INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
Easy way: flash via cwm. (Should work, untested)
Slow, safer way:
1. Download and extract zip.
2. Make sure you have a way to recover from bootloops.
3. Using root explorer or equivalent, copy systemUI.apk in the extracted app folder to /system/app/ and overwrite the old one (make a backup of it first). Change the permissions to rw-r--r-
You will now get FC errors and might even crash, this is normal! Reboot.
4. Do the same with framework-Res.apk and twframework-Res.apk into the /system/framework/ folder. You will crash after doing framework-res.apk, that is normal. Now download the music player.apk and googlequicksearchbox.apk and put them in system/apps/ like you did with systemUI.apk. These two are only needed if you want the themed music controls and search widget.
DO NOT FLASH 3.0, EXTRACT AND MANUALLY COPY PNGS INTO YOUR APK!
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY BRICKS/BOOT LOOPS! I am not sure if it will work on the international 4.0, try at your own risk.
Enjoy!

I tried to flash it using CWM, but unfortunately it didn't work. It booted, then asked me which launcher I wanted to use. But it didn't respond, and after like 10 secs of freezing it goes ack to the bootanimation at startup, then again asks me which launcher I want to start, then again bootanimation showup, etc etc etc.

Hmm, I just thought of a possible reason of this not working: I am still odexed, meaning I still have a systemUI.odex instead of it being built into the apk. Now, if someone was deodexed, that would mean they wouldn't have the systemUI.odex, hence a problem, correct?

Okay, posting the systemUI.odex, will look into deodexing it later.
The only thing I don't know about is if the odex will work for a deodexed rom, or if it needs to be deodexed. For now, I would maybe stay away from this if you are deodexed, unless you are willing to go through bootloops, etc.
Here is the systemUI.odex, if anyone wants to deodex, or test something. http://db.tt/dlbsDhv8
Sent using Tapatalk
Alright, after looking into deodexing it, I have decided that I really don't have time to work on it now, as I need to get ready to go on a 2 week trip this Sunday. So, the theme is there, it should work on a stock, odexed rom, and if anyone wants, they can deodex it. If not, I will work on it when I get back. I might be able to remove the "Jim's 4.0" this evening, and make it flashable with cwm.

I believe the updated version should flash correctly using cwm as I simply sent the files through uot kitchen. And, yes, you can just install it manually, which is what I recommend. I have instructions to do so in the op.
Btw, are you trying to make this work for the 5.0, I am having trouble understanding what you are trying to do? (sorry, my fault, not yours!)

oh sorry when i first download ur zip it was corrupted, idk why.
But now it works perfect.
Also im try deodex systemui , but have errors. ( i think need jar from ur rom)
I'll pm the whole /system/framework/ folder to you in just a sec. It will take a couple around a hour to upload on my internet, so sit tight!

Okay, I'll give it a quick try later this evening, but can't spend to much time. I thought I read somewhere you need a Unix enviroment, but I have windows 7, so...

So, I am having trouble finding how to deodex the single app with xultimate, solution?
Well, messed with xultimate, then baksmali, but I must not have something configured right, because I can't get anything. Sorry, I might just deodex my whole rom when I get back.

The theme is currently in BETA and in incomplete! Still currently in development! Please post any bugs or suggestions in detail so I can fix.
This is just the beginning so don't expect much and please don't troll/spam the thread! I will be continuing improving this theme so keep an eye out for updates. Eventually I will be compiling the theme into a recovery ZIP so don't spam me about that. Thx!

r/w means read/write
and to go back to default you will need to original files that you overwrite.

SlicknessBlack updated to version 2. Includes recolored icons and some icons have been replaced.
You can't clean up framework Res as all PNG there are necessary. If your going to make a theme Chooser theme you don't need to make update zip. It just installs the APk as an app then apply in theme Chooser.
Sent from my GT540 using XDA App
I meant that there are PNGs in framework thats supposed to be in SystemUI but was duplicated. I need to clean that up a bit. And how to make the theme display in theme chooser? Just install the SystemUI.apk under different name? What about framework...doesn't that still need to be installed separately?
Look if your going to make it like cyanbread apk from phone then extract and rename your PNG to the same as all in cyanbread then replace. Put on SD card and install. Then it appears in themechooser.
Remember to delete cyanbread from system app when going to install new one
Sent from my GT540 using XDA App
Cyanbread is just the base structure for my theme. I don't want my theme to replace the default Cyanbread in the theme choose. I want to have my own theme displayed in the theme choose...you understand what I mean?
Yeah if you want to do that there is an XML in cyanbread so you can change the name and install alongside it
Sent from my GT540 using XDA App
Which comes to my problem of not being able to edit the XML files...
This one is not encrypted though just open in notepad++
Sent from my GT540 using XDA App
Which XML file do I edit? AndroidManifest.xml?
I'm not sure I'll tell you in about an hour
Sent from my GT540 using XDA App
What...that long...anyhow...I want to make a recovery ZIP install as well as a APK install for later versions. Maybe v4 I will do that. I'm currently modifying v3 and it's looking more and more pro! Maybe release v3 tomorrow or the next day, however I need to get some XMLs working.
As I said before don't copy xmls and sorry that's because I do paperounds in the mornin

