I had my Evo 3D flashed to pageplus last week, I noticed all these new ICS roms with everything working. If I flash one of the ICS roms(or any other rom for that matter) will I have to have my phone reflashed to pageplus or is there someway to backup all the current pageplus settings myself and then when I flash the rom just go in and restore them? Please help. I am rooted HTC unlock method with HBOOT 1.50

I didn't yet I'm on stock sprint with root. I had my phone flashed to pageplus (a differnt carrier) and i need to know if I flash a ROM will I have to take it back to pageplus to be reflashed to their network.

Hello,
I am trying to get viperROM to work correctly on my Evo 3D. I would have posted in that thread but I don't have 10 posts yet so I'm not allowed...
I wasn't thinking and I accepted the OTA update when it came out.
So I used this tutorial and did the HTC unlock and then flashed CWM 4.0.1.4 to my phone.
I used CWM to back up my stock ROM, then I used it to install viperROM.
Well, it worked except for the fact that the WiFi wouldn't turn on. It just said "Error".
I have been reading these forums for hours now and my eyes are glazing over but I figure it's something to do with the radio I guess?
I tried to do some forum searches but the search function is apparently down for nightly maintenance.
Anyways, I restored my backup and thank God WiFi is working again.
Can someone please point me in the right direction to fixing this?

Did you do a full wipe before you installed viperRom?
I don't believe you can use Viperrom on your phone because it is a 2.3.3 rom and your kernel is only for 2.3.4 roms. When you took the OTA and your phone upgraded to the 1.50 bootloader you lost the ability to install kernels and write to the boot partition. With out the proper kernel you will have problems running any 2.3.3 roms properly. Look for a rom that is already upgraded to 2.3.4 and give that a try. For now I would flash back to stock and wait for Viperboy to update his rom.

Yes, I did both of the wipes that it prompted before installing it.

you can go to www.scottsroms.com in the download section he has all the stock releases.
Can I flash RUUblahbklahblah.zip like a rom or is RUU specifically Bootloader?

Hey guys, I just recently rooted a buddy of mines Optimus T from T-Mobile using Gingerbreak. Everything went fine until I try loading a custom ROM. while on a custom ROM he gets no service at all but when I nandroid back to his orginal unrooted stock ROM his service returns. My guess would be that the custom rom you are trying to flash requires a different baseband than the one currently on the phone. Given that you are using the Optimus T, you must be using the old baseband. If you are trying to flash one of the recent custom roms, you probably need to flash the new baseband. How-to:

Wanted to know if anyone else here has an optus Evo 3D, which is unable to achieve S-Off, and what ROM they are using as i want to switch without the hassle of being stuck in a bootloop and restoring and trying all the other roms available.
Currently on the Nonsense Rom v3.1, however would prefer a sense rom

You could always either flash the boot.img in fastboot or use 4Ext recovery which supports s-on devices.

When i flash any type rom other then a Sense rom i have no 3g and get call falure when making calls. If i flash back to sense rom the calls and Data work fine. I have tried CM rom and Pac man rom and no go. When i install i wipe the system and data partition as well as the cach then install the rom and gapps. Have not ran into this before. It sounds like you need to upgrade your radios.

HBoot 1.2!?
It is cdma. I tried updating the radio and i was wrong the HBoot is 1.4. I do appreciate all the help!
You will need to upgrade your radios to run PAC man or cm10.
