Leaked benchmarks suggest Motorola is working on a Snapdragon S4 phone
http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/17/leaked-benchmarks-suggest-motorola-is-working-on-a-snapdragon-s4/
So I guess it will be same as U.S version of HTC ONE X but without the camera enhancements but with a lighter UI...
So it might perform better than ONE X in every part except camera maybe ...

What are you talking about........I meant to say MOTO will perform better if we compare both phones (stock) without modifying them.

Hi,
As I understand it, there is still no official froyo for the vibrant and all the roms in XDA are based on a leaked version, am I correct?

No. Who cares. That firmware looks like old news. Definitely older than JK2 / JK6 and JL1.
That doesn't make any sense. Froyo, but JJ?

Yeah that makes sense. The way I read it is "anyone else got this (ota)?"
Still though, thought someone would have had their hands on this in the dev forum for the past couple months ^^
ikr?
i just got it today
and im having a hard time just customizing this thing
also, im too scared to flash it to a custom rom since i already have one die on me
i just rooted plus installed root explorer and i found out its using .zip for the bootanimation
im so confused >.>;
over the last couple days my onscreen keyboard has been acting flaky. I cant select so of the letters, e's are r's , s's forget about it. if I rotate the phone it works. do you think the digitizer is bad?
There is a touch screen test app in the play store that you could try, and you could also try a different keyboard and see if there are similar problems.
I hope that halped.
wow, it is screwed.there is about 1/2 inch band top to bottom that you cannot use

yeah no wp8 either *spit* looking at LG optimus. I just dont want to make a horrible mistake like my wife's HTC inspire, i really wanted to upgrade that, too bad my atrix is becoming unusable for texting
Hm, phone recommendations now? This is quite off-topic here, not to mention there are several other threads about this already...
Get a replacement digitizer with the bezel off eB!ay and search YouTube for a guide to replacing it. I've done it twice now and I'm rubbish at fixing things usually!
Wikipedia for our device says yes.
However, on Cyanogenmod, Phone Tester app shows no gyroscope when you click on sensors:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mtorres.phonetester&hl=en
Can anyone on stock rom test? It might just be cyanogenmod.
The only reason I'm curious is because the 4.3 leaked camera is reportedly allowing many non-nexus devices to have a working photosphere. Photosphere won't work if the gyroscope isnt recognized / working. If it is indeed just cyanogenmod, I'm going to petition @mdmower to get the gyroscope working so I can get photosphere working
http://www.androidauthority.com/stock-android-camera-apk-photo-sphere-236196/
No gyroscope showing on my stock. No unlock or s-off.
Thanks.
Damn, Wikipedia lied to me. Some other sites list this device as having a gyroscope as well. Wonder how that misinformation went around.
I got some response. I RUU-ed.

GyroRotate
It kinda worked. It was extremely glitchy. Seemed like it didn't exist. l cannot clarify what this was for sure.
According to the "hardware info" app, the Dinc4G... Doesn't have a gyro! (the same app does show a gyro on my gf's Sensation)
Here 's a snap that list all 5 hw sensors that we have:

He's talking about an ota update from LG
Well who needs that? We have android and the freedom and possibility to have always the newest software on our phones without counting the manufacture in. And it would be a att bloated and locked down software anyway m who wants that. No WiFi tethering and stuff. Rather have the freedom of a non locked down software without a carrier branding.

People like different things. Do you need to get your hair cut the way you do ? No, you do because that's how you prefer it. Plus of course someone would make a optimized version of it if it was released
Yeah I don't mind stock at all but not the let's say att stock because they always block stuff. The let's say lg stock non carrier branded version is fine. Like they have on the international versions. But I mean we don't even have to wait for lg to bring out a KitKat version. We have enough choices we can choose from. That's the beauty of android. We can flash ROMs.

there are people who will sell the phone at a low price, but with the following conditions (as in the photo)
whether they can be fixed / serious problems?
I am a layman in this field, thanks for the answer

I don't see why flashing a new ROM over it wouldn't clean the slate.

Yes. There are lots of ways to do it. I've done it in a Samsung.
I'm sure that flashing a new rom via Flashtool will resolve this issue. But ofc these devices are stolen (or eligible for refund/return), so no warranty and/or possible law-related consequeces. Just buy the phone at full price
Personaly, I can't imagine buying a used phone. All I need to think of is the things I do with my own devices >_>
