Hello.. i am running stock..because the phone is 2 week and a half old and i dont wanna loose my warranty..
Two days ago tthe phone freezed.. and i had to pull out the battery to start working again..
And today again.. i played trial x game..and went out..and than when tried to enable data phone.freezed.. and i left it like this..and it startet reebooting by itself..and when i draw sim code..rebooted again..and that happened 5times.. until i pulled battery out and then turn it on..
It also showed htc's message for reporing.
Is some of app cousing this? Or majbe hardware problem? Should i take it back?
Thaanks for the answers.

If you haven't rooted or done anything to the phone, get it replaced. It shouldn't have this many problems.
I'd take it back. I had to replace my first 3D before I rooted for similar issues.
Thaanks.. i will wait few days.. and if it does it again ..than i take it back.. :/

Not trying to brag or anything, but when I see reviews for this phone I see people saying it gives random reboots, locks up, crashes, overheating, and that It's just so problematic..however I never witnessed any of that, my phone never froze once on me and never had any problems like that. I've had this phone for about a month and a couple weeks and no issues
Yeah. Not every phone is built the same. I've had mine since day one. Still runs like a champ.
Don't know what all the fuss is about it's an excellent phone in fact I couldn't be happier

Hmm Unless you don't follow proper procedures with flashing roms and kernels there shouldn't by any instability.
Also make sure u follow the devs suggestions for specific kernels and mods

Been using this since it launched in the UK. No problems whatsoever. My phones running default, had nothing done to it and It's smooth as butter.
The happy users won't complain or sing praises on forums much as we are satisfied with our product, while those that aren't happy will make themselves heard everywhere.
The only issue I have had is w/the touch screen freezing during calls --- although since I went on a flashoholic binge over the past week jumping between Sense based ROMs, CM7, CM9, and MIUI it seems to have fixed itself. I haven't had any issues all week.
All in all, I love it! Couldn't be happier!
I only really have four problems with this phone.
1 - The battery cover doesn't go on tightly in the top left corner.
2 - There is some dust under the screen.
3 - the phone gets quite hot under use occasionally.
4 - Having a PG86100.zip on the SD card makes it so that you can't boot to recovery through bootloader. Sure, it's easy to just remove it, but sometimes I forget to delete it and experiment too much. When I need to get into recovery in those cases, I can't because of the zip file. On my OG Evo if I didn't want to install the file, I could just say no and then tell the phone not to reboot. With this phone, if I say no, I HAVE to reboot.

Great phone, like it alot, also got an Sensation XE but I prefer my Evo 3D, don't know why, it's magic for me.
It gets very warm next to the camera(s) when I play graphics intensive games and the default music player is cruel, but I got PowerAmp and all in all I'm verry satisfied. Seriously, now the 3D-features aren't used for many times...but it's great to amaze people!
Here in Germany it's just 269€, means ca. 350$, cheap for the given value.
Yep, I never have any stability issues either, stock or rooted. This thing is a very stable beast!
I bought this phone on the release day for my dad's birthday. He had so many problems he had to get a replacement. I swear one day he was doing something on it and out of nowhere he had a reboot. He said it would happen all the time. I took possession of this phone about six weeks ago and have had not one problem at all. Maybe it didn't like him. But overall, this phone is awesome. Wouldn't give it up for anything in the world.

I do that usually, but when you can't boot the phone because of a ROM issue you can't exactly choose that option...

Dear users,
Because i cannot post in the KingCobra develpment thread, i will post this here.
I am having a strange problem . All of a sudden, the HTC evo 3d player does not play the video in 3d effect. Although i tab the 3D mode, its still in 2D. That includes videos from sick-flix but also videos from the phone's camera. I tried other players (bsplayer, Mxplayer), either they play the videos in 2D mode or two screens the same time
I use kingCobra 2.4.
Try reflashing the rom. Or restore a nand and see if the issue remains.

What is a nand restore?
When you flash a custom recovery it allows you make a backup of your system. Those are called nandroids.

Hi to all!
I've got a touchscreen issue with my EVO 3D GSM. My multitouch is acting funny. When I touch the screen with two or more fingers, it stops working. It's hard to explain, but it's really annoying. I've changed twi ROMs, but the problem persists. Is there any way I can fix this?

Have you tried calibrating your touch screen via display settings to see if it will help any ??? Or you could try this

To see if will help any as well.

Thanks for your answer. I found that WidgetLocker was causing the problem, so I removed it and my problem was gone! Thanks anyway!

Anyone tried this? You can boot multiple ROMs.
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using xda premium
Tried it a few Month ago. Didnt worked for me. Destroyed my normal rom boot, so i had to restore every time.
old news...
been using it for several months and works great!
As long as you setup your phone rom when you first launch the app you will be good to go.... it backs up the boot img into an update.zip so you can always flash that to get back to your actual rom
Yeah can see its a bit old. Just wanted to know if anyone had any problems or anything good to say about it before I give it a go

My phone recently updated, and I lost my Handcent icon from the lockscreen. I also no longer have the gray curved launcher that says phone on main screen. Also wnat to know how to change the icons on that bar as well......Not real happy about the update......
Ok, how old are you? Just a simple question and no offence meant. First, can assume that you are running a sense rom, maybe 3.6? Do you see the home page, the main screen. At the bottom do you see the dock with 5 icons. Hold down an icon and you will see that you are now able to delete it. Now hold down any app, and you are able to move that app to the dock. Now what ever icon is on the dock is now placed on the lock screen
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using xda premium
To answer your first question, I am 50yo. I am running the stock with the latest update to 2.89.651.2 710RD. I was able to delete 1 of the icons from the dock and tried dragging handcent icon from main screen to dock but it won't move to the dock.
I also noticed that my phone is getting very hot and the battery is draining very quickly...WTF is going on?????
I would reflash or try a new rom
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using xda premium
I do not have the phone rooted, it is using the stock ROM....everything worked perfectly until this update......
Try a factory reset, but you will loose all your email accounts etc.
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using xda premium
Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Guess I shouldn't have let it update......$%^#%#%
I appreciate your help!
Now my phone is dead, when I started this thread I had 70% battery, this is not cool......
Do a hard factory reset, go to power and turn off fast boot, turn your phone off and hold the volume down button and then the power button down at the sametime, you should see a bright white screen and navigate to factory reset
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using xda premium
I will have to try that after I get the battery charged back up as it is totally dead right now. I have never had a battery go from 70% to nothing in only a few hours while doing nothing.....
It happens, if your lock you don't have much of a choice but to do a factory reset, normal if you flash a rom you need to do a full battery cycle before you see an improvement in battery life, also if you disenable auto brightness, also check syncing apps
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using xda premium
I have had this phone for over 6 months and had awesome battery life and 0 problems until this update......
Unfortunately you have 2 choices. 1 factory reset works or 2 unlock, root and flash
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using xda premium
Your right! I'm not happy with either choice, but I will do factory reset after I get home and get the battery charged some.......
Hope everything works out
