Hi guys and girls
Have I bricked my device?
Device: Galaxy S WIFI 5.0 International
I was about to flash a rom through odin so I entered download mode with no problems. Rom wont flash so i rebooted the device and got the following image. What does it mean? Also Odin recognises the device but will not allow me to flash.

You soft-bricked your device. These icons is the forced download mode. It means that you need to flash something to get over it. (and do NEVER put something in the phone section. You should have flash it in the PDA section.
i had the same screen yesterday.just flash the kernel and reboot.it should boot right into CWM.in CWM choose "reboot device" and it should be OK

Thanks guys fixed it used one click unbrick which worked really well. Tried flashing a rom and a kernel and it did not work before hand. With the one click unbrick it has allowed me to enter download mode again.
One-Click unbrick info: http://www.traemcneely.com/2011/08/...phone-exclamation-point-computer-unbrick-fix/
I'm happy that you could fix it

Same case..
download stock rom from samfirmware
make sure that you download the right model for your phone
boot into download mode...plug your phone
flash stock rom via Odin
I can't enter to download mode. I phone end up in yellow triangle between phone and computer screen. "Firmware upgrade encountered and issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again." And yes i tried to flash stock rom, also failed.
you confirm that you can't enter to download mode or recovery mode? are you sure? What happend when you plug the phone (when it power off of course) to the charger?

Hi! First i'm sorry for my bad english
I must repair a s5830i, but i don't find a way.
it's go in boot loop when i turn on it, logo-->boot animation-->logo-->at infinite.
Hence i will flash a new stock rom, but when i link the smarthphone at pc(w7) odin ( v3.07 or v1.84) don't
detects the phone.
I have install the samsung driver and i also tried kies but but without results, odin don't detects the phone.
(an other phone like s6 is normally detects).
Therefore how can I do to make it recognize?
( if my english is very bad and you don't understand it, please tell me)

Hello,
I was running on a stock non-rooted ROM, when the phone did not suddenly did not boot any more. Instead I am getting a "White Screen with some black lines" not even the Samsung Logo screen. I tried to acess the recovery mode, but this seems not possible. I can only access the download mode.
When I tried to flash a new stock firmware through odin, I got the error message: "There is no PIT Partition". Same happen when I tried to flash the firmware with three/four-parts.
I look through multiple threads and tried to apply the methods given in
1) http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/solved-pit-bricked-dead-problem-gt-t2535367
2) http://www.android-hilfe.de/thema/i9300-stock-rom-26-11-13-i9300xxugmk6-4-3-dbt-pre-rooted-3-teilig.517665/
but non work so far, and I am always gettein either "Re-Partition operation failed", or sometime ODIN just stuck on "SetupConnection" and never go further.
Since this is a 2+ years old device, Service Center is not an option for me.
Can anyone suggest me a method to solve this error. Maybe provide me with new "PIT Partition" file, etc...
Thanks in advance.
same error with my International i9300 16gig, i have access to the download mod only
any solution plz?
i cant flash stock rom, even when i try to flash a PIT file, odin will stay in this line "get PIT for mapping.."
and this is when i power it on:

If u have any official cm rom for ur device then flash it via Odin.
And if it doesn't work, try out loading the CSC and BL file with the PDA file. This might work.

mine did the exact same thing with that goofy lower half of the screen. It went away after a reboot and I stopped using the phone. Going to upgrade to 5.1.1 on the chance it's a software problem if it happens again.
I took it in guarantee service they said motherboard is dead need replace
The same here ...
This confirmed that the main board is damaged ??
I flashing an official rom and done correctly, but the restart stay in bootloop ...

i have the same problem... stuck in bootlop, and before that i used to have a shied blob based rom... what should i do now?
thank you.
EDIT:fastboot ROMs? Never know that it existed for mi pad.
1. Download Mi PC suite and connect it in fastboot mode.
If everything go normal then it will automatically detect the respective ROM.
Check the screenshot below.

2. Just click on Flash device.
Now if all the things are normal it will reboot normally.
