Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 by Three Mobile UK. I had got it unlocked from a nearby cellphone shop. It was running perfectly until now on Indian GSM network with original unrooted rom 2.3 gingerbread. But today I flashed Neatrom lite onto it and it is asking me to input the SIM lock code.
I have tried all the apps on market to get the code but all in vain. So please tell if there is a method to bypass this lock as I have a rooted phone.

Be aware that using sim unlock apps can corrupt your IMEI. Backup your efs folder.
Regarding the SIM lock - flash the correct stock ROM for your region (check region code i.e. i9100DBTLPO is germany).

Not work
I've tried friend but unfortunately did not work. I suspect that the phone is not locked but for some other reason is not working with other carriers. Could it be somehow related to the frequency band? Please help me! hugs
Carrier requires the correct APN settings to be put in the phone for that mobile network .
Auto network APN is via CSC and that is a list of local networks and their settings .
Either enter settings manually or try a different CSC .
Stock Roms .and csc

Modems can also be changed but you should check is Brazil on its own non international network .

GT-I9100 is a global phone, so it's not the frequency.

I will get shot down for this, but use this app: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846451
As person above said, it has been answered many times, so use the search function!
Next time you ask a question with no obvious attempt at searching, you won't get help from me.
I had the same problem with the leaked version..i was unable to unlock it directly with galax s sim unlock so i had to restore for Gingerbread root unlock it and then do a backup of efs folder..save it anywhere on your sd card..then flash it..and should be unlocked and if the problem continues restore your backup from efs..and your done

Hi All,
I have a Galaxy S2 which is SIM locked to the '3' network in the UK. I have contacted the carrier and they have provided me with an unlock code. However, when I am prompted to insert the code when I put in a different SIM card the code is rejected. I've also tried running the GalaxySimUnlock app which also came up with the same code that I got from my carrier.
My phone was originally updated to stock ICS but I then flashed it to CM 9 and then MIUI. I initially tried the sim unlock with MIUI running. I've now returned the phone to the stock 3 image - it's currently running 4.1.2 baseband I9100NELS1.
Has anyone had this problem before or can you shed some light on what is going wrong - I thought if I contacted the carrier this would be simple!
Many thanks,
Steve
Make your PC's network is sold. You have tried many software unlocking by noon?
Hi duykhanh187,
I'm not sure quite what you mean! I have contacted my carrier and have got what they believe to be a good unlock code but it is not working.
Thank you for your reply,
Steve

Hi Steve,
I've seen the same problem before as well, so I've very keen to see if
XDA-D have a suggestion to help solve this issue.
Good luck,
Tink!
So, I have Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and I've been using it on one network, now I moved it to another network and it asks for SIM network unlock.
Since I can't get my unlock pin from provider for another two months and can't wait, can I just use firmware for my new provider (their firmware is available over at sammobile) and get my phone unlocked for that network.
Or is there a official "open europe" or similar firmware that I can use and have my network unlocked?
No you have to pay for it like everybody else

You have to order the unlock code man. Nothing else you can do.
hi.. just wanna ask a simple question. my sister from u.s gave me her note 8 here in the philippines. the phone is open line already, and any sim here in the philippines can be use. i'm planning to update it with android pie using odin. now my question is, does flashing CSC will make my phone lock again to its original network provider? or it will stay open to any sim here in the philippines?
