[Q] Wifi becomes slow when enabled for a few hours - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
when my wifi is enabled for a couple of hours it gradually becomes slower and slower. When I disable and enable it I have full speed again. Currently I am using the stock samsung rom but I also had this problem when I was using the F1 rom.

My phone of late has been playing up with the battery...from a full charge and five minutes of use it drops to less than 60%!
73% is taken by Android system, I've been running on an old miui ROM for a few months..usage screenshot below if anyone can spit the culprit?

Might be a battery or kernel problem. Have you tried any recent kernel to see if it performs better?
No I've been using same kernel for a few Weeks without problem...just happened in last couple of days!

You can use the app easy tether (lite.) Works darn well. However rooting your phone doesn't automatically give you the hacked hotspot.

Use this tethering app http://db.tt/n7W44WJv, and in the settings set the device profile go EVO 3d, enable routing fix and mss clamping and it should work for you.
Also sometimes it just takes a while for windows to connect properly/get rid of the triangle, not sure why it takes so long.

Try going into wifi settings, then advanced settings, and uncheck "Best Wi-Fi Performance"
check out this thread.

Enable power saving with Llama?

Everything is in the title I guess... I would like to tell llama to enable or disable the power saving setting according to the battery level or charging status, but I can't find how to do it... maybe using the custom intent designer included in the app?
Thank you in advance for your help!

better off e-mailing the app dev
Maybe, but the app ils already offering advanced feature like that, but I don't know how to use it, since I don't know the package name or anything else about this setting in the GS3... (the power saving switch)

It's related to wanam but to repair it You need to delete feature.xml from system/csc and rename feature.xml.bak to feature.xml and reboot. It was mentioned few sites ago by me.
