I have a silly question, when I upgrade my S2 to ICS 4.0 with many cook roms, i use titan backup to restore asphalt 6. When playing game, I could not play the game because it freeze all times. Anyone faced same problems like me, and any solutions? Sorry for my bad English. Thank you

I have already deleted all data, and downloaded new game and new data. But the problem still there. When coming in the game, i could played few mintues before the screen frozen and the game force close. Hix, tried many times and not successful. Please help.
Let someone who has the game reply. I dont have that game.

+1, I installed the updated version from Play store yesterday, no problems. I noticed Riptide kept pausing itself after a few stages though, may 2 in an hours play
I have similar issue on Acer iconia tab a500 with ICS, launch game and get msg says "cannot play video" then after press OK twice just get a black screen.
Originally thought it was just ics update issue with unstable apps on a500 till I got all the rest working.
Have sent email to Gameloft. No reply as yet
well i got the game and it tends to get sloppy after a couple of hours playing but it doesn't freeze or FC

Which is cache this you use?.coz mine crashes after the video thing
working on my streak..running steve's 1.7.0 and is also working on stock 2.2.
i can't provide you with the game guys cause is not allowed on xda.
i can tell you witch version to look for to work.
version witch work is 3.3.2-install the apk..download data over wifi and voila is done.

Why can't I buy this app in the Android marketplace? I see they sell Asphalt 5 (iTunes already has Asphalt 6), so why not sell all their games through the market?? Because they(gameloft)dont want to release on android since alot of device dont support it because of cpu and gpu issue.you can buy it on thier website but its limited only for some android devices.

Hi I think i found a way to play modern combat 2 on the xperia play you go to load it from the apps menu and it will force close then you hold the recent apps button and select it there and it will load just fine but it still does force close sometimes during gameplay but just a quick fix for anyone eager to play this on the xperia play.
Note you have to select it from the apps menu first so it force closes if not it will not work.
I had Real Racing 2 on my rooted NT prior to CM7, but can't figure out how to install after flashing CM7. Tried putting the apk in system/app and data/app and both result in failed installation. Any ideas? Maybe permissions are off?

That is a good question.
I couldnt' get asphalt 6, modern combat 3, and 9mm to play.
They would validate files after install but would force close when starting the games.
Several other games I couldn't even get to install and would get the install failed prompt.
One of the only graphic intense games I could run was shadowgun.

Have you tried installing them from the Market? idk if they're market apps or not or how you acquired them or whatever.

The game doesnt show up in the market on the NT, so I swapped the apk over from my phone, which worked prior to CM7.
Tried the SD card method and it said it installed successfully but when I try to load the game it just goes to a black screen...forever

When you were on Stock, did you do the build.prop change that was posted?
No build.prop changes the first time, just copied apk from phone to tablet and installed.

Haha, if I had a nickel...
The CM7 downloads were taken down due to several bugs, including one that nearly fully bricked the NT.
I have been monitoring the CM7/9 progress from day 1 and downloaded the Alpha the morning it was released before they took it down.

The app shows up on the NT but when you I try to open it, it says that it is not compatible and that I should request a refund.
My NT is on 1.4.0, rooted (Nook&Zergy) with OTAs blocked.

If someone knows a fix, please post it here!
Some details: The game launches, shows me the yellow EA icon, takes me on to the opening cutscene, then loads and plays menu music, which has a slight lag in the beginning of it. Then nothing... After a while the phone kills the app, no error message.
Again ICS is not yet released you have a buggy beta test rom multiple problems .

Real racing 2 doesn't work on gingerbread, nevermind ICS.
Unless they have recently updated it, it crashes a few seconds into a race.
The work around was to not use cockpit view.... But this is the one I wanted to use.
The comments on the android market seemed to show similar problems from users with SGS2.

Agreed, I've had consistent FC's with Real Racing and that goes back to GB ROMs. You'd think EA would either update their software or take it off the Market. Bummer too, Real Racing is a kickass game in iOS. I'm on a i777.
I know this is in the galaxy s2 section, but it works perfectly on my HTC sensation, and I'm on ics now. So it's not the os at fault, but could it be to do with the tegra chip or some other hardware compatibility issue in your phones?

Have same problem after ICS update, tried to reach EA several times and no success. Also tried to refund on Google Plaay for the Real Racing 2 and no success..
So we have to wait an update, or a work around solution.
There is a new version floating around which works on ICS. Real Racing 2 v1.11.4.000540 HD. It is not available in the Google Market (play store) yet.