It says "Screenshot"... and yet there is none.
Perhaps "three rows" refers to additional row space on each home screen? And I'd probably be interested in a 'trimmed-down' launcher.
I think its 3 screens instead of normal 5.

For anyone having issues with the given instructions and would like to do it graphically using a file explorer the instructions are quite simple.
1. Open file explorer of choice (Root Explorer or ES which is free) and navigate to the downloaded modified apk.
2. Rename file to Launcher2.apk if it is not already.
3. Navigate to /system/app and make a backup of your original Launcher2.apk.
4. Copy and paste the modified file from your download location into /system/app and replace the original.
5. From here all you have to do is reset or go to your settings and force kill the Launcher app under "All".
6. You will notice that any widgets you had will be gone/malfunctioning. This is normal. Simply delete what is left and replace what you had as normal. Apps should stay the same.
Could you possibly make another one of these for UEKMB? I noticed that you said this mod is for P7500XWKG9. I am using P7510UEKMB and it is very choppy and jittery. (Which is to be expected, of course.)
I am assuming it is as simple as applying the same modification to Doc's UEKMB Touchwiz Launcher2.apk found here:

VERY cool! Just a quick question, this doesn't affect anything that b00sted is working on with the task bar modifications, does it? What I mean is, if I modify the task bar with one of his selections, reboot, modify the launcher, and reboot, it won't revert back to the stock TW task bar, right? I don't know if they are two separate mods in the /system folder or not because I don't have the TW ROM installed yet
Thanks in advance and great work!

I made a theme for Arconium ics. I enjoy the rom but i never liked the stock statusbar, So i decided to make one for other people to enjoy.
Credits are doomed151 for making the rom,krabappel2548 for the statusbar icons i got from his rom.
I made a new version with quickpannel settings because v2 had some problems and i wasnt able to theme that one. This new one i honestly cant find it on xda anymore. I wish to give credit to the creator but i am unable to give credit where is due. When i find the creator i will put his name and a link for him.
-Directions-
Download whatever version you want.
Transfer the version you want to your phone.
Use root explorer or similar to move the version to System
Set the permisions so its Rw/R/R
Some of the files might be named like v3SystemUI.apk or v3SystemUI.apk.zip
Rename the file so its SystemUI.apk and move it to the apps folder and replace the previous one.
Reboot phone and done

You have to use a file manager app to move or copy and paste the files to the correct folder but you must have root access.
I used the free version of Root Browser to copy the files from my download folder on my sd card then went to the root of my phone and looked for a folder that is named System. After going into that folder there's another one named app that's where you paste them in but you have to delete a file named SystemUI.apk otherwise when you reboot the quick panel won't work. It will after the first reboot but any other time after that it will stop working and the file I mentioned will take over. I made a backup of SystemUI.apk and put it in my download folder just in case something went wrong. So far everything has been good and its working 100%. I hope this helps you and isn't too confusing.

I used the free version of Root Browser to copy the files from my download folder on my sd card then went to the root of my phone and looked for a folder that is named System. No. Its working on my XMP.
To install, download the five files from...
http://www.mediafire.com/?uxxq7c11nruxrq2 (Same as OP, Sorry)
and paste them somewhere on your cell phone memory card. Then boot in CWM, and install all the zips, and then re-boot. First re-boot will take time.
.....
Nice job AgungDaVici. Good compilations of all HTC mods, and nicely modded framework, gives a nice HTC sense transformation. Will look forward for more updates to this project. And why did you make downloading so difficult for us? I will suggest to create a RAR of all the files, and upload in Mediafire.
Thank You
Rick

sense Ray
Hi, I am wondering if it is compatible with xperia ray ?
Finally, I could not wait so I gave it a try. Unfortunatly I faced bootloop upon start up. Maybe because of the resolution difference or it is not compatible with ICS.

