I get download mode in my ace , and i connect with odin 4.42 and 4.38 and dont appear as COM(nothiing),
i tried connect others series is can connect Com Sucessufully , but 5830M series M cannot get connect please
how can i flash this ace T.T? i tried use odin 1.83 or 1.85 this can get connect but dotn have pit of 5830 T.T ,

I was updated SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1_3_2300_0.exe, no funtion T.T only odin 1.8 but this cannot put file ops

I downloaded:
S5570_Odin Multi Downloader v4.38
recovery_gamma_froyo
Cooper_v1.0.ops
When trying to use odin on
OPS I choose Cooper
On PDA I choose recovery gamma froyo and got the following 2 mistakes:
Invaild Image Type
Invaild Model Binary
I pressed start, it did not successfully install the ClockWorkMod because when I go to recovery mode its same as before.
Please help me!

!DELETE ROM MANAGER IT WILL KILL YOUR PHONE
use the cwm in the link you have
and NEVER use rom manager anymore

are you on android 2.3.x
if so you need only the clockworkace.zip
go to recovery
update via zip
choose clockworkace.zip
pres it
done rboot hold home again
and you have clockworkmod

You can upgrade your stock rom to 2.3.* via ODIN, then flash a custom rom

no dont install cwm if you are on v2.2 because none roms will work
you need to go to odin and flash gingerbread
there in the stickies a list on how to do it
with odin because with kies you will get an error when rooted

Herpderp DXKPB.
- download GingerBread Stock ROM then flash it with Odin
- root it then download CWM Recovery or Install it from market and download this one too recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.6-galaxyace-fix.zip
- after installing CWM Recovery apk or from market, open it and go to recovery
- choose install update from zip then choose the zip file recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.6-galaxyace-fix.zip

Why not use the samsung kies in upgrading ur froyo to gingerbread... I use the kies in updating my firmware..its totally safe ..

hi first i ve a rooted 5830i somedays ago its locked and its not entering recovery mode its freezed at samsung galaxy logo and i haven t got a computer i rooted it by phone what can i do my rom is razo droid 2.5 kernel rafael baugis help i can t send it to service because its rooted problem is not entering recovery mode and not opening phone and i installed 2 roms but i didn t reboot it probably i think the problem is that hopefully

Go to a friend, ask him if you can use his computer, enter download mode (volume up+down + power button), download firmware from samfirmware and odin v3 and flash the package (put it in the pda section).

If you are rooted download any jb rom available for ur phone thru Sam mobile... And flash it thru mobile odin... If you are not rooted you can still use pc version of odin

Use ROM MANAGER available free on the play store that will help you a lot.

you should just delete /system/etc/install-recovery.sh and you are done
There is a new firmware rolled by Samsung.. Is it OK to flash a firmware of a different country ??
