacts syncing. Is there some version of Exchange services which could I just install and make Exchange account available?
Extract and install the e-mail apk from 7.1 NOS zip (or get it from here). It works on other 8.1 ROMs too

flash mini gapps, have exchange services (for gmail for example)
in the end I just installed gmail and disabled built in email, but thanks for tip with Mini gapps, always installing pico, this is useful

These kind of customized Whatsapps like FMWhatsapp, GBWhatsapp, OGWhatsapp are bad because they dont offer cloud backup and even if you backup manually, restore is not good. One of the updates of GBWhatsapp removed me from all the groups so looking for standalone mod which offers all features of GBWhatsapp and can be an ''add on'' to Official Whatsapp.
