I came across this case and was wondering if anyone has tried it out or anything like it? It looks nice but I'm afraid that it will come apart too easily as it is a two part case, or it might be made of cheap material. Thanks for the advice.

i would recommend getting a a TPU kind of case.
Yeah those are good, I got one real cheap on Amazon and it is still holding up pretty well. I just saw this and got curious
i had a backflip, the plastic case really screwed up the paint on it, i got scared of buying "plastic snap on" cases for anything now. lol.

No problem. I don't think it's bulky at all especially compared to the otterbox, made better too in my opinion. And it picks up a little lint but not that much....

Just remember, white cases turn brown really fast. They show dirt really well. I had a white case for about 3 weeks. Now I'm using my otter box.

I decided not to get that case in the OP because of the hard plastic that might scratch the phone, but I ended up getting a two-piece case off Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0065SGLRW/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00
It was only $2.89 so I had to try it out, I mainly got it because of the cutouts for the volume and power buttons.
Edit: Just in case someone was looking at buying this, it does cover up the top mic..
The pictures on Amazon show a different case which is very upsetting considering you can't even buy that one.
I got the Diztronic Matte Back Black Flexible TPU Case...
It costs almost $10 but It does the job perfectly and you get a screen protector free along with it...
But that's for the tip of the wrong picture on amazon. I do most of my shopping there and it is certainly a shame...

I just carved my HTC dock to fit my Laza 3460 Mah Battery case. Do so at your own peril. Remember any tool can be the right tool, I used a saw to cut off most of the support lip, and a razor knife to carve the slot bigger. Lots of sanding with emery file to smooth it out. Be very careful, the guts are right under the top. This is a job not recommended for hemophiliacs. When your all done I would sand the whole top to give it a even look (Your going to scratch the living **** out of it).

Just put it on my phone. Pictures before the case isn't on the phone were taken by the Evo's camera.
Pictures on the phone were taken with the GS2.
Pro's:
Case is snug
Matte finish feels like quality
Protects camera and screen of scrapes
Con's:
Case just barely fits. Very tight and barely covers front edges from touching. Basically, it fits but its tight.

It keeps it off the table. I like mine a lot just gotta get used to pushing the buttons. It has an extra raised lip around the camera which helps keep the case thin yet still protect the camera surrounding.

It will not touch the screen if its face down. Look at the pic with the dime on the screen. If you were to put a dime on the screen and flipped the phone upside down, you'd scrape
because the case is not raised enough on the sides. Its rather disappointing honestly. I liked the fit of my TPU case on my GS2 more because it was raised around the edges enough to avoid screen scrapes.

It will not get stuck in your picket which is why I prefer TPU to any other material. However I think the gel case provides more protection. I've dropped that onto brick and had no worries. Go with TPU if you're careful and have a desk job.

I just received the Poetic Case and they have definitely made improvements over the last case that I owned from them (Nexus 7 2012 Model)
We are all familiar what Poetic Case's look like, not much different except for the Logo. The new logo is quite stylish.

Another great addition over the older model that I had is that they have magnets built into the front cover so you can fold it up and it latches together.
I absolutely love this case for it's minimal yet stylish design, Poetic has done it again. And yes, the cover does have the open to wake functionality. Also the magnets are strong enough that the cover won't flap around.

I bought 2 styles from the manufacture website and the Slimline arrived with that dead fish smell but I did not use it for about 3 days and now that smell is gone. The other one I got from them was the GraphGrip and I love that one more.
I have this exact case in FULL Leather
so the one I have looks EXACTLY the same however the only difference with mine is the entire case is leather, not plastic in the back, and it weighs 7.13grams. hope that helps. And i Love it as well, looks and feels great, not heavy at all, and definitely NO bad odors. lol

I bought the poetic slimline case also. After having the samsung case on my note 8 I didn't like the poetic case. It doesn't sit the tablet up well in landscape mode and it's also a bit bulky. This case is great except that when you fold the cover back the sharp edge is a bit uncomfortable on your skin - I.e., its sharp. Also there is no stylus holder and a stylus comes in quite handy to keep the screen clean.
I remember we did this for the S4 when it first came out and it gave me some great ideas about looking outside cheap Chinese junk rubber cases for a decent case.
This time around I got the Spigen Neo Hybrid ( see here )

This is the exact case that I have @ ashraf sharif. Though I have a zagg glass screen protector. Not the cheapest, but the 8 bux, I paid best buy to install it paid off immediately, as the first one didn't lay down correctly, so he replaced it right then and there.

This is the lightest bumper frame case available obviously only protects the corners and sides because it has no back. Its a great case for those that want the "naked" feel on the phone and still be protected from most drops...the material is a clear TPU so a side benefit is you can see if the S5 battery cover is properly sealed in case you plan on getting your phone wet.
