[Q] stuck at ADB driver install - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Hi all. I have just bought an xperia mini pro sk17i (firmware .58) and i am trying to root it using this thread indications: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1409269
I am defenitley stuck at point 1: 1. Make sure you have installed adb drivers (If you don't know ADB installation use any of these links LINK 1 , LINK 2 )
I did everything that was written in LINK 1 but no adb driver has been installed. I have currently the device connected to the pc through usb and the device manager of windows 7 is like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I tried to tell windows the driver is in the folder "google usb driver" (i downloaded this archive:www.mediafire.com/?xt1dmy3iz8humgb) but no way ... any help?!?!
EDIT: since the first time i have connected the device to the pc i did not launch PC Companion i re-did everything from the beginning but this time i told the phone to install PC Companion. The result is that now i can see the xperia mini pro in windows'7 device manager like this:
. I hope this is a good sign ...

Driver for Android Phone? USB-Internet-Connection to notebook

Hi there,
just tried the internet for laptop via usb, but sadly without success. The HTC-Sync is installed....
I connect the USB-Cable and activate in Menu/Settings/Wireless/ the Internet via USB (have the German menu, so I dont know what is the exact word for it in English, it is the last entry).
Then Windows Vista comes up with this window:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Driversoftware must be installed... So I press the first entry, recommended, automatic search.
Vista starts the automatic search...
But at the end, Vista does not find the appropiate driver and tells me to put in the driver cd or something like that.
But I do not have any driver CD. The support area of HTC does not offer any download... What can I do?
Please help from anyone! Would be very nice!
Thx!
does the HTC sync connect? If not I would download the newest HTC Sync. It comes with updated drivers and after installing it I was able to use HTC Sync and ADB with my phone
Nope, but found the solution.The appropiate driver can be found manually in
Code:
C:\Program Files\HTC\HTC Driver\Driver Files\Vista_x86
if HTC Sync is installed.
Tricky, as this is not mentioned anywhere.

I have tried to connect my phone on USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, once i connect it on USB 3.0 it shows SEMC device, but when i connect it on USB 2.0 it shows Unknown device or something like that.
Somebody knows how to fix that and if there's even a solvation for this thing? Or Windows 8.1 doesn't accept Sony device in flashmode anymore? Thanks for help! Waiting answers asap! By the way when i connect my phone when it's turned on Windows accepts it fine, i get these errors only when i connect my turned off phone to PC in flashmode to flash it.

[SOLVED] RSA key popup not appearing

Hello there!
I wanted to unlock the bootloader of my phone (Lenovo Zuk Z2 Plus), but the my phone is not being recognised as an ADB device in the CMD. I have installed the following drivers:
1. ADB Setup v1.4.2
2. Samsung-Usb-Driver-v1.5.45.0
3. Zuk USB Driver 1.0.8
The developer options have been unlocked and I have enabled USB Debugging. The RSA popup appeared right away on my HTC and Samsung phones, but is not appearing only on my Zuk Z2.
I tried doing the following things:
1. Reinstalling drivers
2. Deleting C:\Users\<username>\.android folder
3. Formatted my phone.
The phone is being shown under two categories, one being "Portable Devices->ZUK Z2132" and the other being 'ShenQi ADB Device->ShenQi Composite ADB Interface" in device manager.
Any help would be appreciated.

The problem has been solved. I used the below toolkit and was lucky enough to get the RSA popup.

After flashing a custom ROM, I'm able to get the popup.

I've tried updating the drivers with "android_winusb.inf" and it doesn't work either.
ADB and Fastboot are 2 completely different softwares, hence require different drivers. To get Fastboot work install the Samsung Android USB Driver suitable to your device.
Samsung Android USB Drivers for Windows (Latest: v1.7.59)
Download latest Samsung Android USB Drivers for Galaxy mobile phones/tablets to transfer files and flash firmware using Odin. Compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, and XP computers.
