I just wanted to know if I can use Samsung Galaxy S2 CSC to change the region of my galaxy tab.
And do I flash it via Odin? Thanks.
Sent from my super powered calculator.
No,
you can flash a firmware for a specific region, and then Samsung think you are in,
e.g. North America
you can download Firmwares here

or should i say.. can I flash an EU i9100 rom on a Bell i9100m?
will I get an i9100 model number?
just to make sure it's supported by android market on my laptop Chrome.
THX!
Yes, I'm using Bell GT-i9100M, flashed Hong Kong Rom (for chinese input) and SIM unlocked, it shows Samsung Galaxy SII i9100 (instead of i9100M) on start up screen, everything works fine.
Any GSII could be flashed with any region firmware. No problem

Not the chinese ones that don't support EU firmwares and vice-versa and korean ones which are different models (SW, MW, etc)
Hi guys,
I am wondering if it is possible to flash just the PDA of a firmware from another region than the original one that pre installed in my Gallaxy SII and flash the same CSC as it was in the beginning or just keep it unchanged and the same to the phone/modem??
Is it true that changing the CSC may alter the connection settings and parameters between my Galaxy SII and the service provider?
What does modem version or phone do ?
i have samsung galaxy s3 i9300, so i went on sammobile and i found that there are 2 firmwares for my phone, the only difference is that the one firmware is VIM and the other MBM, can someone explain to me what is the difference? and another question if i flash the firmware from sammobile, my phone will not be rooted anymore right?
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (SM-T800). I currently have CyanogenMod 12 installed, but i want to go back to my stock firmware.
when i search my device on the SamMobile firmware site, it gives a bunch of firmwares for different countries, but it does not give one for the United States, where i am living
Does it matter which firmware i use? Will i still receive OTA updates if i choose a random firmware?

Does it matter which firmware i use? - it does, don't flash wrong firmware, or you will soft-brick your tablet
if you still have orginal box or receipt, it should says something like this;
PDA: T800XXU1ANH1
CSC: T800UVS1ANG2
MODEM: T800XXU1ANH1
Notice the H1, G2, H1 at ends....which defines which country code region tablet belongs to..
Just give you an idea, for example my Galaxy TabPro 8.4 WiFI has "T320UEU1ANG1", which I bought it here in USA (bestbuy), and if I check sammobile, it shows as Cellular south, so means that's my offical firmware for my tablet that come with it.
So in your case, I believe yours is T800XXU1ANK1

It's in the title of this thread ! ^^
"How can I change the CSC of my wifi P610 xsg version to some other CSC in order to recieve the 3.1 update"
As there is no specific section for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, users are posting some times in this section and some other times into the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e section... ^^

Sick. Now that that's solved, I want to do the same thing to my T-Mobile S6 LTE SM-T867U. I imagine that'll involve changing the CSC, or can I just flash one of the international LTE Firmwares?
EDIT: I'm not drunk.
