Mate try it on abyss kernel, works for me.

abyss kernel with voodo control or voodo louder?
google play says that my phone is not compatible with voodo louder :/

try voodoo louder first. you have to purchase the app before you can use louder and control.

[Q] Low volume in headset

hello.
i'm on latest wolfbreak v6 with doomlord's kernel v5 unlocked.
My problem is that i have low volume in headset. Is there any way to make it sound louder without running background apps like volume+ which i also feel that looses the quality as i set it at a higher volume?
before this x10 i had an iphone which had a very high volume in headset.
No one?
DSPManager isn't even working.
if i remember well on galaxy i9000 there was an app/driver for audio..voodoo.....which was much better for amplifying sound which was implemented on kernel or something like that.

[Q] Anyway or any app to make the audio loader whilst listening to music ?

Hey All,
Ive just gotten a galaxy 2 and find the music audio far to quiet, ive been using an ipod touch for about a year now and to me that sounds twice as loud as the galaxy. its far to quiet especially when im on the bus and stuff and can still hear the bus whilst listening to music.
Any ov you awesome peeps know how to make it louder ? obviously my phone is turned up to max
Cheers
update to 2.3.5 xxki4 and use poweramp latest beta
Voodoo sound doesn't work for the SGS2?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
What will updating it do? Ive got it rooted, will it wipe my root? If theres a link about how to update a rooted then plesse post so i can understand.
Ive already got the power amp beta but its no louder than what im currently Using. :-(
Thanx for the replies there appreciated
The sound is SUPPOSEDLY louder in 2.3.5 (I personally couldn't notice a difference but I never had a problem with the sound anyways). If you have the poweramp beta why not just turn up the preamp in the eq settings?
I used to use SGS2 Audioboost until it kept my phone locked at 1.2ghz whenever I played music, now I just use poweramp. It supports different eq settings for different songs or whole albums. Really useful for albums that have been recorded with a low audio output

[Q] sound quality in SG Ace

Hi I wonder if there's a way better sound quality for this phone?
Use dsp manager
Sent from Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 using Grif's Cyanogenmod & allinone ram script.
Dont jus say thanks, use d 'THANKS' button. [XDA RULE]
you could try dsp or any equalizers
OK you can't suberbly increase quality since its hardware.but using dsp manager will improve it
sent from my phone and don't forget to hit thanks button if I helped you in any means ......
Do you want better quality through speaker or through headphones. DSP will help you as well as some other equalizers or even the stock 5.1 srs that the phone has. The speaker ain't nothing but a piece of cr... well... It is just below the average!
BTW: If you max your volume while playing music with your speaker it might end up fried (as mine did, it is currently at service center ) ... But I'm not saying this WILL happen... Just a barely might
The problem is that at times there are songs that when played through headphones or speakers are heard as echo or interference, nothing is skipped fragments of the song, the songs on the PC and other phones can be heard perfectly, and tested several and all players is the same result.
forgiveness for my English!
it might also depend on what rom you are using.. i heard that some version of cm7 has poor sound quality.. what ROM are you using now?

[Q] [Help] Louder volume through Bluetooth Headphone.

I've Searched much about it before thinking open a thread, but I got nothing wich could help me.
Is there a way to boost music volume when using BT Headphones ? I'm on android 4.3 ProBam v4.4.2. tried few kernel ( like boeffla to adjust the sound volume but it doesn't seems to affect BT Sound)
Tried also alot of others version and roms 4.2.2 and 4.1.2 still no good.
the mod wich actually boost a little the volume was Viper4Android. but I got just a "little up" from the level I was.
My question is... is there anything I could do to boost the volume up using BT Headphones ?

There is little you can do about bluetooth volume. Unlike Speaker, Wired headphones etc, these are not limited to the kernel. It is limited by the bluetooth module and it is controlled independently. Whetever you have now, is what you're stuck with pretty much.
in DSP manager on AOSP roms, it's possible with a few tweaks to the EQ, you may be able to simulate a louder volume. People advised me to try things with modified DSP managers. Such as MegaBeats. It increased bass, but didnt give more volume.
Yeah, i was kinda exprectin that.
but yet, thank you guys for your help
