Hi guys,
I am wondering if it is possible to flash just the PDA of a firmware from another region than the original one that pre installed in my Gallaxy SII and flash the same CSC as it was in the beginning or just keep it unchanged and the same to the phone/modem??
Is it true that changing the CSC may alter the connection settings and parameters between my Galaxy SII and the service provider?
What does modem version or phone do ?

Hi, just wondering can i use older csc with new firmware while flashing to my phone. Can it create some issues. I'll be flashing new KI4 firmware available to europe only while I need Indian CSC.
If CSC works now then its ok its only local network settings and rarely changes .

I just wanted to know if I can use Samsung Galaxy S2 CSC to change the region of my galaxy tab.
And do I flash it via Odin? Thanks.
Sent from my super powered calculator.
No,
you can flash a firmware for a specific region, and then Samsung think you are in,
e.g. North America
you can download Firmwares here
Hi, I live in Romania and after I bought a Samsung Galaxy S2 I had the unpleasant surprise to see the phone has a Italian firmware (3Mobile.it - ICS 4.0.3) and CSC - HUI. The phone is unlocked and my Orange SIM works fine but can't change the CSC code .. only HUI is available. The question is if I want to flash the phone with an ORO - Orange firmware witch has ICS 4.0.4 will I encounter problems afterwards? Will the phone be locked on Orange?
You can flash firmware for any region you like. However, you may not be able to get OTA updates when they're released for your region anymore due to the different CSC. Simple solution to that is to flash future updates manually with Odin like many people here do anyways (you can always get the latest firmwares for country/carrier with Checkfus).
I have been unable to detect the CSC of my Tab S3 LDU before flashing it. There's nothing in Software information or Discovery and the DRParser doesn't respond to the *#1234# code at all.
I have a SM-T820 LDU which still runs Android 7.0 and I'd like to flash it to Samsung's Android 9 firmware for this model, but I don't want to brick my device.
1) Is it safe to flash a new firmware if its CSC and geographic region is different than the current one? (Flashing a UK firmware over a German one, for example.)
2) If this is asking for trouble, what way might I figure out the CSC of my current firmware other than the methods listed above?
