I removed the sense lockscreen, and themed my phone like WP7. I even got the WP7 lockscreen, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to overlay the android lockscreen. The default swipe to left/right one.
I've tried "No Lock" and a couple other lockscreen disabling apps (Free ones...). I also have widget locker, which managed to disable the lockscreen, but only when widget locker itself was active.
So my question is, how do i disable the android lockscreen?
There's an option in leedroid tweaks to disable the lockscreen

i know launcher pro does this but when you open up an app (like handscent sms) it shows up again.
is there any app or anything to remove the notification bar universally?
I use the zeam launcher. That has an option that almost always hides it. Hope that helps.

so does Launcherpro, i was hoping there's some sort of individual app just for removing the notification bar?
im prettyed used to launcherpro and would prefer to stick with it
I dont know of a way to do it in apps, but if you want it gone on your lockscreen as well, I use Widget Locker to accomplish this as well as place a bunch of widgets Im always using right on my lockscreen

damn, i guess our phones just aren't meant to not have the not. bar.
only reason i'd like to have it gone is so I can further depend on widgets, just for the hell of it.
zeam launcher does it for me all the time once i hide it its gone in any app i open

with 'screen of' widget..
but each time get 2 lockscreen before access to desktop (stock and agile)..
my phone is rooted...

I use the power control plus app, it has a widget that you can control most everything with.
You can disable this issue in agile lock settings. Look got the double lock section, and pick one that works with your phone.
This is probably a really dumb question but my search on Google didn't help me. I am on serendipity 8 and am wondering how can I control the toggles without unlocking?
I also want to be able to quick compose text from the lockscreen. I've tried handcent and go SMS but can't activate the quick compose functions unless I unlock the screen with my password.
Is there any way to do these things?

Anyway to be able to drag down the notification bar in widget locker while at lockscreen? I seem to have it enabled (not disabled anyway) but unless I'm in tool mode I can't pull down notifications

I'm able to use my notification bar while using widget locker. If your options are enabled I'd just reccomend rebooting your phone and trying it again. Also, check out the ice cream sandwich lockscreen theme very nice

I've been using Agile lock, able to pull down the notification bar and answer phone/emails/texts without unlocking. It also has 4 icons that you can drag to unlock and will go directly to those apps.
Ripple lock is from the same developer, does the same thing but has a different layout for the icons on the lock screen.
* It looks like you can't get Agile lock free anymore (I downloaded free a few weeks ago). Ripple lock is still free.
I have Olympus trinity titan hd on my phone and when I wipe everything 3 times and install that room I have the Lockscreen like normal with the widget for each Lockscreen type and the 4 shortcuts.but when I restore settings from titanium and then reboot all I have on my Lockscreen is the wallpaper and the lock ring. What could be causing this??

I want to use a different widget but want to keep the gestures(aosp) lockscreen doesn't allow me to use double tap to wake. Hiwbcan I remove the default HTC lockscreen widget?
