HOw do i create it or check it ?

Judging by your response I'll assume your technical knowledge (and ability to search and read) is pretty low, so just use the file manager of your choice.

Sound at boot is a sound file type OGG for ICS or WAV for GB located in System/Etc as POWERON file .

JJEgan told you what you needed to know...
/system/etc/PowerOn.ogg
So rename your .ogg file to PowerOn.ogg, and put in in /system/etc.
Though, some custom ROMs don't appear to support boot sounds. Since you say you're on 4.0.4, I have to assume you're on a custom ROM, since Samsung has only released up to 4.0.3 in terms of Samsung stock firmwares.
Thx for ur advice
I follow exact the same as u guys advise but its not working
From the very beginning, it has no boot sound at all after i rooted and flashed. Would that differ the settings?

Not from me. I don't recommend ROMs, because that always leads to a "what's the best ROM" debate, which usually ends up getting the thread locked.
(refer to this)
If you want a guarantee that boot sound will work, then flash back to stock.
Might be worth converting to OGG rather than renaming . Might be worth reading the faq for whatever rom you use.

I don't think he's talking about broken English, exactly. More the insistence of some members to type "English" (some call it "text talk") like:
u = you
ur = your (or sometimes you're)
wat = what
don = don't
2 = to (or sometimes too)
wrk = work
eva = ever
abt = about
neva = never
wiv = with
kno = know
and so on, and so forth.
I personally find this really irritating, (but nonetheless, I can still generally read it) and I know that many other members who can manage to decipher it feel much the same way... but to many non-native English speakers, it makes it especially hard. Plus, it makes it so the bulk of posts that are comprised of such nonsense will not run through Google Translate, so any non-English speakers who don't speak or read any English at all, REALLY won't understand.
So even though people who post in such a manner may be trying to be helpful, it sometimes ends up being counter-productive.
Edit to add: This is just my opinion, by the way... I'm not trying to flame, or say that Sun90 wasn't being helpful - he was, and he by far is NOT the worst perpetrator I've seen doing "text talk"; I'm just saying that some don't seem to consider how difficult it can be for non-English speakers when they post using "text talk" or use abbreviations, or even slang that could be common to a specific country or region.

method of root to wave S8500

Android 4.0.4 ICS on samsung wave I S8500 ROOTED
Its been hardly a week now Android on Samsung wave 1 S8500 is Rooted
yes you heard me, its ROOTED, that means more functionality from your Samsung wave phone.
thanks to xda Devs they have created a new zImage for your android
The touch calibration has been made, so the left part of your screen which was facing touch issues is resolved now.
Steps
1) Copy and replace this zImage in your phone memory with this one here >> http://data.hu/get/5295695/zImage (Use the “Lassú letöltés” button in mid page to download).
2) use unlocktroot tool to root your wave >> http://www.unlockroot.com
3) Download unlockroot tool from above link and install
4) Connect ur android on samsung wave to pc, make sure usb debugging is on
5) Click on root
6) it will ask to install a driver, click on install driver anyway , the second option (in win 7)
7) Wait for root to complete
3) Done

everything is ok but cant overclock more than 1gzh....
It seems that the overclock possibilities depend on the programm you choose (due to processor recognition I would say).
So try several programms. If it still doesn't work try to change the device name to GT-I9000 Galaxy S.
ok, but are you sure is it "GT-I9000 Galaxy S" ? becouse i read build.prop of Froyo(previous wavedroid) and here is write only "GT-I9000", so i rewrite this, but some apps don't work still(quadrant benchmark works, Tegrak overclocking don't work). Have you another idea?

