I've tried to flash 3 zip files via xRec , it fails every time :-(
It says that there's something error or don't know what f**k it is
Then it says that the installtion of the zip file is aborted
So what can I do??
I trust that you can find me some solutions

And I'm sure that I haven't flashed unflashable zip , because I tried to flash the Xperia S music player zip downloaded from xda developpers
I had this before when I started out flashing roms, check to see if the zip file is flashed via xrec or cwm5 (if that's how its is or cmw5)

The zip files uploaders says " flash with xRecovery " so I do & I fail
Is your super user and su binary up do date. I put mine up to date and it solved the issue of it being able to flash for some roms

Are you download that file? Make sure your check md5sum
my superuser is up to date , but what is SU binary??
I found it , SU &it's binary is up to date , and the prob still appears :-(

Maybe the zip you're trying to flash is a edify script? Try flash using CWM.
I remembered something , my version of BusyBox is not the latest , can it be a cause ??
I couldn't install the latest BusyBox version , it's really ****ing issue :-(

Mr. 9andar , I have already installed xRecovery , no problem with recovery mode , my problem is FLASHING ZIPs :-(
1: Download Rom of choice to pc/lappy 2:copy it to an easily found place on your sd card 3: boot into x recovery (mash back button upon boot) 4: goto install custom zip, select zip from sd card, and find the zip where u placed it on sd and select install. Thats it (u prob need to do factory reset before installing the zip)

Yes, downloand aais for xrecovery from xda, run script via teminal emulator (very simple) then install cwm via xrecovery

how do I install cwm via xrec?
Easy, search for the file on this forum (cwmr3 for xrecovery.zip) and install the zip file after rebooting into xrecovery. Have you got xrecovery working now?

the thing is that I got the rom froyobread.v023c installed. And none of xrec or cwm works in that version works, so i dont know what to do..
and i cant get the phone into flash mode(dont know if its my microusb contact that is the problem), so I dont know what to do!
Should i try copy those 3 files in the xrecovery post to system/bin or what? Which files are the dualrecovery files?

I must admit am i not an expert, but why don't you just go back to default Rom via SEUS and then follow the steps to install xrecovery via AAIS+CWM? I am certain this will work.
Use mini rom manager no need to be in xrec to install just dl and find it (cwm) install

Yes of course i would have done that if I could get into flash mode.. and I will test if that works on a friends computer tomorow ( my computer is crap! )
But I just think, what if that doesn't work.. what to do then? Do it work to change the files in system/lib so i can come in to xrec, and then flash another rom?

Hi, I'm really new to this Android thing and a friend bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace. He's worst than me and doesn't know what a ROM is..
Well, I want to install THIS CyanogenMod but it says the phone needs to be in 2.3.* and my friend's is in 2.2.1.
I searched how to update to 2.3.* and I thought updating to 2.3.3 by flashing THIS VillainROM will work.. and after this ROM, put ClockWorkMod (required by the CM) and flash the CM..
I want to know if this will work or if I'll brick my friend's phone (I prefer bricking my phone rather than my friend's). Hope to hear some reponse soon, thanks!

I'm Not familuar with your Galaxy phone but as it is samsung you should be able to you odin or swupdate to flash any SUPPORTED rom. Also first thing I have done with any phone regardless of manufacture is obtain root then flash recover and lastly flash the rom of your choice.
Not much help but hope it gives some direction
MOST IMPORTANT read extensivly about anything you are considering flashing BEFORE you do it. $500 dollar paper weights are over rated

I was very happy and thought: "Great! I have 2.3.4 so now I can put the CWM and install the CyanogenMod "
I copied the CWM to the SD and installed it through recovery. When I tried to enter the CWM App it said I needed Superuser acess and the app closes..
I tried using SuperOneClick v2.1.1 and also opening in recovery mode and selecting "install .zip from SD" with a .zip supposed to root 2.3.4 but none of them worked..
What should I do? HELP!

The CWM 4.0.0.9 download was attached to the bottom of the first posy .
SuperOneClick is for Froyo .
Go to recovery and install zip from SD and choose the CWM 4.0.0.9 file .

You don't need root. Flash the clockworkmod recovery and you're all set for the final rom flashing.

Personally you're better off with Clovkworkmod 5.0.2.6 , just flash whatever custom ROM you wanna flash

This is not working, I ran сalibrate.but, rewriting touch_smiltron_sony on touch_coconut_tpk.Hybrom_v10 does not work.
I do not want to pass to the service center, because I know that there are men of genius, and I hope that soon my problem will be solved.

Check that topic, try the solutions posted there.
I sent mine to service already, ROM testing killed the touchscreen.
Problem solved!
1)Install lastest firmware .62 for wt19i - use Flashtool
2) Install Rage Kernel 2.6 - use Flashtool
3) Then via CM from zip install hybrom_v12. for mini pro
3) Install "Touchscreen.zip" via CWM and reboot system
(Touch screens has to work)
4) Then again flash hybroman_v12 for wt19i

I dug the hybrom zip and found the exact same hex files on it. Was thinking whether the just the script would work on it's own without flashing the minipro hybrom since they're doing essentially the same thing..

