Im a pretty novice Vibrant user. I have flashed bionix fusion final onto my phone right now and i really like it. I just read that Tmobile should have the Froyo update by next friday and was wondering if i will be able to get that update. When i got my phone i rooted it but still ran the stock rom but was unable to download the ji6 update, it just froze on the galaxy screen. Can someone help??
If your on a custom rom they do not support ota's you'll have to odin back to stock to get the ota

Just had a quick question, I'm kinda new here. I currently have a rooted Epic w/ the leaked 2.2 version that came out a few weeks back. *Supposedly* sammy will be releasing the OFFICIAL 2.2 on 12/26, so I was thinking of going back to the stock 2.1 (it seemed to be a lot faster and less buggy) until the official 2.2 comes out. Are there any drawbacks to this? Will I lose any of my apps that I currently have installed? Can someone point me in the right direction for how to go about doing this? I imagine there's probably a thread or two hanging out there somewhere about this. Thanks.
Bump...anything? Would be a great xmas present.
You should have backed up your original ROM in recovery before you flashed 2.2.
Cool story bro
Hey guys,
New android user, new to the scene. This forum has been very helpful to me so far. I just rooted for the first time 2 mins ago.
Now a question. I see that a new 2.2.1 Froyo rom is out, and If possible I'd like to try it, but only if I can dual boot with the stock version I have now.
Is this possible? If so, could someone provided detailed (I'm learning) instructions? My phone is already rooted.
I did try to search but can't find the answer. I am about to root my new replacement TB. My old phone was rooted and running the stock rom from the original rooting thread. So my question is in the last flash of rooting do you have to use the rom in the thread or can you go straight to bamf or whatever? Thanks
Once your rooted you can go to any Rom you want. Some want you to use a certain radio though.
ROM
Im using Eaton ROM 1.5.3 with MR2.5 radio...check it out it is a great build...
Yeah, hey guys! I've been doing research on how to update the software on my Droid X2. But it seems too complicated and I don't want to do the wrong thing. The Android has 2.3.5 on it so I know I have to SBF to 2.3.4 but I don't know how to do that. So can anybody direct me to how do this. And then on how to actually get the CM10 Alpha 3 4.1.2!
Okay, I finally got it back to 2.3.4 guys. So now can somebody direct me on how to upgrade to CM10 Alpha 3 4.1.2?
