alarm and notification volume has set to max. i tested it again with head set plugged and removed. immediately the loudness from speaker decreased by half when headset plugged, when I removed the headset while alarm is still playing it returns loudly.
how can i set volume to full from speaker even when headset is on?

Do you mean the speaker that would play music out loud, with no headphones plugged in? When headphones are plugged in, no sound should play through the phones speaker, only through the headphones.

Strange, because my phone kills off all sound from the phone speaker when the headphones are plugged in. No idea then.

Hello
I was wondering if anyone knew how to decrease the volume of the ringing tone when a headset is connected. By ringing tone I mean the sound when hear when you place a call before the call is connected. I have really sensitive ears and it really hurts my ears when I place a call with my headphones connected. Part 2 of my question is, Is it possible to lower the call volume with the rocker all the way to mute/silent? It shows its on the lowest but it's still to loud for my ears. What would be great is lower increments for the system volume (5%) all the way down to 0% or mute.
Also is it possible to have the phone ring through the speaker and headphones or just the speaker during incoming calls when headphones are connected? Maybe a reg tweak perhaps?

Anyone?? I can't believe the only part of the phone that is annoying is the phone part and well maybe the battery live but i can live with that.
Every time I play a sound (example: keyboard press) my speaker makes a slight hiss for a few seconds after (I could only hear it when I put my ear up close)... is my speaker broken??? I think it started when my phone accidentally played nyan cat at the loudest level (really loud)
And also sometimes when I play YouTube videos at the 0 volume I could hear a buzzing noise (goes away when I pause)

On keyboard press you have "sound on keypress" activated, look in keyboard settings.
The fact that is just a hissing sound is because is a quiet audio file, like you would record a mute person, the hissing is some software thing that makes a background noise whenever an audio file is played/called by an action,
be it an empty audio, a silent part on a track..etc, is always present but you can-t always hear it because of the song, call...etc
Is bugging me wen in call and the person i'm talking to is silent,
because i have in-call volume at max, it depends on the drivers of each rom,
some don't have it.
When I've connected my Bluetooth headset (MW600), my notification volumes are lowered automatically by the system. I found the reason that I don't listen to my music at full volume.
Keeping my music volume lower, is it possible to keep my notification tone's volume at max? (My setting is max already and if I disconnect, I have no issues).

Same happens to me when I connect to my car: volume goes down to approx. 70% and yields the volume control to the car. Just use your headset volume keys and forget about the phone.

Thanks for the reply.
Ja, I do that, but when I play the music it blasts out of my ear! Kinda annoying. I never had this issue with my X10 or Arc. I used this same Bluetooth with them!
Whenever I hook my phone up to my car's stereo I turn the phone volume up all the way so that I can keep the car volume at a low level. However, I forget that the media volume is set high so when I go to listen to music the volume almost destroys my ears before I turn it down.
My old phone had it to where the volume goes to a default volume whenever headphones are plugged in. Does this phone have that cause I'm not seeing it. If not, is there an app that does it?

You might wanna check out Audio Manager or Volume Control +. both have sound locking features so the sound wont change unless u are in the app to change the volume. hope this helps
I usually go to sleep listening to music with headset plugged in. Because of that alarm volume is to low to hear and i can't wake up . I know it is a feature to protect the ears. But i want to know if there's any way to route the sound only to the speaker with full volume. It'll be a life saver for me.
Thanks.
