Could someone please post a Nandroid of the CDMA ICS leak? - Motorola Droid RAZR

As above. Would like to have a tinker to see if it'll boot with the GSM ICS leak kernel and some lib swaps/build.prop edits. Not expecting any joy, but worth a shot, right?
TIA.

No, you couldn't because CWM can't flash the radio, bootloader, or kernel updates that the leak runs on.

Damn, can't even get it to flash, CWM spits the dummy on the MD5. Tried using the same boostrap that's included in the data tar, tried recreating the MD5s, tried putting the files in all sorts of folder names, no joy. Kinda wish CWM still used .IMG so I could try fastbooting them, heh.

[Q] Bootstrap and Electrify?

I've seen a few people with the Electrify (US Cellular version of Photon 4G) say they have "bootstrap" as an alternative to an unlocked bootloader (which we absolutely cannot get at this point). I've seen the bootstrap topic for Photon, but I asked a week or two ago if it worked for Electrify, and nobody knew if it did. So I thought I'd toss out a more general request. So, does anybody know how to get bootstrap on the Electrify?

You cannot install ANY AOSP ROMs (CM7, CM9, MIUI, Paranoid, etc) on a locked phone. The results will be very nasty. You are limited to LOCKED ROMs like Rocko and Uninversal.

yes. I have locked bootloader and I think rocko rom is the best we can get. I think IM about to jump back to it until I can get droid razr

And why doesn't anyone with Electrify try to pull updater-binary from rocko zip and push in my zip, delete the lines for flashing kernel from updater-script in my zip and delete boot.img from my zip and try to flash with bootstrap? Maybe this won't work, but I don't see, why not. And if you know, how to sbf to stock, then there's nothing to loose and you'll have more options for available ROMs. ;-)

You have to download it to computer. Try some different computer with different internet connection. You have to use RSD lite, there's no workaround.

If you had safe strap or boot strap installed before your gonna have to fast boot and try again it works I just did this two days ago. I started over fast booted 181 again then followed directions exactly and it worked. Its not a bad idea to fast boot anyway first that way you know your setup to revert back for upcoming ota.
I had a similar issue, trying to update from GB .181 to ICS 79 leaked rom.
Had to reflash .181 all over again because I had previously uninstalled some VZW crap software from phone (and when trying to flash ICS i got the exclamation point after a while)
Afterwards, root, rom manager, es file explore - permisions, and all went ok
Tried it again. This time was a success! Thanks for all the help!

Not on stock from the DND (diddle-n-drool); you have to install a leak-based ROM like Axiom or Black Widow, which include GUI tools for changing the setting.
Mine is set to "LTE/CDMA/GSM auto prl".
So...Yes, it does.
Global phone, FTW.
Haven't tested it, but it's set to that.

Need to use the boot strap recovery, MOTODX_Bootstrap_Signed.apk. Its based off Clockwork. Make sure you only try to flash locked roms though. If you try and flash anything not supported your more than likely going to be on my boat... Softbricked. I was a flashaholic with my Evo, now im a bricked bum looking for light...

I'm in the same boat. I just got a used Photon and it already had the 2.3.5 (45.4.13 254_13) ROM on it. I got it rooted successfully at least, but get the error when trying to install the DERPUNLOCK.SFB file.
Any solutions out there yet? Can the unit be SBF-ed back to 198_7 and then the bootloader unlocked?
(I'm sorry if this is a redundant question, but I haven't found a clear answer and have searched the forums extensively!)
THANKS!

Your only real option is mof2.3.5 unless you want to run a rom that is not supported anymore ie imperium, rocko, skinny. Mofs rom is damn good though. Give it a shot and see what you think.
If your on 2.3.4 go with mofo2.3.5ish if your on 2.3.5, don't flash any roms locked or unlocked. Just be happy your phone works!
The reason being is because will the roms are based on 2.3.4 and since 2.3.5 locked bootloader, anything 2.3.4 based will cause you to soft brick, with no sprint sbf to fall back on. Peetr and mo are actively working on a working sbf for those who are on USC electrify sbf.

Signed boot.img with its modules is needed to install after each locked rom.
Don't want to sound like a n00b, but where would those be in the ROM threads? I'm so used to HTC's phones, so going to this Photon makes me feel like I'm starting from scratch...

1st if you haven't tried it yet go to recovery and do a wipe and reset.
If that don't work...
Find the Electrify 2.3.5 USC_19 sbf file you can install to get back up and running. But its not sprint. You have to install a couple of other files to get the sprint radio and wi-fi to work. It's all here, google is your friend.
Good Luck.
The 1st reply you got has the info to get you back to sprint.
