Upgrade vom Ressurection Remix 1.8 to 1.8.1 - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I updated my SGS2 from Ressurection Remix 1.8 to 1.8.1, I also did all the wipes.
Is it normal that it says Mod Version 1.8 and not 1.8.1?

thanx, but I have read a lot but didn't find an answer for this.
@kilometers4:
I have found a video on youtube, it's an android-tablet with 1.8 and on 4:29 it says 1.8.1! Why is that?

Idk. What model do you have?
You can try to reflash it since its a non wipe.
And don't worry too much. I hear west is coming out with 1.9 in a day or two

Minimal Matte on Legend?

Hey guys I tried to install Minimal Matte on my Legend but I didn't know how to...
There's even a "Legend Version" downloadable (I'd share the link but I can't since I'm a new member... The thread is named Minimal Matte 1.5 8/3)
Please, can someone explain me how to install that ?
and yes, my legend is rooted.
Thank You
Flash it like a Rom.

Where to download BAMF Nightlies

In the remix thread it was mentioned that there are nightlies available now. Where can I find them?
Also, ROM Manager is telling me the rom (I'm running BAMF Remix 1.6.1) isn't in rom manager whereas the thread also states that it is.

1.6.1 is not a ROM, it is a patch, look in the AddOn section.

yeh i know but the file manager was not working and there were many issues apart from that and the OP has not updated it so i decided to port it
DO this, AND DO IT! take libhardware_legacy.so from a cm7 nexus one working rom and swap it into this port (lewa rom) and tell me how it goes
Wifi issue can be something related to wifi module or wpa_supplicant config file (located in /system/etc/wifi). Give a shot.
Btw, if this rom is cm7 based, you can try using some different kernel, like tiamat.

If you followed all the steps properly, It cannot be any errors except for apps/base ROM's error.

Well, for starters, this has still got the memory leakage bug, so it's basically the same as previous releases.

Install any Gingerbread based Samsung rom, not Jelly Bean !
Boot for the first time. Then go to recovery, do wipe and install CM10.
If you noticed, the first nightly was the 19th june.

[Q] Stock Kernel

Hello, I'm using [ROM] GT-I9100 Resurrection Remix® v4.0.7 [02/09/13] PA.AOKP.CM (4.2.2), and I want to flash the stock kernel, its possible? If yes, I didnt found the link. I need use the 4.2.2 kernel or just the 4.1.2? Im little confused
Thanks
No you can't flash stock kernel, it only can with stock ROM.
and good thing you didn't find stock kernel, cause then you probably would've bricked your device.
(There is no stock kernel compatible with 4.2.2)

I think this person meant the 'stock' kernel that comes with the rom. Doesn't the first page of the thread say which one you need?

It should be a zImage file inside the RR zip, look for it. I don't know how to flash it though, but I'm sure there are guides for that

I believe it's the kernel from CyanogenMod, but you should make sure of that..I just remember that from some thread I read. What comes to selecting a kernel, try starting here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1702166 I also suggest searching info in the OP of Resurrection Remix http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1436854
