Hello!
I'm starting this new thread because something weird happened yersterday in my phone: after successfully flashing a new stock ROM (KWKS9 for Spain) I got this message every time I enter in recovery mode: "--Appling Muti-CSC-- multicsc: opera mini[lib] reset. Applied the CSC-code 'VDB'". It's the first time something like this appears in my phone.
Has anybody suffered the same issue?
Thank you and have a great day!

But, do you know why is it happening now and not sometimes before? May be because I didn't have my SIM inserted while flashing the stock ROM?
Thank you for your answers guys!

Can you get the phone into download mode?
If you can, then download this firmware and flash it with Odin.

It seems firmware issue.... but i dont know how you could fix it. May be trying to flash from odin mode ( start from the beginning)
are you using a custom kernel???
rebooting is quite often caused due to it

Hello all,
My SGS2 (I9100) does not start at all. There is no live in it at all, no vibration, nothing in the screen. Also not able to start download mode or recovery mode.
I tried several batteries, and also without a battery.
The strange thing is that the battery is loaded (I can use it in a different SGS2 and when it is empty, I can re-load it in this broken SGS2, and re-use it in the other SSG2)...
How can I further troubleshoot this?
Regards,
Stephan
Did it happen all of a sudden??

No, I was in the process of flashing the FW via ODIN to CWM. During the automatically initiated reboot, the device didn't start anymore.

Thanks for your replies guys!
I have tried the second and thrid option in the "no download mode" section, but these 2 don't work. I don't have a USB-jig so cannot try that one, but as it is stated there isn't much hope that works.
Any ideas left?
Regards,
Stephan
U should try a jig ...costs just $5 ..

OK, I have ordered one. Hope it arrives within a week or so. I'll let you know the outcome. But in the meantime, every idea is welcome!

Hi guys, i'm trying to restore my S3 to stock so I can sell it, however after trying to use Odin around 5 times to install stock frimware, I either end up in a boot loop or constant boot-up. I've tried 3 different versions of Odin and still no luck. It passes every time.
Any idea's anyone? I did notice I only ever have one file to put into Odin, which is a PDA compatible file, none of the others. I'm not sure if this is just due to bad downloads or what.
Any ideas anyone?

Failed on odin
Failed in Odin? Click the link in my signature and follow that.
Just a hint, if you want to get help, you need to give us something to go on.
What have you tried to fix it already? What is the current status of the phone? Ie, does it boot, or can you only access recovery or download mode? 'failed on Odin' could mean anything.

Don't have to call me 'sir', I'm just an ordinary bloke like you LP7 is not specific to any country. So it will work with philippines too. To find the firmware you should flash, search on Samfirmware.com for the correct phone model, country, and carrier you're on. Then, flash it in Odin. If it fails again, click the link in my signature and then follow those for troubleshooting steps. There's no "magic fix", it'll take some effort on your part.
