Hello ive got a Samsung galaxy s2 and just updated to ics. Just wondering if anyone else experiences a vibrate noise on the higher vibrate intensity levels, its not a general solid vibrate noise, more of a little rattle that goes away if you hold the top part of the phone. Although there's no rattle when you shake the phone.

Hello guys. I have a wired problem.
Every time I make a call, the other site tells me, that he can't hear me very well. It seems like the mic volume is extremly low.
Is there any way to fix this.

+1 on this...
Im tired from turning noise reduction off constantly or typing secret code which gets default again when the phone reboots.

Okay so during a phone call there's this red light next to the front facing camera, once the call is over it disappears!
Are we bring recorded?!!? Lol
But seriously does anyone know what the red light is and/or why it is there?
Thanks in advance

It's not a light at all, it's the proximity sensor.
Lol whats with all the conspiricys on here lately
The proximity sensor doesn't light up. Its the infrared light for the sensor.

AT&T is recording all your phone calls and sending the information to companies so that you can get more personalized results. It's part of the terms and conditions that you sign...Now, you can be talking to your friend about these new jeans you really want to buy, end the call, and boom, Amazon's link to that pair is ready and waiting.
@yahoowizard: I knew it!!! LOL
@quarlow: Figured, just wanted to have a fun thread! LOL
Some people have better near-IR sensitivity than others... Just like old people have less sensitivity to high frequencies than young, leading to some old fogeys using "squealers" to implement "get off my lawn!".
The light during calls is the near-IR component of the prox sensor. It's how the phone turns off the screen and disables touch when your face is next to it.
This thread made me laugh.

I have often noticed that the vibration of the touch button/keyboard makes a strange noise (like a "tick tick tick"), so the feedback isn't very good!
It's normal?
Yea it's normal.
In my opinion it's not normal...
Anyone else?
If you mean a -bzz- that's normal, had it with every phone that vibrates.

I don't understand the question. I don't hear any sound on mine, at most you could hear a buzz if you hear very carefully (usual in most phones).

Anyone else?
Does anyone think that the sound volume is too low? Ringing, speaker phone, etc. I feel like everything is lower than previous phones.

I second that. Anyone?

This is because of the increasing ring volume.....
You haven't said, but I assume you meant max volume right, as opposed to the above?
If you don't, there will sure enough me a hack ported from SGS2 to SGS3 to disable the increasing ring. Of course root well be required.

Yeah sorry I meant max volume. does anyone know if volume + works for the s3?

I actually think the phone is far too loud... and i dont like how the sound adjustment is in steps and not vairable. even on its LOWEST setting (before its completely off) if it goes off in a classroom or office enviroment everyone around me can hear it.. (the whole class)
Hi guys,
I've been having some issues with audio, people could not hear me. So I stared looking for a solution.
This is what I did:
Phone, menu, call settings, un tick noise reduction, in call-sound EQ set to clear sound.
Let me know if this worked for you guise, definitely worked for me

Since I got my SGS3 everyone I speak to over the phone tell me that the microphone quality is so good that it sounds like I'm right next to them speaking directly into their ear. It sounds the same for me too.

It's not that they can't hear me completely, but sometimes they hear a metallic voice, it happened also when I spoke to my girlfriend i could hear a mettalic voice. Since I changed these settings everything is perfect
