BT mouse work bad in landscape mode - HTC EVO 3D

Hello,
i tried to play Quake with mouse. In portrait mode mouse work great, but in landscape bad. If i move mouse to left then in screen the mouse moves down.
How to solve it, maybe a little program to change the X-axis with Y-axis?

Edit:
Have you tried a different bt mouse ?? Checking the batteries?? Uninstalling and reinstalling the driver/software.

Should be in Q/A FYI.
To answer your question, haven't seen a program that would do that. What ROM/Kernel are you using?

I can't move topic to Q/A.

Not sure. I will try this out when I get home with my BT mouse, don't have one here at work. Will let you know what I find.

Howcome u using bt mouse on stock rom? It does not work for me

The axis change with the rotation of the screen, u need to lock the axis somehow, maybe in the config files to the input device, looks interesting tho, might give this a shot, plus it's cool to see peripheral working on a sense rom.

Axes do not change. They are still in portrait mode.
Mouse work in stock ROM in portrait great, but we don't see cursor.

Nobody have same issue?

On LeeDrOiD 3D same issue.

Mouse working on GTab running VeganTab 5.1.1....but in wrong directions.

I connected my keyboard and mouse to my GTab running VeganTab 5.1.1 and they're working "almost" perfectly. When I use my mouse...the pointer moves in the wrong direction...for example: I move mouse down and the pointer moves to the left...I move mouse to the left and the pointer moves left.
This problem happens on portrait and landscape mode.
Anyone have this problem? Anyone have an idea how to fix this?
Thanks for the help in advance.
There is a fix applied in this ROM for the accelerometer. It flips the mouse directions. There is a patch on the page you downloaded the ROM from that will fix the mouse, but flip the accelerometer. So you get to pick which one you want working.
The VEGAn 5.1.1 post mentions that they fixed the g-sensor to the detriment of the mouse compatability. They give a link to a file which will fix mice but ruin the sensor, I guess.
Darn...on quickly reading the title of this post, I initially thought you got the table to actually "drive" the mouse
Now THAT would be a funny pet project - almost like a little tethered RC car!

Question about the HD Dock

Hey guys, Just had a question about the HD Dock. When I connect mine, it looks as though the area on the phone u can use as a mouse, and it also shows a little keyboard on the bottom right. But when i click that a keyboard doesnt pop up, also when i try to use the phone screen as a mouse nothing happens?? Is there somewhere to enable this? Or does this not work yet?
It should work fine. Try repeating the phone or rebooting.

Clicking on the keyboard does nothing unless you have the cursor in a area where you can type. But i'll be honest, its hard to use since the cable leading to the tv is short. And i have to be in a arkward position to use the onscreen mouse and keyboard

Is there any way you can set it to mirror the TV's display on the Photon's screen instead?
It would have been nice if the dock had the ability to set the phone flat because then the touchpad screen would be easier to use. It's multi-touch so if you're doing something like playing Angry Birds while sitting in your office it's pretty functional if you can get used to the angle.

[Q] Touch screen problems in Browser

The close tab "x" in the stock browser is not working most of the time when in landscape orientation. I have to turn the tablet to portrait orientation to be able to close the tab.
I installed multitouch test apps and they are able to track my fingertips over the entire display perfectly so I don't think it's a hardware issue.
Is anyone else experiencing anything similar?

Do you have it plugged in charging when this occurs?

Yes I do. When I unplug, I am able to close the tabs normally in any orientation. I was testing this when you posted.

Possible to force landscape view without plugging in HDMI?

Hi there - is it possible to force the landscape option without plugging in the HDMI? I have a cradle that has the phone on its side due to the retarded layout of the ports from Sony I'd like not to have to twist my head to read it while it is in the dock....
Are you rooted?
Rotate to landscape, disable auto rotation.

Can be if needed, not needed to so far.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're asking about the landscape mode in the homescreen?
On my arc I remember someone created a theme that had this option in it but I don't know if the same exists for the XS

That is exactly correct - sorry I just realised this isn't clear. All things that are meant to be widescreen work fine (email, Music player etc...). But I feel a bit daft having a portrait phone docked on its side at my desk.
I may be able to help you out, but its a bit of a workaround. I have been playing with the different display modes and noticed the launcher does auto rotate, but only under some weird circumstances.
One that may help you is that if you activate car mode, then hit back until you return to the launcher, the launcher auto rotates.
So, how do you launch car mode? Well, I published this this morning
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vexedbadger.simpletoggles.car_mode_on
Get an NFC sticker from somewhere like rapidnfc.com, code it up to be an Xperia SmartTag (see the accessories forum for details) and have discovery of the tag launch the app "Car Mode On". Stick it to your dock and you are golden.
On a related note, if anyone knows how to activate dock mode programatically, I would be very grateful.

To help with coding up a tag, I wrote this today. I published it about 20 minutes ago

Perhaps the simplest NFC app ever?
If you want to dabble with NFC, its a good place to start.

problem with mouse movement direction after you flip the screen orientation

when you flip the screen the mouse will still act as if the screen was not flipped
so moving left and right is actually done by moving up and down
very confusing please fix this thanks
Yep, mouse movement processing "doesn't flip" with the screen Sure needs fixing

Do you have an issue tracker we could use to report/monitor this issue (and others)?
I think this can't be fixed easily unless some sort of emulation occurs. I mean, our mouses were not made for flippable screen. So we need to change mouse movements according to our orientation.
@modaifallah all that needs to be done is "flipping" the input from mouse to PC respectively to the screen flip. This should be easy to do. I'll see what Jide team thinks about this.
@gcscaglia New feedback system is coming very soon!
