[Q] Titan II GSM/3G Toggle - HTC Titan

Hello. I have new Titan II and GSM/3G SIM inside but in the "settings - cellular" haven't any toggle of GSM/3G mode. It is normal ? Phone is unlocked. How can I switch between this mods ?

Now I think that this problem has arisen on the demo firmware. Please share the OEM firmware for the Titan II, or suggest possible to restore the backup of OEM firmware on a demo phone?

Galaxy S2 Winmax Android

Hy. I have some quoestions about my phone S2 Winmax
First - Can i use an S2 LTE HD ron to install on my phone?
Second - Can anyone help me to unlock it? It is locked on KDDI Japan. I have searched on many sites and found something, but they are asking for IMEI, and on my phone i have MEID. But the phone has a slot for sim card.
Third - If i can unlock it can i use it on a Gsm network? I know that the phone is CDMA and GSM.
Thanks in advance
1. I would stay away from flashing roms until the phone is understood more and developers start making roms for it.
2. unfortunately you need to search for an pnline company that supports the wimacx versions. You could explain the situation and they mayber able to help you unlock the phone.
3. Yes, depending on what bands the phone supports, you may need to gfo with bell or telus as they have support for cdma/gsm phones.

Help with SIM lock!

Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 by Three Mobile UK. I had got it unlocked from a nearby cellphone shop. It was running perfectly until now on Indian GSM network with original unrooted rom 2.3 gingerbread. But today I flashed Neatrom lite onto it and it is asking me to input the SIM lock code.
I have tried all the apps on market to get the code but all in vain. So please tell if there is a method to bypass this lock as I have a rooted phone.
Sent from my LT26ii using xda app-developers app
Be aware that using sim unlock apps can corrupt your IMEI. Backup your efs folder.
Regarding the SIM lock - flash the correct stock ROM for your region (check region code i.e. i9100DBTLPO is germany).

S6 Edge probably unlocked by former owner change stock rom

I used to have an unbranded S6 Edge after selling it I missed it so much so I got a secondhand one yesterday. After factory reset, the first thing it did was install all kinds of Vodafone apps. As a TMobile user with a Tmobile Simcard I guess the Phone has been unlocked by the former owner. Or can Vodafone do this and still have all the apps installed?
I would like to flash the unbranded Dutch stock rom on in but in case the former owner did sim unlock it would I loose the sim unlock then? Is there a way to tell the Phone has been software unlocked or through the carrier?
Rght now it has Baseband G925FXXU4DPIT and MMB29K.G925FXXU4DPJG Buildnummer
And I would like to flash PDA:G925FXXU4DPJH CSC:G925FPHN4DPJE
Thanks in advance,

Flashing a stock ROM should not lose the sim lock. Network lock isn't done by software flashing. It's done with the imei. You should be able to flash any stock ROM including branded firmware and you won't lose the unlocked network

newbie needing help with Samsung S7 , SM-G891A to convert to SM-G891T

I bought and unlocked Galaxy S7 to get service on Tmobile network and the phone works fine but is an AT&T phone with
all the accompanying bloatware. I am in a bad cellular area for tmobile and depend on wifi calling as the signal is very weak.
The wifi calling on my purchased phone is grayed out which i found out through forums that AT&T has something to do with this.
I decided to root my phone and load firmware to Tmobile but have only found the process and firmware SM-G930T and not SM-G891T. The phone currently has SM-G891A, which is AT&T 's firmware. Baseband version G891AUCS4DRK1. I haven't been to find the right firmware for my phone. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Are you sure you didn't confuse device version with firmware version? SM-G891A
Is not a firmware, it's your phone model, which is of course galaxy S7.
But anyway, there is not Tmobile firmware for that model. Only 930T as you said.maybe could be possible to port the rom.
Can I use the firmware for the sm-g930t on the sm- g891a

I wouldn't recommend to flash it yet. Processors should be the same, as well as the screen size, for flash a different rom.

All the components are the same except for the battery size, hardened case and shatter proof screen

If battery isn't the same, power consumption could burn the phone.

S9+ Model SM-G965U need help flashing T-mobile to Sprint

My Baseband version is G96USQS7DTE1 with a Carrier configuration 2.3900001 It is on T-mobile but I want to move it to Altice Mobile. I was told the easiest way is to flash it to the Sprint Firmware first. How do I do this?
you probably just have the wrong csc. if the phones paid off why doesn't the carrier handle it?

Why not just try installing a sim card from Atlantic Mobile. When I purchased my S9 plus it was for T-mobile.. After installing the Sprint Sim and having it activated, it turned into a Sprint phone.. Even the T-Mobile, splash screen was replaced with the Sprint Splash Screen.. No need to root or even flash Sprint firmware.
