Hello guys!
I was seached a lot in the forum, but I can't find the original bootanimation for the Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 (International).
Actually I'm running Eryigit rls3.5, and I don't like the green android logo.
Can somebody help me of this?
Thanks in advance!
David
I believe this is the files you need.

Thank you!
For sure, I replaced both files in the system/media folder, but it seems nothing changed. The green droid stays...
Any idea?
Edit: So I replaced the files what you gave to me and deleted the bootanimation.zip, and voila the stock boot animation came back!
Thanks for your help!
Cheers!

Petitdroid resized
Hi there, the petitdroid animation is stretched because the size in "desc.txt" is set to 480x800, it should be 320x480. I had troubles to install ist as a ROM, so I just included the file "bootanimation.zip" which contains the animation itself. It has to be placed into /data/local, root needed.
View attachment bootanimation.zip
Of course I am referring to the thread you just mentioned. However, I can't post to dev forums yet. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=705279
I designed a custom boot animation, but I need some help to get it up and running.

Thanks a lot! It works really well on my Cyanogen Defy.
How can use this or something like this? Like theme.zip

Replace the bootanimation.zip via Root Explorer in system\media with the one you like.
Sorry for my bad english.
Julian
Danke Julian!
But please note this is the T-Mobile branded boot animation, but the desc.txt only uses the part0 folder. In theory I think you could simply delete the part1 and part2 folders from the zip.
This Animation is from my Defy which is not brandet. In part 0 is the stock motorola boot animation, but the images in part 1&2 are called tmopu... . And in the images is the t-mobile "stick together" logo but in this boot animation is part 1&2 not in use.
Sorry for my bad english.

Thanks buddy

Motorola Bootanimation Froyo 2.2 (red logo)
Hi,
here is the bootanimation with the red motorola logo, without blur.
(just to have it complete )
on CM7 you can also copy it into \data\local\
So the one in system\media can stay untouched.
thanks ! I like it
Thanx,....looks good
thank you
This Bootanimation work on Razr XT910? Thanks

Hi members,
I know that there are ways to change the boot-animation, but I after I saw the complete Google Nexus boot up I liked It pretty much.
I already got the Nexus animation boot-up but I also want to replace the "Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-i9100" logo for the Nexus "Google" logo.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance.
Just swap the boot logo png, it's in the same folder as the boot animation (system/media I THINK)

I don't quite understand you jje, theme section on XDA or do I need to find a theme section on my phone?
First one
bootanimation.zip
Of course youre phone needs to be rooted.
Then you take youre bootanimation, often "Bootanimation.zip"
Use for example "Root Explorer" app, that have superuser rights to
youre phone system. "R.E" is like "Windows Explorer" for rooted phones
When you use "R.E" to be able to copy and paste systemfiles, you need to
"Mount RW", Read-Write.
Copy the Bootanimation.zip, and paste it in youre phones filesystem,
/data/local/bootanimation.zip
A good indication youre in right folder, is that some "temp" file is also there.
Reboot phone, and voila!
Good luck man
PS!
A very good post is here

I will keep this post updated and tell you guys if it worked or not.
from my experience you have to use a non stock kernel as stock kernels dont allow you to change the boot animation .. I may be wrong?
I am already using a costum kernel as you need to have a rooted device to actually change the boot-logo.
Btw, it works like a charm.
Thanks for the help you guys.

The Android boot animation is usually stored in system/media as bootanimation.zip
EDIT:
Duh, forgot to say... Just delete the bootanimation.zip using a root file manager

Do you also know a method to revert the mod so you can go back to stock bootanimation? The enabler/disabler I found are all for 4.22 JB and don't work for 4.42 Kitkat anymore.

Well thanks for that, but in case the rom creator backed up the original files it's even more simple to do the job as I just posted here:
