I've tried updating the drivers with "android_winusb.inf" and it doesn't work either.
ADB and Fastboot are 2 completely different softwares, hence require different drivers. To get Fastboot work install the Samsung Android USB Driver suitable to your device.
Samsung Android USB Drivers for Windows (Latest: v1.7.59)
Download latest Samsung Android USB Drivers for Galaxy mobile phones/tablets to transfer files and flash firmware using Odin. Compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, and XP computers.

Hi all. I have just bought an xperia mini pro sk17i (firmware .58) and i am trying to root it using this thread indications: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1409269
I am defenitley stuck at point 1: 1. Make sure you have installed adb drivers (If you don't know ADB installation use any of these links LINK 1 , LINK 2 )
I did everything that was written in LINK 1 but no adb driver has been installed. I have currently the device connected to the pc through usb and the device manager of windows 7 is like this:

}
I tried to tell windows the driver is in the folder "google usb driver" (i downloaded this archive:www.mediafire.com/?xt1dmy3iz8humgb) but no way ... any help?!?!
EDIT: since the first time i have connected the device to the pc i did not launch PC Companion i re-did everything from the beginning but this time i told the phone to install PC Companion. The result is that now i can see the xperia mini pro in windows'7 device manager like this:
. I hope this is a good sign ...

any 1 please help me !
I would try a couple things 1. uninstall the drivers for your phone on the pc then re-install them WITHOUT plugging in your phone first, windows drivers can cause issues. 2. Try connecting with USB debugging enabled on the phone 3. Try a different USB port or the original cord the phone came with some cords don't work with Kies. 4. If it still doesn't work check the Galaxy S 3 forum(make sure you have the right one there are different ones for different carriers.) I'm sure your not the only one with this issue and an answer could be in your phones forum.
First of all, I'm not sure if that's the right forum - if not, please advise.
I'm about to go crazy about this.
I can't get my computer recognize my Nexus 4 (which is running CyanogenMod 13, Android 6.0.1).
The phone doesn't show anything when I connect it to PC (it just says 'charging slowly'). However, the PC does show the following error: Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)

}
I've trying almost everything:
Uninstall the device driver (from Device Manager) and reconnect the phone again
Restart phone and PC
Try different USB cable / port
Try different computer
Download latest Google USB Driver and try to update the driver with the error (which resulted in "your driver is up-to-date message")
Connect the phone in recovery mode and bootloader mode
Connect the phone in recovery mode with MTP enabled (via TWRP recovery)
My PC is running Windows 10.
Please help me out!
Hello there!
I wanted to unlock the bootloader of my phone (Lenovo Zuk Z2 Plus), but the my phone is not being recognised as an ADB device in the CMD. I have installed the following drivers:
1. ADB Setup v1.4.2
2. Samsung-Usb-Driver-v1.5.45.0
3. Zuk USB Driver 1.0.8
The developer options have been unlocked and I have enabled USB Debugging. The RSA popup appeared right away on my HTC and Samsung phones, but is not appearing only on my Zuk Z2.
I tried doing the following things:
1. Reinstalling drivers
2. Deleting C:\Users\<username>\.android folder
3. Formatted my phone.
The phone is being shown under two categories, one being "Portable Devices->ZUK Z2132" and the other being 'ShenQi ADB Device->ShenQi Composite ADB Interface" in device manager.
Any help would be appreciated.

The problem has been solved. I used the below toolkit and was lucky enough to get the RSA popup.

After flashing a custom ROM, I'm able to get the popup.
Hi guys,
I have this android radio called Orbsmart Hifipad which is showing "no command" error and is unable to boot into system.
I want to get to recovery to make a factory reset - problem is that this device has just one power button. On the back, there is one reset button and then one button without description (on the left, next to miniusb). I tried pressing it and also holding it without any effect.

My second approach was to use adb command to get to recovery. I managed to modify universal google driver, so I can see "Android Composite ADB Interface" in device manager, but adb does not see any devices. I think the reason is that I have USB debugging turned off and I can not turn it on now obviously.
Can someone help me? I tried also contacting this Orbsmart company, but they dont reply on any of my emails.
Are the drivers for the thing all right? May the thing be in conflict with any device on the computer?
drivers should be fine. icon in device manager shows no exclamation marks or any other errors.
