First of all, not sure if I believe you're that attractive AND this much into tech, but more to the point.. I'm only taking a guess here, but you may have to flash the TMobile radio to get simple's 3G. I don't know much about simple but it looks like they have TMobile servers in the mms settings so it would make sense that their 3G is based on TMobile radios.
Jessooca huh? Who's this hottie in a Bugatti lol!
Hey Great thread, I m sure many new ppl will find this helpful So thank You!
As You say point me in the right direction! Well This thread should be in General Section because In Development section, We only post if we have cooked something! Hope this helps! Thnx again!

now my 3g net isnt working only WIFI and I cannot receive picture text messages.
Anyone know what I did wrong?
I did the rogers root!
Before, running on Android 1.6, I have no problem receiving picture messages and MMS on my Xperia x10. After the new software update, including the new Android 2.1 update, I can no longer receive picture messages. i always says "message not downloaded" and when tried to download, It pops up "could not download message, please try again later".

Some of the 2.1 firmware, Generic World, requires the APN to be put in manually.
Try search on APN.

Yes you need to add them yourself then you will get 3G working again (it will show an "H" icon rather than "3G". This is fine. H stands for HSPA+ which is faster than 3G)
what would the apn be for my mms picture messaging?

Hello, i ported a AOKP rom to my device (I've never used AOKP before)
So it is that's why that I'm asking the following:
In the screen, there's always this small white circle following your/my finger, do any of you have this?
So, basically my finger doesn't touch the screen, i have to put the lil circle on the option i want then press the screen.
Is this part of the AOKP? If so, how do i take it off?
Thanks.
Alright well i got my above problem fixed.
Does anyone know how i could possibly fix data connection on aokp?

Thanks for the APN setting details!
Just wondering since there's not many people using the Xperia P on AT&T. Are you using the LT22i or the LT22a version? I have the LT22i and I keep on getting disconnected from the network, and a reboot becomes my only option to reconnect to the network (both calling and data). Pretty annoying, as it happens multiple times a day. Xperia Support told me that it's because my phone isn't made for the AT&T network, but the frequency bands match up so I'm not sure about what they say.

I thought your APN settings fixed it, but once a day (mostly at night) I get disconnected from the network and can't reconnect until I reboot. Oddly, my signal strength is frozen at full strength with the "H" (but no arrows going up or down).
Can I ask what firmware you have? I flashed my LT22i with a generic ICS rom from central europe. I don't know if that'll make any difference. If you have no problems, I'd just like to have basically the same exact phone as you, haha.
Thanks!!!!

I am using these settings, and it still doesn't do anything? Under the APNs, when it shoes the Phone settings, and ATT settings, are they both supposed to have a blue dot to the right of them? only the phone does. And for the ATT settings, The APN enable/disable is highlighted enabled, and not on the phone settings, does this have anything to do with it? Also is it supposed to be on the wcdma/gsm network, or just gsm netowrk? Thank you so much for the help!

Let me see if I can break this down a little simpler.
1. Download goSMS from the play store.
2. Enter AT&T mms info into the app's settings.
3. Prosper.
Edit: credit to beaups for showing me this.
This is what I used to get my MMS and Data to work with AT&T:
AT&T APN Settings
Internet Settings
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: [Leave Blank]
Port: [Leave Blank]
Username: [email protected]
Password: CINGULAR1
These settings I put in goSMS [PlayStore] under MMS settings
MMS Settings
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS Port: 80
This works perfectly for me!
