i need a contacts app that doesnt rely on contacts storage system app, and can import vcf file,
is there any ? i tried lots of them but didnt find.

don't know about getting the motoblur contacts app, but if you restore to your original rom and sync the contacts with your google account, they should be good for any rom you may try in the future

You could flash the original image back and synchronize your contacts with gmail. That worked for me
motoblur is great .

I don't want to sync anything with Google or Samsung. I have a galaxy note.
I don't have sync enabled but I see a Samsung account folder in the Android browser favourites. There is nothing inside, but how can I remove this folder?
I already uninstalled the Google and Samsung sync applications with titanium backup but the folder is still there.

I found the solution myself. The same hint how to remove favorites which can't be deleted worked for the folder too.
I deleted the data of the browser. Then all favorites are deleted and when I restart the browser Google tries to connect and place it's folder with favorites. This can be aborted with the back key. Then there shouldn't be a Google folder.

Sorry for the newb question.
I have been trying out various ROMs lately, and I am getting tired of having to install the same apps over and over again and having to type in my credentials etc..
Specifically I use caldav-sync and carddav-sync in order to sync my contacts and calendar with owncloud.
But these apps do not store any settings files on the sdcard.
Is there any way to backup the settings of such apps and simply copy them over after installing a new ROM?

I'm using Temasek's CM13 v4.3 with blu_spark r94.
I had install gapps from opengapps.org and got all but the contacts app connected with my Google account with no issue. Running the app brings me to a Google service login that will not let me login for my account "already exist on [my] device". The Accounts settings page and Google's sync shows no problem occurring and even has the Peoples confirming a sync.
It is as if I have no contacts on my Google account; I do.
A factory reset and updated gapps as well as grabbing Contacts from the app store shows no success. Is anyone else experiencing this strange mess or has an idea what is wrong?
I had this issue too, but after I waited a few hours (with wifi in) the issue was gone. Do you already looked online on the google contacts site? Maybe you really not have any contacts?

Manually extract the apk from nano and put it in it's own folder in priv-apps

This worked for me ... Gapps missing Google Contacts Sync in the package
I found a solution. The problem is that the Open Gapps is missing or not installing the package Google Contacts Sync, which is needed for contacts to sync properly.
Install this apk:- apkmirror com/apk/google-inc/google-contacts-sync/google-contacts-sync-6-0-release/google-contacts-sync-6-0-2280749-android-6-0-android-apk-download/
(Add . after www and apkmirror)
And in Settings > Apps, enable the Contacts permission for Google Contacts Sync. Remove your Google account, reboot, and then re-add and your contacts should sync.

I had some important notes in my S-notes app. unfortunately, I didn't backup those files.
I unisltalled the app and then reinstalled it.
When I'm trying to import files from the application settings it says- "no files found" (tried all the options, from device from google account and so forth).
The "com.samsung.android.app.notes" folder on the SD card is empty.
There is some way to revocer this data? some application you can recommend me for?
