Hey all, sorry if there is a thread already for this, I did search, but there were a fair few results.
Anyway, since updating my phone to ICS (LPQ) the phone no longer works for more than 20 minutes when connected to my car stereo via bluetooth. After around 20 minutes, the phone just restarts. This is very annoying as shortly before i upgraded I had only just bought the stereo for this exact purpose, and also bought a dedicated sat nav app.
I have since updated again to LP7 hoping it would fix the issue however the issue is still present.
I have done a reset to factory defaults, which made no difference, has any one experienced this issue, and found a fix?

Hello everyone. I recently changed the broken digitalizer of my Atrix, after a couple of months of no use. Before the phone went useless, my sister was using it, and she told me that the sound was failing (like she didn't hear the other person in calls, no music or any sound trhu speaker or headphones). I couldn't see what was the problem since the digitalizer was too damaged to test anything. Now that I found an original touchscreen need to solve this issue.
I was on Neutrino 3.02 when this happened, since then I've tried factory reset trhu cwm, reinstalling the rom and now i'm on Epinter's CM10.1 and still doesn't work. Could this be hardware problems? For what I know the speaker is connected to the motherboard directly and I assume that is not attached to the earphone or headphones jack in any way, so how could this be hardware related?
NOTES:
-The volume buttons does not work, the flex is broken. Not sure if it is relevant but just in case.
-I've searched in Google and the forums, and could not find any info nor anybody with the same problem.
-Before switching to CM 10.1 I formated the /system partition.
-Still remains to test bluetooth sound, but i'm having problems with wifi and bluetooth since I dissasembled the phone, so after I fix this I will test it an update the post.
-I've been learning and taking roms from xda for a long time, but I just made an account and this is my first post here so Hi! :highfive:
-If you didn't notice I'm a non-native english speaker so.. yeah I suck at this lol.
UPDATE: I fixed the wireless thing and tested the bluetooth sound. Works great...
Hi all,
As above I have a very strange issue that, oddly, I have only noticed happening since I recently got a new SIM card, although I'm not sure they are related.
Anyway, my phone seems to restart itself, often multiple times, and seems to take forever to finally reach the home screen (stuck on samsung logo for a while)... It seems related to when I try to do something related to bluetooth or wifi.
For example I noticed it 3 times in 2 days when stopping at motorway service stations and disconnecting from my car bluetooth kit. It also seems to happen when disconnecting from a wifi network, but not always.
Very strange and I have had this phone since release day with no issues until now.
Hope someone can help or offer some advice, otherwise I'll be forced to try a factory reset
Thanks in advance!
Vodafone online chat suggest taking it into store to be checked... Not sure how well that will go considering the issue is intermittent, but will see how it goes
Recently my LG V10 T-mobile model received its sweet marshmallow update. Unfortunately I have noticed that the headphone jack is now causing some bugs on my device. Doing a reboot on my device with a pair of headphones connected will freeze the phone on the LG boot screen. Unfortunately the only way I have found to resolve the issue is remove the battery and headphones and then it boots up just fine. Occasionally I have plugged in the headphones when the screen is off and then try to wake it and encounter another frozen device.
This has been just annoying enough to me that I did a factory reset thinking maybe the drivers may have been messed up in the upgrade process? Sadly the problem still persists. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I am a confident rooter/rom flasher but was enjoying the extra T-mobile benefits in the official build. Any suggestions guys?
This is a problem since about 2 weeks after updating to 6.0. Takes four to five restarts to unfreeze. I've uninstalled TuneIn app and DacFix but it doesn't seem to be a cause. I also cleared cache and data in multiple apps related to audio.
Resetting to factory settings was going to be my next step.
There is a thread on reddit around the same issue, but no solutions yet, just reports from others.
My V10 basically bricked itself a few days after the update. I believe I had my headphones plugged in as well. Neither recovery nor download mode worked properly. I managed to boot it in a freezer tho. Shipping it back today.
Ive started having crackling sounds with Bluetooth Anyone else having those issues? unrooted Vs990 running marshmallow, Nova beta
If there is one thing that has seriously troubled me with this phone it is the bluetooth performance. About every 2-3 months mine seems to degrade. It gets to the point where if any other data signal is happening (running another app, email downloading in the background, etc) while I'm streaming music over bluetooth it cuts out, stutters, crackles, etc. This even occurs if my music is on my SD card and not coming over a data connection.
If I do a factory reset it completely clears it up and I have no issues for about 2 months, at which point the degrading starts again and within a month gets so bad again I have to do another factory reset.
I have the same issue... Extremely frustrating as I use bluetooth headphones and speakers and both have the same problem.
I actually have zero BT issues with this phone. I had to get rid of my n6 due to BT problems so i understand the frustration but i seem to ne free of this. I use BT all day every day
After doing some research I came across a small blurb in reddit where someone fixed a Samsung with a similar problem. Followed the rabbit hole to battery optimization and it seems to fixed my problems. Here's my posted solution. http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v10/help/marshmallow-blue-tooth-problems-solved-t3409943/page1
Anyone else's watch decide it's not going to stay connected to the phone anymore? I can connect, but it disconnects within a minute or two. Sometimes going to the menu reconnects it, but it doesn't last long. I tried FDR, clearing all the cache on the phone I could, verified the phone works. No dice.
I had the same problem occur after I upgraded to AW2 and the only thing that fixed it was to manually downgrade to AW 1.5 otherwise the watch was unuseable due to the constant disconnect and reconnect requests.
Interesting. I've been on AW2 for a while and didn't have the issue till that day. My phone has upgraded to Oreo but that was also a while before this. Maybe there was a Wear update that caused it. The radios still work as it does connect, but like you said it's constantly being dropped.
I do notice similar behavior with a BT thermometer I have. I can't use my Nexus 5X with it since once I close the phone the connection is lost. Maybe there's a Doze issue with it. I should try connecting the watch to my Nexus 5 and see if it has the same issues.
I have literally been dealing with this same issue for weeks now, I posted in multiple threads about it. I also narrowed it down to doze (same exact issue). However I was already running wear 1.5 when it started happening. Formatted phone (Nexus 6P with oreo) and watch, still doesn't work, tried all kinds of settings, nothing. If you figure something out please let me know. Ill post here if I do.
Same issue. Moto Z2 Play and Zenwatch 2 with AW 2.
Have only had the Z2 Play for a month and had no issues, until this week. Intermittent pairing requests and the watch falls off of the phone's Bluetooth list, while remaining in the Android Wear app.
Maddening.
Will rooting and reverting the watch to AW 1.5 solve this?
