I am new here and trying to install language pack on my windows phone by using the cab sender.
however when finish restarting the phone, it would let me finish but saying that there is an error.
any idea?

hi there, i hav an o2 xda 2, that i managed to flash to 1.72 rom, but now i would like to sell it so i tried to flash it back to the original o2 rom (with all the o2 interface etc) and i get an error message saying "ERROR 100: MODEL ID " and then it all stops, so now i hav an xda2 with a blank screen, that says serial at the top and v1.03 at the bottom in red. windows picks up that the device is there wen i dock it but i cant drag any files on to it at all. im completely stuck now havnt got a clue how to get it back to how it was, all i want is it to be back to normal. can anyone help? cheers
OK. Try this:
1. Press Power+Navi-key+reset in one time (you will be in bootloader - that screen with Serial 1.03, if you put it into cradle, it will change to USB 1.03)
2. Kill ActiveSync in Windows (wcescomm.exe process) using Task Manager
3. Put XDA2 into cradle
4. Run the update again

I just bought an PM200 (German T-Mobile Edition), WM5 says its a PM200.
After that I installed the aku 3.3 and everything worked fine...
Then I tried to install the "Charmer_Touch_GER_Ridingshark_Beta_3.2".
But while Writing the new TouchFLOW OS ROM i got the error... "Could not update itsutils.dll to the current version, maybe it is in use?
try restarting your device, or restart activesync
But i realized it to late and already made a Hard Reset...
Then the Touch-Flow UI tried to install and the i got the WM error:
"The file : \windows\XDADev_BatFix.exe does not exist".
But i cant go on with the install but it doesnt matter which button i push...no one responds...
Then i downloaded the XDADEV_Batfix.cab but that dowsnt work...sure because it isnt the exe file...
Can anybody help me with tha prob?
I also treid to install the WM6 update again but i always get the itsutils.dll error...

Here is how to do it:
Flash back to WM5 using bootloader. Press camera button during reset.
If you see the screen with the 3 colours plug in the USB cable and wait till the Device is installed. Now run the T-Mobile uptade (Best is to use Akku3.3).
After it is finished connect to active sync and go to the Folder were the WM 6 upgrade is in. Now install the two cabs out of the folder where the WM6 ROM is in, on your device and make a soft reset. After that run the upgrade File. It will go same as before, but there will be no error and it will update completly.
Have a nice time with WM6

Thanks again to ChrBeck, I also used the search in this Forum to get it solved but i could find anything useful.
The only thing I had to do was to install the to cab´s (Cert_SPCS.cab and EnableRapi.cab witch are already included in the Charmer_Touch_GER_Ridingshark_Beta_3.2.rar.
The first Step was to update the WM5 Version to the aku 3.3. Then I transmitted the 2 Files with activeSync and installed them on the Charmer just with thip on each File. And the last Step was to flash the new WM6...
DONE....
Its so easy if you know what to do and with help from some users...

I looked through as many posts as I could but maybe I'm not doing it right.
I flashed the android 2.2 ROM on my HTC HD2 from O2 but now I need to go back to windows 6.5 which was originally there. I dont have the official ROM and I would be very thankful if someone could send me the correct link to how to do it or how to get the official ROM.

you didnt say which country, so i will assume UK.
first, run hspl.exe (the one you used when you installed hspl) but this time choose 2.08.0000
then
get 1.72 from htc website
http://www.htc.com/uk/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=297&cat=2&dl_id=960
phone into bootloader, connect usb, run the 1.72 rom.exe
If you didnt mean UK, go to teh htc website, choose your country, choose your phone, click support, downloads, change the dropdown from 'all' to 'rom updates', find teh one that says o2 and use that.

There's a 3.14 rom, you could try that, but it could also be faulty....

I have an issue with an HTC radar. (TMoUS not unlocked or HSPL equiped - box stock before CAB updates)
I have CAB updated my radar CAB by CAB (doing one upgrade at at time) to get me to 8858.136
Phone works, sort of, and I wold like some troubleshooting help. (will take calls, and recieve text messages)
The phone will not let me access certain screens, like the "about" screen to check installed firmware. It takes the selection like it is accepting it, then flashes back to the screen where the selection started. Same respoonse for a number of things, like messages.
I have a feeling it is language related, but I cannot get it to take any 8858.136 language CAB updates. (phone shows as having Deutsch, English, Espanol, Francis, and Italiano installed. )
Is there a CAB update that can fix this? Did I miss something silly? Can I get back to the original OE ROM and try again?
Any help would be appreciated.
I forgot to add, I am currently at SPL - 4.6 .175006.2(140733)

I managed to install Dynamics on my Mozart Orange UK.
I updated Radio to Radio_GSM_Rom_Mozart_5.71.09.02a_22.51.50
Now I would like to update the Firmware to Hd2_Mozart_2250.21.401.51303 which comes in a cab file but upon sending it I get the error 800B010A 'A certificate chain could not be built to a trusted root authority'
It changes the OEM logo, 3G fix, change the Office and Game live tile colors to match your scheme from what I gathered.
Anybody encountered that problem before and how to fix it?
I have rebooted many times but it is not sent through.
