I have a g tablet with a broken dock connector. I heard that the Sansa dock was the same exact one. I was wondering if instead of buying the dock I could use the Sansa cable to charge the tablet since it is much cheaper.
a guy who was looking into hdmi rewiring, bought some sansa docks said nope.

I had a desk stand for my wizard a while ago, but I sent it back because it wasn't charging properly. I used to have a great looking stand for my Magician, but there seems to be a lack of quality stands for the wizard. Does anyone have one they'd recommend?

I bought this one from Ebay for under $20 shipped. Not sure what you're looking for, but I've been very happy with it. It has a power adapter cable for charging through the mini-USB port, PLUS a separate USB cable to sync with the computer.
I like the angled cradle stand. I can more easily use the keyboard and use the apps while in the cradle charging/syncing. Since I have this desktop cradle, a car charger, and the OEM charger on my desk at work, I didn't opt for a charger w/extra battery that could charge both at once.

Looks a bit plasticy. I got one from eBay, but I had to return it because it was faulty. The one you posted looks like what I want as long as it's fairly solid.
While it IS "plasticky", it's proven to be very solid. I've had it for almost a year now without having any issues with it. I've purchased several accessories from this particular vendor for my phones over the years, and haven't had any issues with any of them -- so, I can personally vouch for the quality of the products they list.

It works fine on every single device but the prime.... I can connect it to my PC to transfer data...but then again the PRIME WONT CHARGE THROUGH USB PLUGGED INTO PC!!!
Guess I can't charge and use my tablet while in bed...
I'm pretty sure the USB cable length is limited by some kind of USB standart. May I suggest this for charging in bed? (I'm lucky having an outlet next to my pillow)
USB 2.0 does not support charging for TF. You need USB 3.0 extension cable. I use one without any issue.

as long as the screen is off, it charges when connected to my toshiba w/ usb 2.0, but then you can't use it at the same time of course
I am able to charge mine on my acer laptop. I can even use it while charging.

Prime's charging cable is longer than original transformer.
I just purchased and recieved the Power Adapter kit from Office Depot (http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/768723/ASUS-Power-Adapter-For-Eee-Pad/) and the USB cable is the exact same length as the one that came with my Prime, about 5 feet long (1.5 meters).

I've had both, but it's been a while since I had the original transformer. The prime cable is definitely longer by a couple of feet at least.

The OG Transformer's cable is ~3ft, the cable that comes packed with the TF Prime is ~5ft.
I also purchased the TF101 Power Adapter Kit from OfficeMax and while it works just find with the TF Prime, the cord that came with it is the 3 foot version that came with the OG Transformer. On the bright side, the prongs on the charger from OfficeMax folds up which makes this version slightly more convenient when traveling.

I ordered and received it about a week and a half ago right after I got my Prime. It came in a little blueish cardboard box that had a picture of the Asus Transformer TF101 on it. I can take pics when I get home if you like.
EDIT: I ordered 2 more, and both came with a 3ft cable and foldable plug prongs.
i've looked around and they go for around 20 bucks...

Since the connector is proprietary and not a lot of 3rd parties have started making them they can be hard to find. You will have better results if you look for a cable fro the original TF101 Transformer as the cables are the same.
Here is one on eBay for about $13
You should note, that if you are hoping to charge your tablet you will be much better off buying an Asus wall charger since using the cable to charge by USB will take a very long time and won't work while you are using the tablet. Similarly iPhone chargers and similar USB wall adapters will also be very slow and won't work while you are using the tablet.
You can buy additional wall chargers from Office Depot. I have purchased several and they have very fast shipping.
TF101/201 Power Adapter
Can any one recommend a dock charger for my s2? I'd prefer if it also had a speaker, but I could live without one. Any suggestions?
I've been happy with the oem (samsung) dock. It does have a speaker. I think I ordered it through ATT, but wouldn't swear to it.

If you're talking about this one, it doesn't actually have a speaker. That's actually just a port for the phone's speaker itself.
It does in fact have a speaker, but its fairly useless. I have the audio out hooked up to a Logitech speaker dock (leftover from an iphone).
It works well as a charging dock, but you cannot connect to a PC while docked. The dock only charges via wall power.
Would I be able to buy any 30 pin, 3rd party charger for the prime, or should I look for one specifically on ebay or amazon?
The connector has proprietary wiring inside. I bought one on eBay and while it transfers data it will not charge my Prime. The whole reason I bought it was to have a charging cord in the car. Just make sure the cable is OEM.