Hello Akashik,
The framework files have differnt structures on the ICS and the GB. And also, I suppose the mod here has been done on files which are resolution dependent, and thus will not work on any resolution other than the MDPI.
but still, you can get it working to half extent. Just flash all the 5 zip files again, using CWM, and then flash any theme for ICS Ray (your favourite one, any will do). This will give you the theme's framework files, but will give you all the applications provided in the 5 zips. (there are applications in the 5 zips which duplicate the Sense Lock Screen, and the keyboard and the launcher too). Yo And obviously, you can copy files from the framwork file in the zips to the Ray ICS framework file, to get working fully on the Ray.

Sorry to say but that it does not pass the boot screen step. So thks as it is good to know that it might happen one day, specially for a HTC sense addict (I got a HD2)

I do not know why it did not work for you. It should work in theory. But I will provide you all the apks (for the lock screen, the launcher, the widgets etc etc, once I am on my AI.
Thanks.

Unpack the zips, and install the apks normally, using any file browser.

Edit: Removed attached files as author asked.
@AKASHIK:
Just unpack the files,
1. Sense apk.zip and 2. Sense widget.zip
from the downloaded five zips (as uploaded by AgungDaVici), and go to
Sense widget\system\app
and
Sense apk\system\app
(You get those folders after unpacking the zips)
and copy the apks there over to your SD, and then install them using any file browser.

Okay, I am sorry.
I just uploaded the apps as some one asked for them on the Xperia Ray. And these apks are anyways not built by you. I did not re-upload the framework files where you did your job.
Still, I am sorry, I am removing the posts right away.

We have progres. I was able to install them and reboot the fone.
Sense widget are crashing.
The uninstallable apks are :
music, SemcSettings, Settings, SystemUi.
This is a fake sense interface, because of standalone LauncherPro widgets which emulates the Sense UI
No. The author did his job on the framework files to make it look like the htc sense. So the buttons and user interface aspects do look like sense.
And he added the launcher and widgets to make the transformation complete. No theming will ever be able to replicate htc sense completely without apps such as the widgets and launchers. For a complete transformation, we will need a porting of the Rom.
Thanks,
Rick

Adding an applications which run in background make this more battery consuming. BTW my theme also uses framework changes to make it "Sense" look-like. But i base on idea to minimize battery consuming...

I tried your work too. Its much more polished editing of the framework file.
AgungDaVici just added the launcher and lockscreen apks and widgets apk, and compiled everything up in five zips (I still do not know why five, and why not one), to give a more close to sense experience.
Btw, about battery usage, we can completely shift to the htc launcher from the Sony Launcher, so whatever battery Sony Launcher drained will now be drained by the HTC sense launcher. So battery is not much of an issue.
Thanks,
Rick

So bad
Ics
im only looking for the ics status bar, not a rom.xD
Download the ICS Fusion Rom , Open with WinRAR extract SystemUI.apk from System/App . Open the SystemUI.apk with WinRAR and extract LDPI folder. Then extract the themed icons and pics you want. Take the SystemUI from the rom you are on and extract the LDPI folder. Replace the ICS themed status bar stuff from the ICS LDPI to your Roms. Put the Modified LDPI into the SystemUI.apk and then put that SystemUI.apk on your phone. Download SignAPKTic from the Google Play Store or APKTops and Re-Sign the SystemUI.apk you just edited by choosing the modified SystemUI.apk then choose test sign then click sign and choose output file SystemUI.apk and sign it. It takes around 3 minutes tops!
Then set the Root Permissions etc. and replace the Original with the modified one! Then Re-Boot and Clear Dalvik,Battery Stats,Cache. Hope this worked for you!!

yup, just make sure that when you are replacing the icons in your original systemUI.apk, you should retain the original names of the files
it's a simple procedure (use winrar or other extracting programs you like)
things you might do:
(1) replacing icons
(2) re-sizing the icons (if needed)
(3) checking the names of files
(4) pushing and setting the correct permissions
goodluck

Hmm..How can we make the systemUI folder into an apk after replacing the icons? Just add to zip/rar? Do we have to compress and which format zip/rar? Thanks

no need to make it hard bro
just make a copy of the apk file that you want to edit
and using winrar, just overwrite the files with the edited version that you made (should have the same name)
then push + restart
