He's talking about an ota update from LG
Well who needs that? We have android and the freedom and possibility to have always the newest software on our phones without counting the manufacture in. And it would be a att bloated and locked down software anyway m who wants that. No WiFi tethering and stuff. Rather have the freedom of a non locked down software without a carrier branding.

People like different things. Do you need to get your hair cut the way you do ? No, you do because that's how you prefer it. Plus of course someone would make a optimized version of it if it was released
Yeah I don't mind stock at all but not the let's say att stock because they always block stuff. The let's say lg stock non carrier branded version is fine. Like they have on the international versions. But I mean we don't even have to wait for lg to bring out a KitKat version. We have enough choices we can choose from. That's the beauty of android. We can flash ROMs.

Hi,
As I understand it, there is still no official froyo for the vibrant and all the roms in XDA are based on a leaked version, am I correct?
Perchance.

No. Who cares. That firmware looks like old news. Definitely older than JK2 / JK6 and JL1.
That doesn't make any sense. Froyo, but JJ?

Sure it does, if it was an october build / leak.

Yeah that makes sense. The way I read it is "anyone else got this (ota)?"
Still though, thought someone would have had their hands on this in the dev forum for the past couple months ^^

i just got it today
and im having a hard time just customizing this thing
also, im too scared to flash it to a custom rom since i already have one die on me
i just rooted plus installed root explorer and i found out its using .zip for the bootanimation
im so confused >.>;
Yeah, if everyone is OK with the complications of using a motorola phone, wait till you flip to HTC or Samsung.
Christ, who names this ****.
anyhow, which is the newest? How can you tell? I dropped out of nuclear motorola school physics 303.

Logic would dictate the one on the bottom since it's got an "02" on the end of it.
So far logic hasn't really proved to work with these phones yet... I'm still working on it though. Could be me..
A quick search shows which file is which.
The first one is a fast boot file to get you back to .173.
The one that ends in 02.xml gets you back to .744.
I didnt search for the other file.
.173 is the latest official firmware, so use the first one

Leaked benchmarks suggest Motorola is working on a Snapdragon S4 phone
http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/17/leaked-benchmarks-suggest-motorola-is-working-on-a-snapdragon-s4/
So I guess it will be same as U.S version of HTC ONE X but without the camera enhancements but with a lighter UI...
So it might perform better than ONE X in every part except camera maybe ...

What are you talking about........I meant to say MOTO will perform better if we compare both phones (stock) without modifying them.

no no MOTO!!!
I am not sure if it is a single problem of mine or other Asia user of G Watch experiencing the same? My watch rom is 78N, but I understand the latest one shall be 78Y already.... May I know if it is possible to force update the ROM?
The firmware will roll out in stages - not everyone will get it at the same time. Just wait and you will get. Im in the UK and not received it if that helps.
I'am from Germany and also have no Update so far, so we need to be patient

Yes me too....did watch reset and down came the update.
But.....most apps I had not on the watch now.
I've tried resyncing the apps in the phone Android Wear app but no luck.
Anyone have any suggestions please?
It's been hours and only two of about ten or more apps I had previously are back on watch.
It looks like you have uninstall and then reinstall the parent app....but what you do with all parent settings....they'll be lost and probably all your data too!

Hi,
On my old Samsung Ace Plus phone running an older Android version v2.x, I used to read/save contacts directly to google (shown below in picture) because I simply don't wanna save on phone or sim card. For some reason, I didn't find this option on my LG G2 international version thinking that this feature have been removed for some reason from KK4.4.2 which I'm running so I missed it a lot but there was nothing to do about it since I didn't find it also on e.g. Samsung S4 running KK which kinda confirmed to me that it's a KK thing and not mobile dependent.
Is there any one who have seen this feature back on Android L which I'm waiting for, officially, in early 2015?

it's not persistent! I tried it millions of times before but for some mysterious reason, I have to go through the whole boring process of choosing where to save my contact every time I create a new contact!
Tried this?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fjsoft.mylocalaccount
When you create a contact in AOSP 4.4.x it will state "Phone" (local phone account, unsynced) and "Google" as destinations for saving contacts.
