I was looking at a list of launchers on Wikipedia, and I came across Android Launcher Plus. It looks like a version of the stock Android 2.0 launcher, which IIRC was only seen on the OG Droid. Kind of want to try this launcher just because it was the last version of Android to have the slide-up app drawer. The downloads on their Google Code site is blank. Does anyone happen to have this launcher? Thanks.

Title says it all.
I can't find it on the market, i tried a few .apk downloads but either it would force close or weather doesn't work. I'm using Launcher 7 Donate atm but I'm starting to get bored,
also, anybody knows any launcher thats unique (Doesn't look like regular android like adw or go launcher)
I was just wondering if these applications are ever updated? They don't show up in the Android Market or Samsung Apps and can't be found through searches. There are versions of both applications in the Android Market but the widgets for those don't match.
Also has anyone found alternatives that fit as well, in a similar style or are as well presented?

Beautiful Widgets and HD Widgets should cover the part for your Samsung Weather widget.
There are plenty of widgets around to cover the other part, can't advise you directly on that.
Remember the Itching Thumb launcher for Android? It was a WebOS-esque home screen launcher which could manage all running applicatiobs, in a simple UI. Searching the internet returns the odd dysfunctional APK. Is there an updated/equivalent app which does this reilably on Android 4.4.4 KitKat or similar recent version?
Fancy Switcher and Switchr both have modes that look a bit like that.
I'm preferably looking for a home launcher...

I was preferably looking for a home screen launcher, which would do this, rather than an app which is launched via gestures.(Much like itching thumb) -- Do you know lf any apps which do this?
I've never seen a launcher that does that on Android, but if I'm not mistaken, you can configure Fancy Switcher/Switchr to only activate when your launcher is open.
Thanks
I'll keep on looking, but it is indeed a shame that such an app isn't presently available.
I realize this has been a topic that's been talked about a lot, especially since the LG G5 was release in April, so I apologize in advance. But I couldn't find anything that relates to my problem. This is one thing that continues to blow my mind - I don't have any option for Home and app drawer in my settings.
I've been reading article after article about the LG Smartworld app where you can download the older 4.0 Home and app drawer, however it seems performance is sub-par with it and is buggy on the G5. Also, articles state that LG finally released the UX 5.0 Home and app drawer, so why would I settle for the older version? Here's where this doesn't make sense to me, because it seems like this issue has been solved and done with - but I still don't have this option. There is no "App Updates" selection in Settings > About > Software Update. There is no "Update Center" option in About, which leads me to believe this update is for unbranded, non carrier versions of the G5. I have received one update since I bought the phone and that was just a security patch update; further checking Software Update tells me I'm up to date. I cannot for the life of me understand why I cannot find any information about this. Is AT&T blocking this update or something? AT&T blocked updates for me with my Nexus 6 and I had to perform a factory reset with my SIM removed, set up the phone via WiFi, and instantly received the update. Will I have to do something similar in order to get the UX 5.0 Home and app drawer? This is so frustrating, any insight will be greatly appreciated.
Yeah, I also have no "update center" option on my AT&T device. I run nova launcher but still had 4.0 Home and app Drawer just to have the option. After an update that was said to include UX 5.0 I removed 4.0 only to find there was no 5.0 or app drawer. Like you I look and look baut can not find anyway to obtain UX 5.0 with app drawer. I've re-installed 4.0 and continue to use Nova as it my preferred launcher anyway.
But I would like to know how I can obtain UX5.0 if anyone knows or can share the APK.
Did you figure out anything about the app drawer on AT&T?
I have sprint, but not 5.0 app drawer. My app drawer is 4.80..you could download lg world and look around
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/lgele...elease/smartworld-5-1-2-android-apk-download/
UX 5.0 is the entire SystemUi not a launcher. The stock launcher pre-installed is part of UX 5.0 so if you want the app drawer back you will have to install the LG Smart World app and search for LG Home 4.0 install it and you will get you app drawer back or you can install a 3rd party launcher from the play store which is what I did I never use the stock launcher all because of limited features. I use Action Launcher which is the best launcher I have found so far. You can go here
http://m.androidcentral.com/lg-home-40-available-and-concession-g5-owners and read about what LG did and how to install the LG Home 4.0.

So for example every Chrome shortcut link icon on home screen or contact shortcut gets deleted / is missing after Android Update of my phone. Does any of you guys have an idea what could be going on? Are you using the stock launcher? This happened with the MS launcher for a while.

No, I was asking if you are using the default 1+ launcher, which apparently you are.
I was referring to alternative launchers (home screen) such as Lawnchair, MS, Nova, and others.
looking at the play store reviews ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.oneplus.launcherlooking ) it seems you aren't the only one with issues.
try a different launcher

Thank you for your answer. The link does not work for me... Which launcher do you recommend?
Nova has a huge fan base and is well liked
I haven't used Lawnchair for a while, but it used to be very pixel like
I've been using the MS launcher for several years because I like how it handles the app drawer and home buttons.
Try various ones. If you don't like it just go to settings/default apps, change the Home app back to OnePlus then delete the one you didn't like and try another.
Okay I have recieved an update because phone is not mine, but the owner of the phone already tried changing the launcher to google now launcher. It did not fix an issue. And just to add something to the post the shortcuts are missing after every reboot of the phone and not after updates it was my bad at the first post.
Sorry, of it is happening with the Google launcher and the OnePlus launcher after each reboot try asking in the OnePlus community
