I also tried this [SOLUTION] Samsung Mobile MTP Device -- CODE 10 error at Devicemanager but this solution was on win7 can any help me to do any thing more to solve it on win xp sp3

any 1 please help me !

I would try a couple things 1. uninstall the drivers for your phone on the pc then re-install them WITHOUT plugging in your phone first, windows drivers can cause issues. 2. Try connecting with USB debugging enabled on the phone 3. Try a different USB port or the original cord the phone came with some cords don't work with Kies. 4. If it still doesn't work check the Galaxy S 3 forum(make sure you have the right one there are different ones for different carriers.) I'm sure your not the only one with this issue and an answer could be in your phones forum.

[Q] Phone won't connect to PC - FIXED

Hello, any idea what could be causing this?
When I try to connect my SGS3 to pc, I get this:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
But when I try to connect my fathers sgs3, I get this:
Could it be a motherboard problem? I took my phone to warranty and they said they found no problems on the USB port, and installed new firmware or something. (Also they changed my headphone jack because it was also faulty)
The phone charges fine using USB.
Thanks.
E: The phone still gets "Hardware id is missing" error but meh.
Fixed!
What I did:
1) Went to device manager and uninstalled all the USB controllers/drivers that had a error sign on them
2) Disabled windows automatic driver install (not sure if necessary)
3) Used another usb port, one behind my computer
4) Bam, it works.
I've been 3 months without able to use USB on my phone now, even took it to warranty.
Feels quite great man.

Somebody knows how to fix that and if there's even a solvation for this thing? Or Windows 8.1 doesn't accept Sony device in flashmode anymore? Thanks for help! Waiting answers asap! By the way when i connect my phone when it's turned on Windows accepts it fine, i get these errors only when i connect my turned off phone to PC in flashmode to flash it.

Install Samsung Kies and it will install the drivers you need. If you have other Samsung drivers installed, then uninstall them, reboot your PC, then install Kies. If you have done this, and no connection still, then try different cable, USB port, or PC.

i have installed samsung usb driver, now i must uninstall this driver and installing KIES?
Well, you either don't have the correct driver or it's one of the other things I mentioned. Gotta practice the process of elimination when troubleshooting. I find it helps to have the Device Manager open connecting your device so you can see if the drivers load correctly.

Device descriptor request failed (Code 45)

First of all, I'm not sure if that's the right forum - if not, please advise.
I'm about to go crazy about this.
I can't get my computer recognize my Nexus 4 (which is running CyanogenMod 13, Android 6.0.1).
The phone doesn't show anything when I connect it to PC (it just says 'charging slowly'). However, the PC does show the following error: Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)

"lightbox_next": "Next",

I've trying almost everything:
Uninstall the device driver (from Device Manager) and reconnect the phone again
Restart phone and PC
Try different USB cable / port
Try different computer
Download latest Google USB Driver and try to update the driver with the error (which resulted in "your driver is up-to-date message")
Connect the phone in recovery mode and bootloader mode
Connect the phone in recovery mode with MTP enabled (via TWRP recovery)
My PC is running Windows 10.
Please help me out!

I've tried updating the drivers with "android_winusb.inf" and it doesn't work either.
ADB and Fastboot are 2 completely different softwares, hence require different drivers. To get Fastboot work install the Samsung Android USB Driver suitable to your device.
