Can anyone confirm if the orientation of skymaps is fixed in the latest soak?
TIA

I think so. It seems to be working properly for me now... and it wasn't the last time I tried to use it prior to this update.
Can you confirm build? I tried 412, and still broken. Went back to froyo in the meantime.
EDIT: VZW OTA 2.3.5 418, fixed it... finally

It seems every other ROM I use has a market issue, even on stock 2.3.4 its telling me I have no apps on my account. Anyone else having these issues? Has anyone found a solution?

Eclipse 1.3 it works fine for me, but if I go back to stock 2.3.4 it shows no apps plus it won't update them either but will show them as installed.

Mine did this at first on eclipse 1.3 but after a week or 2 they finally started to show up.

Same exact prob here. When I contacted google they said I must be running a custom rom. Thing is it works fine with eclipse. My stock moto rom is when it doesn't work the prob.

I have had this issue for 4 months. Back and forth with Google "support", they are trying to blame it on root access. Basically, no fix. I finally installed Eclipse because I was tired of using a combination of ChangeLogDroid and Appbrain to get updates.
Eclipse fixes it. I think the original issue was caused by Titanium Backup messing up the Market DB.
The real problem is once the damage is done even if you're on a non-rooted stock rom it stays broken. While going back and forth with Google support I SBF'd back to stock and it still didn't fix anything.

I did use titanium backup before it happened. Is it messing something up on the phone or Google servers? After a sbf everything should be stock. Right? Seems like a server or account issue. I created another google account and it works fine. I really just want to go back to stock but can't. Very frustrating!

Anyone tried installing market 3.4.4?
It's in our themes/apps section
No problems at all for me on that version
Also.
It isn't just the x2 with this problem.
This is all over xda all types of devices
I tried to do the market fix. It didn't help.

3.4.4 is the only one giving me a problem. If I install another version it just automatically updates itself back to 3.4.4

Where can I find the latest updates to AT&T stock rom(s) to sgs 2.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using xda premium
It came shipped with it...
I don't believe AT&T has released any updates since day 1.
They released 2.3.6. But if your on 2.3.4 I'd sick with that till ICS. From what I've read 2.3.6 ota breaks more than it fixed. If you want 2.3.6 go for a custom rom based off of it.

2.3.6 can be hit or miss. I upgraded and I'm stock+root. I have not experienced the issues others have mentioned. Your mileage may vary though.
I just got mine and it came with 2.3.4. it doesn't think that it needs an update.
Got another one for my daughter and it also came with 2.3.4 but it immediately saw and installed the 2.3.6 update. did they pull the update?

I think they usually push it out in phases/regions. However with the battery issue it seems to have introduced it wouldn't surprise me if they pulled it.

So I'm on the leaked .84 build of ICS. If/when the OTA update comes next week, what will I have to do? Will it prompt me to update? Will I have to roll back to stock Gingerbread to get it (and if so, how do I do that)?

You'd have to return to completely stock. Fastboot back to .181.

You are off the upgrade path so you'll need to use one of the unstuck methods to move to the ota version. Or wait for fast boot files. You cannot just flash back to gb. That will soft brick your device.

Follow the instructions in that thread.

i wouldn't count on the OTA coming next week.
I would never "COUNT" on an OTA coming out

I don't know why you are still on 84 but once the ota drops you are going to have to use the same method we used to get off of 84 to get you flashed forward to the ota. Might as well flash 211 today to get familiar w it. You can't do anything else w 84 anyway,

I have question about the orientation sensor in CM7 beta2. I tried it a month or so ago, just before vzw 2.3.5 OTA came out. The orientation sensor was flipped east west in skymaps and compass. Just like it was in the vzw 2.3.4 OTA.
Apparently the vzw 2.3.5 OTA fixed the orientation sensor. So I sbf'd and flashed the 2.3.5 OTA.
If I sbf and flash cm7 beta 2 again will the orientation sensor still work or will it be back to east/west flipped.
TIA

In order to flash Cyanogenmod 7.2 RC1 for the X2 you need to be on 2.3.4, so no.

I believe you'll have the API from 2.3.4. I don't see why going up to 2.3.5, then back down to 2.3.4, should leave the 2.3.5 API.
Every since I flashed the latest OTA update, my GPS will no longer lock on. It was suggested that I re-flash the OTA, but I want to re-download it, to make sure I have a good version. Can anyone point me in the right direction for the 4.1.2 OTA?
I believe i still have the leak version its blur version 6.something.zip. Is that what you're looking for?

I'm looking for the OTA that came out in May....I believe.
I just received a replacement Razr from Asurion because my gps would not work. As to stock, get matt's utility jb version to flash back to stock. It's available in the development folder on xda for the Razr. Hope this helps...
