Main differences I saw: New lte radio, new kernel (newer than 214), and it adds Chrome.

Notice improvements in lte signal?
This is a leak, I presume? If so - can't install without root access, correct?

No root required. Put it on Sd card and install from stock recovery.

Only for US..? I am on EU build, XT910 GSM version...

Where to DL .215

Yes stock recovery, must get rid of any custom recovery you have. Wipe is not required though recommended as its solved some bugs for some people. Yes install update from SD card

Cache is fine. Updates just like ota.
SHVR MAXX

I had a crap load of freezes and hangups until I wiped data/cache. Works awesome now though.

New 4g radio is sucking for me. I literally cannot get a 4g signal in an area where I would get 4-5 bars
Edit: wiped cache and dalvik. Let there be 4g!

[Q] Stock Verizon ROM

Sincerest apologies if this has already been discussed, but does anyone have the Stock ROM for the RAZR on Verizon?
SBF hasn't been released yet, therefore I believe the only way to get to stock is restoring a Nan backup of a stock 'ROM'
It has now.

How do I change rom after root?

I've rooted my phone, and looked for a guide on how to change rom and I didnt find one.
Can anyone link me a guide on how to change rom on RAZR?
Thanks in advance.
You need to install bootstrap recovery and then install CWM on boot package. After you've done that you can download a custom rom and install it via recovery. I wrote an article about this on my blog, here is the link
http://aashrey99razr.wordpress.com/roms/how-to-flash/
You can also use safe strap.

[Q] Bootstrap and Electrify?

I've seen a few people with the Electrify (US Cellular version of Photon 4G) say they have "bootstrap" as an alternative to an unlocked bootloader (which we absolutely cannot get at this point). I've seen the bootstrap topic for Photon, but I asked a week or two ago if it worked for Electrify, and nobody knew if it did. So I thought I'd toss out a more general request. So, does anybody know how to get bootstrap on the Electrify?

*ALSO* best ROM to flash with bootstrap is rockorom.

You cannot install ANY AOSP ROMs (CM7, CM9, MIUI, Paranoid, etc) on a locked phone. The results will be very nasty. You are limited to LOCKED ROMs like Rocko and Uninversal.

And why doesn't anyone with Electrify try to pull updater-binary from rocko zip and push in my zip, delete the lines for flashing kernel from updater-script in my zip and delete boot.img from my zip and try to flash with bootstrap? Maybe this won't work, but I don't see, why not. And if you know, how to sbf to stock, then there's nothing to loose and you'll have more options for available ROMs. ;-)

You have to download it to computer. Try some different computer with different internet connection. You have to use RSD lite, there's no workaround.

Needs to be plugged in the wall when going into recovery mode. Unless its wall plugged, it will not work correctly. PC charging won't work, no charge won't work. Probably the reason it woNT work.

As above. Would like to have a tinker to see if it'll boot with the GSM ICS leak kernel and some lib swaps/build.prop edits. Not expecting any joy, but worth a shot, right?
TIA.

No, you couldn't because CWM can't flash the radio, bootloader, or kernel updates that the leak runs on.

Damn, can't even get it to flash, CWM spits the dummy on the MD5. Tried using the same boostrap that's included in the data tar, tried recreating the MD5s, tried putting the files in all sorts of folder names, no joy. Kinda wish CWM still used .IMG so I could try fastbooting them, heh.

any news on the new kexec, kholk? What happen with second CPU?
Also how do you boot to Moto's recovery? Is it like CWM? Can anyone check if Swedish is availabe as language?
Also, please in the future, upload the stuff on XDA and do not redirect to other sites, it's annoying when we need to fix new accounts somewhere else. So someone please put up a mirror.
So all I have to do is download boot to recovery and flash that's it and i'm on ice cream sandwich boom?

i see you're from USA so you might have a CDMA verizon razr, so it's really more complicated than that, you rather wait for official release (end of june maxx so 15days) or flash cdma leak, you have a lot.

probably, but you'll have to do some trick, because the final will be an OTA, and to flash this OTA you'll have to be on gingerbread before, and this leak is not downgradable to GB.
So if you want to have the official WAIT, remember ICS will be release in Q2, Q2 end in 16days. so you better wait. Or you can flash it since it's probably the final release.
Since now I'm on latest 4.0.4 en.eu leak, can i:
- fastboot to Chinese GB
- boot to recovery
- update OTA

i sent you a pm.
I'm d'loading as we speak. Can anyone comment on performance? I am having some bad wifi signal issues and all the resolutions I have found point to software updates. Im happy to try this out as I am confident the devs will create ways to flash other stuff in the future (I'm very interested in miui v4 and cm9).
What I'm. Getting at is, is the radio performance improved or would I be better holding off for the official UK release?
