U.S. Cellular's variant (Model SCH-R760) is the same as Sprint's Epic 4G Touch, but without the integrated WiMax radio. All other specifications remain the same.
So, the correct forum is this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1281

I made a guide for this model on androidforums:
Unlock and Root Bell (i9100M) S2
Good luck!
I think this thread is in the wrong forum.
Why is this in Original Android Development!? Last I checked, this is a question and not development.

Hello!
My wife has a rooted GS 2 with the stock ROM from TMO. I am concerned that the new OTA (T989VUVKL1)might break her root functionality, repeated update notification, or cause her phone to no longer work. Does anyone know the app I need to freeze to stop the OTA from happening? At some point I will want to upgrade the ROM to the newest one assuming I can keep root access. Thank you for all your help and support!
click SETTINGS/ABOUT PHONE/SOFTWARE UPDATE and uncheck the boxes
Thank you for the quick reply. I don't see that option. After I click on "about phone" there are no such options....
I think I found it... I believe the APK is syncmldm.apk. I will test tonight.

You really should be in a different forum. Your wife's phone is a SGH-T989, which is the T-Mobile branded version of the GS2. The forum we're in now is for the GT-I9100, which is the unbranded international version of the GS2. Same phone in name (Galaxy S2) only. Different phones = slight differences in UI/options.
The forum for the T-Mobile GS2 is here.

Hi Guys,
Brand new Galaxy S3 user here and I've just Rooted my phone and I'm searching around on which ROM to flash. Only issue is that I have no idea which version I need in terms of ROM. I know when rooting my phone I followed a different guideline and I don't want to fubar up my phone. I'm with Rogers and I know I followed a US/Canadian guide...
When looking on the get.cm website I saw this
d2usc
Samsung Galaxy S III (US Cell)
which seems to be the closest thing to me but I just want to be sure.
Thanks,
This is International I9300 forum flashing firmware from here may brick another model .

What is the exact model number of your phone? (can be found in settings->about device)
SGH-I747M
I've found the SlimBean ROM for my phone but even that took a while to hunt down.
I tried searching on get.cm but I've found that it never actually gives me my provider (Rogers).

So here is the right forum for your phone
You, kind sir, are a god among men.
I have no idea how I didn't see that before.
Is this possible? I've been digging Odin files for this phone, but all lead to GSM technology S II. Not Sprint...
Is that the problem with this phone?
Yes, its possible. If you were foolish enough to flash an i9100 firmware or kernel to an SPH-D710.
Edit: BTW. You're in the wrong forum for your device. You REALLY want to be in the correct forum for your device, which is http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1281.
Thanks, that's all I needed to know.
Hi..
guyz i have korean motorolla atrix mb860 korean and i want to root and install custom rom on it..there are alot of useful threads about rooting ,bootloader unlocking but in every thread they mention they we must first check whether our phone belongs to AT&T or BELL..
But cant understand this coz my phone is from KT network..
2nd thing is what is pudding...can somebody explain me...and much appreciated if someone give me specific instructions about korean atrix rooting and bootloader unlocking..right now im 2.2.2 version S/W version is OLSKT_U4_1.14.0...thanx to all
Actually it's not AT&T or Bell, where did you see that?
It's AT&T or any other, ie. international.
Pudding is an unlockable bootloader. Please use search and read relevant threads for more details, as well as for all the instructions you need. It's all here, just need to search and read.

What do you think? Is a korean device AT&T (therefore USA) or international?
Use Google Maps if you're unsure.
