This should have been posted in Q/A however
you could try downloading Mobile Odin Pro from Google Play. Then go to Samfirmware.com and download your original firmware that came with the phone,( NOT A CUSTOM ROM). Unzip the file till you get to the .tar Put the firmware on the root directory of your sd card. Run Mobile Odin and install the firmware.
Mobile Odin
Buy Mobile Odin from play store (it's worth it and support @Chainfire) (here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.mobileodin.pro&hl=en) and flash to XXLPQ to restore to stock.
Instructions=http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347899
Do not Flash XXLPQ if you have a variant other than the i9100 like SGH-T959
A thanks would be nice
Thanks guys

Bdw i have an original firmware downloaded.....but its .md5 ...will it work?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using Tapatalk 2
Yes. Don't change the name of the filename; *.tar.md5 is what it should be.

Hey not sure if its not available yet or whether I'm still just useless at navigating and searching XDA still... but is there a downloable and flashable version of XXLPQ (or similar) that yiu can flash in CWM yet? And if so...any links please. Ive been scouting a few days but nothing. Id be fine to do it through ODIN but I dont have access to a computer at all.

When you download your firmware you get a rar file, inside is a .md5.tar
Just extract it and place it in the PDA section of Odin and flash.

Hello,
Got the flashguide from samfirmware.com for the GT-P7500.
It mentions PIT, PDA and CSC files and all I found from samfirmware.com was the file corresponding to my stock firmware:
P7500OXAKG7_P7500XXKG7_P7500XXKG7.zip which has inside a tar (P7500OXAKG7_P7500XXKG7_P7500XXKG7_HOME.tar) which has inside::
recovery.img
system.img
boot.img
bootloader.bin
cache.img
hidden.img
modem.bin
and I also got from samfirmware a PIT file:
P7500_P7510_android_fastboot_emmc_full_p4_16G_32G.pit
--
So, briefly, I hav the PIT, and a zip with a .tar file inside with a lot of image files.
Since flashguide mentions, PIT, PDA and CSC.. well, I just get the PIT part right but what about the rest?
Thanks

I answer myself and I leave it here in case anyone new is seeking the same answer.
You can follow the nice guide from overcome in here: http://www.teamovercome.net/p7500/?page_id=5
In there it specifies you use pit file I got and the .tar file in PDA button to reflash to stock the complete tablet with odin
It worked fine for me with no problems at all.
Cheers!
Hi there, Last night I rooted and installed ics rom to my tab, but second thought, I want to get everything back to normal (unroot and get back to android 3.2), socan you guide me how to unroot my samsung galaxy tab 10.1 3g [P7500] ?

Samfirmware.com has the stock rom for you. Flash via odin and you will have stock rom and no root.

P7500 re stock files
Hi Daniel,
Samfirmware dot com doesn't provide valid links to the files requires to re stock p7500, due to hot file shutdown. In case you have stored locally the files could you be so kind to give them to me in order to re stock my gt-p7500 ?

Not sure about samfirmware, but sammobile has reuploaded all the stock ROMs to a new server.

does anyone have the .pit for this firmware? I lost my efs folder and now im stuck with no data.. Or if someone knows how to fix this, im willing to pay.
The overcome link is not working.
Hey Galaxy SII people, I need some help with a friend's SII.
I'm quite knowledgeable with custom ROMs and recoveries, but I have no idea what to do with a stock phone.
The phone is rooted and not getting the OTA to ICS. I want to get the OTA, losing root not necessarily a problem.
Can someone give me a hand with this? I have no idea what I need to do.
The phone also has the stock recovery.
I apologize if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find a conclusive, comprehensive answer.
Go to samfirmware and download the update firmware and install it via odin.
All the best.

Flash stock ROM from http://samfirmware.com/ via Odin. Search for galaxy S2 ROMs, just make sure you don't download the dangerous ROMs (the ones with a warning triangle next to them).

Thanks for the quick reply.
I'm downloading a zip now. I flash this with Odin/Heimdall? I thought I needed a .tar and a bunch of other files to flash with Odin.
This won't keep root, right? Is there any way I could get root back after flashing?
Also, will this wipe /data?
Oh, and I have the option to download a ROM for a specific carrier. Does that mean I can't use another carrier?
Edit: While I'm at it, is the stock recovery needed for anything stock ROM related?
Yes download will be in the form of a zip file, once downloading is complete you can extract the tar. file and place in the PDA section of odin. This will not wipe your device, well never has done for me. Yes you will loose root as you have a completely new rom with stock kernel. See the guide for rooting your chosen firmware. As for the carrier i always use the unbranded /open version as this has less bloat ware. All the best.

Make sure you don't have repartition button ticked or play with the pit file if you don't 100% know what you're doing either

okay so i have lost my usb and i am on rr3.0.6 jellybean rom.
i would like to go back all stock on ics 4.0.3 02 uk rom.
is there a way to flash back without usb, like a flashable zip to flash via cwm
or do i have to wait to get a usb and flash via odin ?
I think only Odin.

There were flashable zips with stock Samsung FW. Look in Original Android Development/General forums.
Check the app Mobile Odin.
