Rom with better battery performance or battery tips - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

Do not have much experience with the galaxy ace roms, so I would ask those who already know the other roms for the existing model because I'm using the Cooper CyanogenMod 7.2.0 RC1, but I'm not satisfied with the battery consumption of it, for to enable wifi or mobile data network consumption is absurd. What is the best rom to have an adequate intake? Since we do not use the phone for games except ninja fruit and angry birds.
If you have any tips to improve consumption, without the basic features off when not using, I thank you.

For best battery, switch to stock DDKQ8

are you often with no signal ? i also had several battery drain in CM7.2 FAT till i found it was due to low signal. now whenever i'm in a place with no signal i just turn on the airplane mod. the phone has been unplugged 4 hours and just consumed 5% battery witch otherwise would be 60% or something around

The biggest battery drainers in order:
-screen. So lower brightness.
-3g/2g switching and downloading. If bad reception, try sticking with 2g (more than enough for messaging, not enough for browsing). Also a firewall to keep apps you don't want from sending/receiving data.
-WiFi. Music (even on headphones) and other interactive apps (games and such)
Also, stock roms yield better battery at the cost of performance (cm based roms are more powerful usually). Ddkq8 has given me the best battery out of all stocks for my everyday use (3g all day, some browsing, lots of whatsapp and music, no games)

HTC Hero Rom with Best Battery

Hey guys, just wanted to know which rom has the best battery life for the HTC Hero. Screw everything else! Actually speed could be a factor.. but I really just need a battery life that will last me forever. Thanks guys
Our phones are known to be exactly great on battery life, i am using elelinux-7.1.0-Hero-v2.6 rom, which is great on battery.. i can last about a day without using apps, just calls and texting... texting i can do unlimited, as it does not take a lot of battery, i have overclocked my phone to 691mhz and it varries betweem 576mhz on interactive and when the phone is off it varies between 352mhz and 576 mhz on smartass. user the HeroKernel elelinux has provided
Elelinux Speedmachine works very well for me. Great battery (well, 'great' for the hero). Speedmachine is also faster/smoother than GB.
If you want your battery to last...do you turn things off like sync, mobile data, wifi? Unless you really need to know if someone emails you or facebooks you i'd turn these off when you're putting the phone in your pocket. With speedmachine and GB's cyanogen mod settings you can put on the notification bar widget. i recommed using this with sync, mob data, wifi etc just for ease of switching them on/off.
mind, what works for one doesnt work for all. experiment.
It'd say VR13 or Cronos Gingerbread.
It's best to try a few for yourself since everyone has different user habits.

[Q] Need Help for less battery back up

I have an almost new HTC HD2. I am testing various ROMs and radios to find the reason for why is my HD2 going through battery so quick.
At this point I am with HD2O v18 ROM and 2.15.50 radio. This is the best combo for me so far in terms of battery use. On standby its very less battery life .This all seems to much to me.but I like to use AmeriCanAndroid .
I also sometimes boot AmeriCanAndroid from SD card, and there it's even worse. 60mA on standby and 120-140 on everything off but auto screen brightness.
I have done so many thing to increase the battery life .Use various Auto task killer apps , keep brightness at lowest level ,removed every unnecessary app from mobile, not used GPS & GPRS . but still this all could not worked for me...
I want to use Android man ... What should i do to solve this problem ? Please help me guys

[Q] Recommendation for a stable battery saving rom

Hi!
I used my P500 for some months with CyanogenMmat, which is really great but sometimes produced screen freezes.
Now I'm giving my phone to a technically less skilled person. To make sure this person enjoys the phone as much as I did, I want to install an adequate rom for her.
In my opinion this means, the rom should be really stable and guarantee long battery life. Also it wouldn't hurt if the rom was quite up2date, but that's not the main issue.
Can you recommend me a rom?
Thank you very much in advance!