No your right it is "GT-I9000". I should have had a "," between. I said Galaxy S only to inform.
Anyway maybe those apps doesn't work also on galaxy S, do they ?
To overclock there is also the possibility to modify kernel, but I don't know how to do that, maybe we can take the setting from the old overclocked kernel and apply them in the new one ?
yes, yes, i agreed, but i too shor to do this, maybe wavedroid team made some magic for us noobs (not everybody, just me)

I did that but it doesnt work , Also I flashed the superuser in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=997581
It always says superuser deny the apps.
Also regaridng battery I see you mention that it stays for only 5 hours , it stays with me for 20 hours with regular conditions & I am using battery deffender.
If I have any other comments I will mention it but we must root it
Again thanks for the good job
This rom is already pre-rooted no need to flash any thing as we generally do in stock roms.......
I think you have flashed some superuser.....so i think you need to re- flash the rom-(***do make a clean rom flash asper rom developer***)
Now after rom instal just instal root explorer......
Now as soon as u open root explorer a menu popup will apear it is just like superuser pop up ...(only the diffrence is this pop up will apear for 20sec...and contains so many warning message all u need to click next every time) (****refer attached images ****)
After this step you can see root folder .....
For every application which asks for root permission. U need to do this .....

I have a question abour RAM as most of time it works with 100MB free only ( can we make any thing with that )
Finally Thanks to jyeshta001 for his replay.
Thanks to nom051205 for the rom and we hope to see further development

Use rom tool box pro / a strong startup manager so that u can control unwanted application running form the begining for startup.....
For head set one use a wedget called "toggle to head set" from playstore.
For lagness use any CPU tool like set CPU and set frequency as "1xx to 1xxx " and the governor to "on demand" (but drains battery)
For button lights "root dim " aPK. Will help u to some extend ......
For random colours on screen we will have to w8 "Nom bro" will bring a patch ....soon .....

[Q] Permenantley disable/remove wifi

I'm a newbie in need of some help.
What I'm after is a way to permanently disable or remove wifi access from the s3 in a way that will stick even after a factory reset.
I'd like to stay as close to stock as possible.
I have found "completely-remove-wifi-from-android-rom-including-settings-layout" on stackoverflow which seems ideal but I suppose will require atleast compiling the kernel which will require some expert (or at least detailed) advice.
So far I've managed a quick and dirty solution intentionally recreating an issue people who edited wpa_supplicant.conf ran into by changing some file permissions setting in init.rc, but it seems less than ideal.
Your input is very welcome.

I just about managed to unpack and repack boot.img I suppose its possible to remove all the wifi related stuff from the init scripts, not sure if it'll get a different result than what I've done so far.

Well after a false start using a guide on how to preroot an sII which resulted in a brick (for some reason the s3 couldn't mount the repakced system.img) I've managed to use dsixda's guide and android kitchen.
So display wise - removing the wifi files from /etc/permissions seems to remove wifi from the settings layout. but its still available from the kies via wifi and probably other places.
Functionality wise removing the wifi files from /etc/wifi does stop it from functioning.
So its a success, still I would appreciate any tips on making it less crude and any pointers on making a regular rom rather than an update zip.

Where can I find FSC script to flash .111

I don't know where to find an FSC script to flash .111 since flashtool keeps telling me that "Flash script is mandatory. Closing session". I don't know if I can't just take one from F33XX or if I'll brick my device. Flashtool doesnt provide a default.fsc file, itr only provides "F32XX.properties". And if doesn't exist, how can I make it by myself ?

It seems like you have to use an older version of flash tool where it won't ask for fsc.

I just downgraded my phone to .111 using the latest Flashtool. I went to Users/.flashtool and copied the default fsc of the F31XX to the F32XX folder, renaming it to the build version, something like "F3212_36.0.B.1.111.fsc". Flashtool then asked me if I wanted to use it during the flash, I answered yes. Now my phone is fully working, rooted and xposed on .111, till now everything is working fine, even the front camera focus

Hope you have finally found the way to it, otherwise I'd like to tell how I did this.
First, in Windows, open file explorer and click on c:/ go to users and double click on your user name to open.
Once there go to .flashtools and navigate till you find the folder devices, open it and go to the foder corresponding to the name of your device, in this case I assume it musst be F32XX, open it and see if the is a file named F3213_(version of the room).fsc without the brackets.
If there is not you can goback to the devices folder and open the folder corresponding to F3211 and find a file named F3211_(version of a rom).fsc, if so just copy it into the folder corresponding to your device making sure your rename it with F3213_(version of the rom).fsc.
Finally just flash your rom with flashtools, at the beginning of the process it will ask you if you waant to use the fsc file found, just click on yes and the process will begin and end successfully.
I worked for me.
Hope you find it useful.
