in every tutorial i seen and videos, battery was out. so i also did it with battery out. but as i read some did it with battery in.
It turns off the phone, then remove the battery for 5 seconds and put it back and then you test point. I did it and all perfect

I did mine with a paperclip between the testpoint and the casing under the sd card.
Take the card out to be safe

I had experienced this. I observed that when you connect it to a charger it won't charge but when I used to connect it to my laptop it would show charging light. Strange but true.
I was saved. But always flash when battery more than 75%.
use standalone charger or sumthin to put juice into battery

let me tell u something....if a "write" operation is going on on d sdcard, and ur phone runs out of juice, ur sdcard will be fried. i have already done that to 2 cards. (once by accident, and once again just to verify it, i tried again on my very old 1gb card. both died. ) and by dying, i mean it seriously. they could not b recovered using any way, they are just notrecognised at all on any device anymore.

Hi guys,
Just got me a razr xt910 in the uk. So far I'm happy with the hardware. Came from a desire z so the lighter weight and larger screen will take some time to get used to.
About the battery. I get the advantages of having a none removable one. How do you guys do a battery pull? If, for example, something goes funny with a flash, do you just have to wait till the battery dies or os there a long hold power button or something.
Looking forward to playing and flashing.
Cheers.

Hi
Since you cannot pull the battery the workaround is to make a factory cable to keep flashing if battery went off.
Here's a how to

Greetings everyone,
I'm soon going to buy my Sony Xperia S. (wonderful phone by the way)
I was wondering is it safe to update to ICS before the 5 initial calibration charges?
Thanks in advance.
Yes you can, cause same calibration needed after upgrading.

You need to charge it first to 100% with the charger without using it,after that do what you want.

everyone has that.. you can check the temp by downloading any battery monitor.. Best one is GSam batt monitor..
Otherwise dial *#*#4636#*#* and check the batt information..
It is safe till 50-51 c.. If it gets higher than that the phone will automatically switch off !

Hi!
I have trouble with my x10. All was working fine, but somaday it starts to restarting, later(few weeks) it's goes to turning off, and i have to try few times to turn it on back, but now it goes off, and is not working, sometimes after 50x try it will go on and off after 2-3 mins.
X10 is working with flashtool correctly no matter of time. Can i do something with this smartphone or it goes died?