Hi,
I recommend you to give her the phone with rooted official GB because according to my experience, I believe that official one is the best for technically less skilled person and I also suggest you to install Player pro for best experience of music with its inbuilt 5 band equalizer and you may also use DSP pack but I think it will hard for her to adjust the 10 band equalizer..
Also suggest you to use flash player 11 for stock rom to enjoy online games and videos.. Search the XDA for the thread..
And no doubt that battery backup is good on stock roms. You can also use Juice defender app for enhancing the battery life.
If she use Stock rom definitely she will not face any problem with wifi, usb, 2G,3G or any thing else.
Press THANKS If I helped you.!!!
In my oppinion best stable is nightly4e and franco #4 kernel both combinations do extremly good job of preserving battery life
I am now using RESURRECTION 1.5, stock based and smooth so far
Both the wife and I are running oxygen with franco-4 and the wifes a junkie . Meaning phones always in her hand ... Making calls, texts, searching the net ,fb, playing smurfs and other games 75% of a day and she has never had any real problems other than a FC once or twice a week but phone always lasts her from 6:30 am till about 11pm. With her heavy use
Blackbird v1.2-beta 1
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
my opinion
old bb
mik cm7 6.5.8 + fserve gl(latest) + min480 max 710 + freeze/uninstall maps,facebook,tweeter + gps off when not in use + always 2g when not surfing the net...
new bb
nightly four e v4.6 + min480 max 710+ freeze/uninstall maps, facebook, twitter + gps off when not in use + always 2g when not surfing the net...
i cannot suggest what are the best battery friendly kernel between the new ones(fk 4,roqxiii,ta 1.1,etc...) i think all of them are performance oriented

Rom recommendation for a trip

Hello,
I'm planning going on a trip soon, and I would like to use my i9300 as my main navigation device (both on roads and out in the field). Because of that I'm looking for a rom (or rom-kernal combination) that we'll have good battery life, functioning GPS and good internet reception. So far I've tried several roms from the website (all CM based), but suffered from severe battery drain.
Can you please reccomand on a simple, battery saving rom for my purposes?
Thank you very much!!

We can't discuss ROMs here, but with any kernel that comes with an configuration app you can change the voltage, CPU governors and I/O schedulers, enable or disable zram (obviously depending on the kernel)
On xda there's a topic that shows the differences between CPU governors. Also you can try changing it yourself. They will determinate how much battery your device will eat while active. Obs: zram can give you better memory management, compensating the lack of physical RAM but will DRAIN your battery (like seriously, without zram I have +5h on my battery - low/normal usage)
@mk010: I recommend NCS-ROM: all sensors work optimally, no surprises in unknown environment. For long battery live try (in BoefflaConfigApp) governor zzmoove /profile battery plus.

Which ROM for best performance & battery life?

Hi everyone,
I'm currently ussing the back-to-n00t v9 ROM (KitKat) together with Boeffla Kernel for a pretty long time. It was good at the beginning, although the rom had a few bugs (like the mobile data button not working sometimes and roaming mode disabling when disabling data causing roaming warnings). But for some time already, I'm getting kinda frustrated. The phone likes to lag sometimes, like when going out of some app to the home screen and everything loads again causing a terrible lag, or all the apps close in the background. Also many times when I want to unlock the phone I have to wait a few seconds because nothing works (can't draw the pattern). I'm looking for some simple ROM (not any Marshmallow stuff etc, I want to maintain stability and performance). I'd love to get some better performance, without lagging and having problems with the keyboard (like it's not showing because of low RAM or stuff like that). I'd also like to get some good battery life althought this isn't that of a priority because I have 2 batteries.
I don't want to flash Cyanogenmod because I want to keep the TouchWiz camera and stuff.
Which ROM would you suggest me? I saw some website recommending Revolutionary S5, although I don't like the idea of trying to make an old phone like the some new model, they claim it's super smooth and optimised. Is that true? I don't want to waste any more RAM because of some ****ty features from S5 that I'll never use.
Thanks in advance! Hope you can help me.
same here, I use RR + boeffla but it is sucking one and half battery a day, inactivity battery consume is the same as Whatsapp I use a lot, it seems to be active when not active.
Same problem with Lineage 14.1
Best ROM for me was a stock rooted ROM with unnecessary apps disabled.