Compalitible with Galaxy S2 ?
Real Racing 2 is available free for the Galaxy S3 on the Samsung App Store. This Version did run on my GNEX as well. I had to sideload the 400 mb data file and turn wifi off. Otherwise a stupid alert would pop up.
Works on the S3 perfectly. Works on the GNEX with the workaround. I cannot comment on the S2 behaviour...
Bearing in mind that there IS a version running on ICS, we should see somthing on the Google Play Store as well...

I don't feel ICS is worth it yet. Too many incompatible apps that will not launch or start at all in ICS or crashes.
I have not yet found a single app that I use that doesn't function.
I've heard something about Instagram that doesn't work on our ICS Sense 3.6 leak, but I don't use that.
And I haven't seen anyone else making posts like this, so the issue lies with your own device I believe.
Try doing a superwipe and then a fresh install, and not reinstalling apps through various backup apps (Like Titanium Backup, MyBackup, etc) as that can sometimes cause issues like the ones you're describing.

Your own opinion. None of my apps have failed to start up or work correctly when using ICS.
Maybe post what apps you are saying are incompatible?
What apps are you talking about? My Transformer Prime on ICS has tons of apps and games....haven't run into many issues.

You want to indulge us on some of these apps?
My SD card is filled with apps. 32GB, almost completely full... with apps.
Not music, or videos or pictures, but apps.
I have yet to find one that either doesn't start or simply force-closes in ICS that didn't already screw up in Gingerbread.

There's some but not many... I happen to know of one, the MMA Underground app, which is a paid app and it won't even let me download it from market because it's 'incompatible'.

There are "incompatible" apps that won't download (app makers fault for not updating) but will still run on ICS with no issues. At Bat 12 paid app will not download because it says it is incompatible, but I restored from my Titanium Backup from my GB ROM and it runs just fine.
Since i've upgraded, i had some problem with swype and i lost my favorite "whip" app... that is a mess

Of the apps you mention, I only have Flext9 and I have the same problem that you specify (it crashes).
I was about to write a post seeing if someone might know if there is a fix. I have the stock 4.0.3 XXLPQ firmware. Rooted with CF Root 5.4.

Every one of my apps works perfectly fine on ICS, except for iHeartRadio. It starts up and runs fine, but it likes to just close out every once in a while, either while I'm listening to it or when I have it paused for a while.
Hulu Plus is my only issue.
When I flashed 4.0.3, I did so with CF root 5.3. This caused me tons of issues with apps (12 vanished and would not let me reinstall). After flashing CF root 5.4, the problem went away. So, probably most issues are related to how you root the device (if you did so).
Like I said in my previous post, only Flext9 crashes/freezes and can't be used. Too bad because someone recommended this keyboard to me and I wanted to test it.

Actually, I can't get gameboid to run properly on any ICS rom if someone else wants to try it out. I was playing a link to the past and it just keeps exiting out completely, no FC notice or anything.

Hello my friends here in Xda well I have a Xperia St15i recently I upgraded to stock ICS via SEUS and rooted it with the method by downgrading it, anyway not important, all went just fine I was happy with the new ICS and everything, I installed my Fav apps and all just go working fine.
I installed this games: "angry Birds", "angry birds seasons", "Angry birds space","They need to be feed","NFS shift","Doodle Jump","aliens" and "androidify". in the past in my older devices with GB and Eclair stock rooms this games never gave me a problem even on the current ICS until few days ago.
the other day I was just playin "they need to be feed" when suddenly the touchscreen stop working ...?¿?¿?... no message alert of fc and nothing came up the game still running normally but when I touched the screen for playing it do nothing, anyway the back, menu and home buttons still working and i quit the game by preesing home button, the stock launcher and all the other functions in the phone all were normal even the touchscreen so it seeemed to me like some bug on the game and I tought it was because some incompatiblility issue of the game with ICS. that moment I was testing all the apps I have, until I tested the angry birds I enter the game and for my surprise the touchscreen didn't work on this game, I quited the game and entered the angry birds season....the same problem and finally the angry birds space with same results. the other games i tried were fine. it was some kind of issue with this four games all the rest in the phone were just fine. it was very weird for me so i restarted the phone and again launched "they need to be feed" game, for a moment all went just fine when suddenly again the same problem, so I decided to remove the app and restart again the phone, that was two days ago. when i was playing angry birds again it all go working fine I thought the problem was gone until yesterday when I was playing Angry birds Space and again stop working the touchscreen.
I don't know what is the problem...maybe the hardware? or the latest update of angry birds? maybe other app in conflict? like set cpu? I don't know anymore so please help me because is anoing have to restart the phone everytime....
I tought it was the pinch zoom in the game but when in gallery app all go normal...I don't know anymore please help me

As far as i know, those games didn't compatible enough to ICS. That need to fix is the APP, not PHONE or ROM. So just wait the app dev to fix it.
