Plus with every referral you both get an extra 1GB of storage up to 50GB!
If anyone would like to use my link here it is, thank you!

I though i should share, i found an app called Sugarsync, its similar to dropbox but if you use the link below they will give you 500mb of storage space free. Oh and did i mention that they will start you off at 5gb of storage on top of the 500mb.
Check it out if you want!
Looks like i will use this more that dropbox!

Which one do you prefer. Right now I have a Dropbox pro account that I dropped but still has membership, and I have a recurring sugar sync account which I love. But I was just wondering which do you prefer?

I personally use dropbox, mainly because it was the first one I tried and was free, have never heard of or used sugarsync. I stand by the motto of don't fix what isn't broken and having 7gb on my dropbox I don't plan on going anywhere soon.

Dropbox for me, I only have 5GB, but that's pretty much all I need.
That's good, but I can't get referrals for the love of it.
Dropbox, but not because it's better than SugarSync. I have a ton of friends that use dropbox and with the recent 5 gigs they gave away I'm at 17 gigs of space.
That being said, I've heard great things about SugarSync so if you don't plan on sharing anything/folders with friends (Dropbox is, for the most part, the universal standard) I might give that a try too.

It may sound like something you absolutely hate doing, but spam the hell out of your friends and family. It won't cause them any harm and you'll GREATLY appreciate the extra storage space. It took me a long time to come to terms with it, but boy was it a great decision. I sent out an email explaining that I was helping friends coordinate a programming project and that by them signing up it helped us out a lot with school. Worked like a charm (though it was all true. lol).
What? no one signed up for Asus Web Storage when they got their prime?
I still use dropbox, but signed up for a Asus account thru my Prime and they give you 8 GB of storage instead of the 2 GB that anyone else gets.
Why not just use Tonido and use your own computer and as much space as you want? By using Tonido I don't have to worry about space anymore.
I use Dropbox and Dropsync to keep important docs local and in sync. That way I don't rely on wifi... Works great for me. Go check out their blog to see if they still have the recent beta going where each 500MB in photos and video you sync automatically gives an equal amount of storage up to 5GB.

DB for sure. Google the 2.0.9 apk and it now has unlimited uploaded & there is a way yo get 500gb free instant & then 4.5gb free for uploading during the beta.
Plus the new version can sync photos & bids instantly when taken.
Ya I'm doing it, but I only received the initial 500mb then after upload automatically I got nothing. What the 2.09 APk I don't understand.
With 2.0.9 every 500mb you upload with their new upload feature will give you 500mb up to 5gb. Many of us all got the 5gb as I just made 500mb vids & uploaded them.
Yes I just did it too. It seems the google Adwords is a great way to do this too huh?
I've used Dropbox for a while and will continue to - I have several shared folders set up that are very useful. I did sign up for the 8gb from Asus and the 50gb promotion from Box. Those along with misc cloud storage that came with my laptop and printer (he'll, not to mention Google Docs and Music)...... I'm pretty well set I use them for different things and so easy I've not used at all yet.
just use vmware and set some virtual machines up, u'll get 16gb in no time(had an .edu email so it gave me double), so far i got 23.88gb from dropbox.
wouldve been more if i didnt miss that 1gb scavenger hunt thing
Sugarsync for me
I use Sugarsync and it works well. The main reason I picked it over Dropbox was the ability to select multiple separate directories to sync (vs just one Dropbox directory). You also can choose which directories to sync between which PCs (not all dirs have to be synced between all PCs). Very handy. However, Sugarsync has two large holes (that are supposed to be filled this year) - you can't sync a directory on a USB drive, and you have to sync with the cloud (vs getting data directly from a local PC).
Agree on Dropbox, tried them both and its better on android.
Dropsync is very nice for tablets/phones too. got on my prime and sgs2 for convenient sync with no hassles

NAS Server
You should check out a NAS Server. Set up your own cloud and stream your content wherever you are!
Synology DS212j is a pretty neat little machine!
I have used SugarSync for about 18 months. I am liking how they are agressively updating it and appear to be trying to gain traction in a very competitive market by improving the product. It works well for me on my TFP 201. I have the 100 gig storage plan.
Dropbox
Currently using Dropbox and loving it. I have the 50Gb account that is up to 54.5 with referrals, beta etc. This may change though when Google deploys Drive.
I've used both, and Sugarsync wins just for the ability to sync multiple independent folders. I know there are some workarounds in DB, but I don't want workarounds. I like the ability to just click on a folder and share it immediately, and still keep it where I want it. It's pretty easy to get above the given 5Gb too, with a little legwork. I got up to 6.5Gb in 15 minutes by jumping through their hoops. Also, the interface is pretty easy to work with. I had formerly used Windows Live Mesh, which was quick to sync, and can work peer to peer (still use it on my LAN because it's so quick, and no file limits via P2P). Unfortunately there are few mobile clients for Mesh. So Sugarsync wins for me.

I hate that you cant browse out to you "Off-line" documents on Google Drive on your phone of tablet.... or I haven't found a way to do that... without digging into all the nesting...
does dropbox allow you to use i.e. ES File explorer and set pictures as wallpapers or save documents to your SDCard etc?
ES file explorer added support for GDrive so that helps with browsing files.
it has ??? Damn i didnt know... thanks !
hit the thanks button...

How do you claim your free 23GB from HTC? i cant seem to find it anywhere...
EDIT: Nevermind.... thanks all! i think DB wins...
Create a account make sure to log in on a comp n then log in to dropbox on the phone
Gunna have to go with drop box. Especially if you have to share files. Google drive just isn't as intuitive with file sharing like drop box is. For me I have to share .zips for themes and Google drive just doesn't cut it. Drop box ftw. However if you have something with a ton if traffic... good luck cuz they will nuke your public links.

I am a heavy Dropbox user. The thing I like most about Drobox is that I have a portable app which allows me to sync all my documents from a USB memory drive. This is especially important at work since I can't download any applications/etc.
I'm not sure of Google Drive's capabilities yet but I do expect to start playing around with it.
I do love the Titanium feature where it syncs backups to Dropbox. (Google drive I think does this as well). Comes in handy when you haven't backed up your phone on your computer in a long while, and you drop your phone deep into a lake. The same goes with syncing pictures.

for what I have been reading, Google Drive is not a virtual "drive" in a sense... like DropBox is... GD is Google Docs in costume... it works great for sharing documents specially if you use the web gui because it can render a lot of files natively... so if you are going to have wordDocs and XLS and PPTs, PSDs etc etc then GD is great... but for regular file dump, cloud repository DropBox wins...
Hello awesome people!
Copy,
it is relatively new and seems promising actually.
You can sign up and get only 5GB here MOD EDIT
Or you can use my referral link to get 10GB of free storage: MOD EDIT
you can also get an extra 2GB by tweeting copy on your Twitter account but I don't use twitter
They have desktop clients for Windows, Mac and Linux.
Their Android app is very good, it has a nice ui and can automatically backup your photos to your account
MOD EDIT
Cheers! :highfive:
hope I helped.
