Does anyone know a Rom that supports the adaptors. I've tried a few with no joy. Any help would be great

ICS stock rom works. Make sure you use a working hdmi cable.
Don't know if you can flash the stock Rom straight from phone. If you can do you have a link?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
You can using mobile Odin.
Download from sammobile.com or checkfus downloader
if you have rooted and CWM installed, you can flash ROM from phone otherwise you have to use ODIN
link for CWM ICS stock rom :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1292825
Cheers zac downloading now so we'll see if this works

awaiting your feedback, I am also interested in MHL adaptor, but not available in local market here, if this works on stock ICS probebly it might work on all the official based ICS roms too.
Yesterday I tried my own made OTG cable on my ICS XWLP9 / siyah kernel. Keybord, Mouse and flash drives working like a charm.....donno this will work on the stock kernel. on GB it was not working..
Tried it and failed. Still not working. A lot of the roms say mhl not working. Thought about going back to a gingerbread rom but alot of the links are down. Back to the drawing board
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
did not make backup??? or you have only tried stock unrooted ROMs from ODIN.
there are GB downloads available...
You're doing something wrong, MHL works fine on stock ICS ROMs.
My phone is rooted. I put the wanam Rom on that u posted the link for but when i plug it in i still get a blank screen on my tv
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
it means, you need a pure stock.. flashed from ODIN..??
if you are looking for GB to go back, there are GB versions too in Wanams list..
I've got wanamlite ROM and siyah latest kernel. I'm using bought on Ebay adapter and hdmi cable plugged into my monitor.
Dice player for video and angry birds space for fun - both works fine on big screen

I recently upgraded to Ics via kies on the there network.
Even though I am impressed I would like to go back to GB.
Is this possible to do using kies
Thanks

Hmm don't think so...
Never miss mind something about downgrade via Kies...
So only way is using Odin and flash a gb-stock-firmware...
Or u flash a kernel from here, wipe all, then flash a Rom...
CHEERS ;-)

No you cant downgrade by Kies. Use a custom rom or manually downgrade.
How do i manually downgrade ? .

um
Check for Odin tut here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278
And choose a gb firmware...

No way via kies, learn Odin as sahibunlimited said and flash it, it won't take more than half hour to learn Odin and flash

Hey you are from x10 section
Remember me?
I didn't read your name when i was on mobile
Yeah i remember you mate. You was on the face book page alot aswell if i am not wrong . was on x10 section for quite a while now loving my s2 but everything seemed straight forward on the x10 where as here there seems to be so many different variables to have to check before flashing anything .

Hi i have a rooted galaxy tab 10.1 3g p7500 bought in europe greece.
I want to ask whats the right kernel to flash for overclock. I have tryied everything in this forum and doesnt seem to be the right for my tab. In the photo i send is the characteristics of my tablet. I have 2 friends facing the same problem... Please help, Thank you in advance.

I think pershoot's kernel is the best for the tab. His kernel can be found on the developing forum. Note that his latest kernel is for ics. You need the kernel from January 9th for HC 3.2

Thanks for the responce! You mean this. boot-cm_2636.4_p4_ux_hc32-oc-xtra-vfpv3-d16_fp-010912.zip. I have tried this man but when i flash it i get a rolling screen when the tab starts up... Maybe i do something wrong in the procedure. Any other advice?
Sent from my GT-P7500 using XDA Premium HD app
Hello Kosta. I have exactly the same tab, bought from Greece, and had no problem flashing anything. Are you sure you have the HC kernel and not the ics one? In the screenshot I noticed that you have stock HC, so I presume that apart from the kernel and cwm the rest of the tab is stock.

Thanks panos. I have rooted the device with the 2 files in the picture below. I dont have the knowlege if i have ics or hc.but I think i have hc.
Can you explain to me what to do or what you are running in your device so i do exactly the same. If you can do it with steps i would love it. I am new and maybe i do some silly mistake.
Thanks in advance..

The kernel you said you used is the right one for our tabs. Maybe the rolling problem is from cwm. Take a look here:

I am writing this from a gtab 7500 3g bought in greece running the above referred pershoot s oc kernel Definitely works! Your problem is due to CWM version. I propose to go thru reading the relevant threads and you ll manage to oc your gtab. Worked great for me!

Try this: droidbasement.com/db-blog/?p=2655
It worked for me. And it is the only recovery you can use to flash ics nightlies, if you wish, without any problem.

Factory reset, total wipe, flash stock rom with odin, root, flash cwm, flash the Pershoot kernel I already told you. Everything you need to know is in the 2 threads already mentioned.
I am trying it and report back.
Sent from my GT-P7500 using XDA Premium HD app
ok i did all the above but when i flashed pershoot kernel mentioned i got again the rolling screen. but this time when i push power button to sleep and then again to wake all work fine. is there a way to fix this other than flashing us stock firmware as i read in a post?
By the way i oc 1400 and all goes well!!! If there is a fix i would apreciate it...
Any of you oc tabs have the same issue with lockscreen fix?

It's been well documented on here that in order for wifi to work on AOSP ROM's you need to flash an ICS ROM first then go back so im downloading Omega 13.1 now but my question is do i have to actually be connected to wifi when flashing the ICS ROM or can i just have it enabled and do i need to flash using Odin or can i use CWM,i then want to go back to Liquid Jellybean, can someone please post the necessary steps i need to take.
Cheers
I went straight from LI8 to liquid 2.0 Rc3 and wifi works just fine.

oh really, ok i was under the impression that i had to flash an ICS ROM first, i tried wifi tethering on Liquid Jelly Bean and it wont work but it works fine with Dragon 1.7 ROM
Haven't used wifi tethering but that may be a rom issue.

HI all!
I am at a loss here. I have searched and searched for a solution to my problem but to no avail!
Basically I have flashed CM10 on my S3 and also have Clockwork Mod recovery, I would like to go back to the stock rom with touchwiz ui on top. I have found guides online on how to flash stock roms using odin but I have a Mac and do not have access to a PC. I really need some guidance with this as cm10 is annoying me at this point and I would just prefer to go back to stock/out of the box rom. P.S. I did not back up my phone when flashing cm10.
Many thanks,
Dave
Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 international version bought from vodafone ireland if that is relevant

Hi, I've been trying to update my Gingerbread I900 for a whole day now, but it's have been full with problems.
It all started when I tried to flash a CWM recovery for JB with Odin, that it made it so each time I tried to turn it on, the boot screen appeared, and then it turned off again, along with a triangle warning sign.
Now, I've tried everything I've found on the web, which caused a bootloop, which I solved by flashing Siyah kernel, but now I'm back at square one, where the bootscreen appears, and then it turns off.
Can anyone give me a hand?
Flash stock firmware with Odin to upgrade/fix. Or do you want custom rom?

I was thinking on using CyanogenMod 11, but at this point, I just want the phone to work, regardless of rom.
If I was you I would want custom stock rom installed. Cm is OK but eats battery compered to stock. Some custom stock roms have the cm/aokp look so you get the look but battery is still good. What do you want?
Easy fix is flash stock firmware from sammobile.com with Odin and that should sort it out and get it working.

OK, found one of my carrier, but I don't know where to put it (PDA, CSC, etc)
The file is called I9100UHMS8_I9100CHEMS3_I9100UHMS1_HOME.tar.md5, and it came in the zip file CHE-I9100UHMS8-20130503103606.
Do you know where should I put the file?