I made myself.
At first I wanted to copy a SYS from another phone, but wondered, and concluded that the MINI PRO ROM has changed about the path to the touch screen files in the SYS . Renaming touch_coconut_tpk.hex in touch_mango_....hex, and replaced by one file in the folder firmware.
Do you guys have a link for the Mini Pro ROM? I'm desperate now.. =(
I still have a HYBROMAN v16 do you think that would work?
EDIT: I was able to download HYBROM_V12 but CWM keeps saying that the file is bad. Downloaded and re downloaded at least 10x now.. Any ideas?
UPDATE: For those who are having problems with their touchscreen, this method works! (finally found a working version of hybrom_v12)

Lemme see if I understand this right. Basically, what it does is overwrite the hex file and starts the touchscreen script? In which case it continues from the hybrom flash and replaces the hex from the minipro with the lww one?

Solution
Follow these steps.
1) First you need to download and copy these two ROM zip files to your SD Card. The download links are given below.
a) (Note: Add (https) then //) before you enter the address which is given below in the address bar for downloading the file.)

2) Switch Off your phone and flash the latest GB Stock Firmware (GB !4.0.2.A.0.62) by using Flash Tool.
You will get this Stock Firmware from here. If you have already downloaded the file, skip this download.

3) Switch on by connecting usb cable to your computer by press and hold the volume up button on your mobile for Fastboot mode . Download and extract the kernel file which i attached with this post
(kernel_coconut-v4.zip) and flash it via Fastboot Mode in Flash Tool.
4) Switch on your mobile and press the volume down button to enter the CWM Menu and do these things.
a) wipe data/factory reset
b) wipe cache partiton
c) wipe Dalvik Cache
5) After that Do 'Install zip from sdcard' and select hybrom_v10.zip file from your sdcard which you downloaded and copied to your SDCard
earlier.
6) When the installation complete, restart your phone. You will see that your touch is partially working !! Don't waste your time by checking
Touchscreen. Switch off your mobile by remove the battery and put it again.
7) Switch on your mobile and boot into CWM Mode again. Don't do these things(wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partiton and wipe Dalvik
Cache) again for installing new zip from SDCard. (I'll tell the reason later )
Do 'Install zip from sdcard' and select hybroman_v12.zip file from your sdcard which you downloaded and copied to your SDCard
earlier.
8) After the Installation restart your phone and wait for booting into new ROM hybrom v12. Now you can see that your Touchscreen Issue is
solved !!!! :laugh:
Optional:
If you are facing wifi problem just flash the zip file via CWM (coconut_wlan_v4.zip) which is atteched with this post.
If you are not satisfied with hyvrom v12, you can also flash again the Stock Firmware or any other ROM which only supported by LWW

So sad, i did but my lww still dont work, only power+walkman+home+volume buttons work.

Things we need:
Flash tools
Rage kernel gb
Stock .62 firmware for your device(ftf)
wrong rom that bricked your touchscreen
What should we do:
1:flash your device gb .62 firmware
2:flash rage kernel
3:flash that wrong rom again
4:if wrong rom was ics,rom will not boot then remove the battery to turn phone off then flash .62 firmware again if it was gb,do the same work
5:wait until stock rom boots the touch will be fixed
6:if touch screen fixed,press thanks button

Can i use this touchscreen.zip for my st15i with the same prob???
hey friends, need help..
i'm relatively new to android, and i had rooted neo v running on ICS. i wanted to install custom rom for JB, so i installed clockwork mod recovery, backed up current os wiped all cache and selected zip file from sd card.... it took some time and then said installation failed,,..i tried again, and again said failed.... so i just restarted my phone.... from then onwards it's stuck on sony logo.. when i connect to charger or pc, green light lits up for a while and then phone automatically boots up and gets stuck at sony logo.....
i tried to enter into clockwork recovery mode but it wouldn't..
help me !!!!!!!!!!!!! now i just want want my old phone back with ICS..
i'm new so please explain in simplified terms.,,,,

I had the same problen and fixed it. So first you will need a stock firmware of ICS (find it on google can't provide link because I am using phone...sorry) then you will need latest Flashtool version (download it on google too).
Once you have everything downloaded follow the steps.
1)Instal Flashtool (it's easy)
2)Then open it and navigate folder with name Firmwares.
3)Put in this folder the .ftf file you downloaded (I mean the stock Firmware) Plug the phone in and wait while Flashtool will recognize your phone. IF not instal ADB drivers
4)Then open Flashtool and hit the button with the lightning
5)Choose flashmode
6)Then choose the firmware you puted in the folder.
7)Follow the on-screen instructions and you have your phone back

my phone stucked on sony logo and keep restarting all over again .
i've unlocked the bootloader , trying to flash an ics kernel using flashtool . then it became this . i have no cwm or any recovery . help me please

u can just reflash your kernel and restore your backup from recovery. if u used x-parts or any app to install recovery it installs it to system partition. when u install a new rom it wipes your system partition.
if u haven't unlocked bootloader u have to flash stock firmware via flashtool. then install a recovery mode and restore your backup.

u maybe using an incompatible kernel. try reflashing it via flashtool. if it doesn't works use fastboot commands from command prompt or a terminal.

Double check the stock ROM file you are using with flashtool is not corrupt, also I believe your problem is related to the fact that the Xperia M is not supported by flashtool, the full list of devices flashtool supports can be found here. That being said I would recommend trying to flash the stock ROM you made from the ftf in CWMR to try and take you back to the stock setup. Double check the stock ROM file you are using with flashtool is not corrupt, also I believe your problem is related to the fact that the Xperia M is not supported by flashtool, the full list of devices flashtool supports can be found here. That being said I would recommend trying to flash the stock ROM you made from the ftf in CWMR to try and take you back to the stock setup.
