Sounds like there is something wrong with your authentication to the server, maybe wrong password, or the wrong server, lol

Nope , i had logged in thousands of time , how could it be wrong ? anyway I also save my password and username in a text file so that It will be auto logged...

Did you think of checking the server-side of things then? If your phone is not the problem, it's usually the other end.

I think its the phone problem . Is there anything to solve this ?

itz a configuration error,
may be the ip stopped working,
its not any fault in tun.ko , or other things....

but if I connect it through pc, it still working ..

ActiveSync: the old WM5.0 bug now present in WM6.0 :-(

hello,
i have a serious problem with activesync. this problem also happened several times with wm5.0 and now i have it with wm6.0, too.
i don't know how to fix this bug, but under wm5.0 i always restored a few days old backup on my ppc and the problem disappeared.
that means, that something is going wrong on the ppc, and not on the windows pc.
at first my connectionssettings in the mobile device center under vista. i have a german version, so i try to translate them on my own:
allow usw connection is ticked, the pc is conneceted with "internet", automatic device identification i ticked and dataconnections on the device while connected to the PC is UNTICKED.
but these settings aren't so important, because a few hours ago, it worked with this settings flawlessly.
now the problem on my ppc:
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
that's it! activesync is connected, it syncs very well, but no data (internet) connection over the pc is available anymore
i disconnected the ppc from the pc and deleted the partnership to my ppc, but it's the same. rebooting the pc and the ppc changes nothing.
please can someone help me? i can't fix this bug and i always have to apply an old backup. and even WM6.0 could not help me
try to do steps in Windows
1.start the command window:click[Start Menu][Run] type "cmd" and click【OK】
2.in the command window type and run
----------------
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
----------------
that's all,Good Luck^_^
thx for you reply but meanwhile i have found a quite easy workaround.
i have no idea, how it is called in english but let me explain it ^^
if this problem happens, i just have to open the mobile device center and access the connection-settings. there i have to tick on the setting, which allows the device to open its own data connections (over radio/GRPS) even if it is connected to the pc. then i press "ok" and close the settings.
at this moment the connecton-bubble on my ppc shows the "activesync" connection again
i can open the settings again and undo the previous change and it will still work
maybe it does the self like your cmd commands, but now i don't have to try them anymore

[Q] Wifi Connectivity problem after upgrading Galaxy ACE to 2.3.6

Hi,
I've upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Ace to 2.3.6 but after doing it my Wifi got disconnected every after 2-3 mins for 4-5 seconds, I have reinstalled the driver as well but it doesn't work, please help in this matter...!!
Thanks,
Swapneal
maybe downgrade to your old firmware and reflash the new will help
or just enter recovery mode (when phone is off, Home-Button + Power-Button) and wipe data + wipe cache (but then all your apps and setups are gone, so make a backup of them using Titanium Backup, but root is required)
hope this will help u, dude
Reflash the official way, that should help
Sent from my GT-S5830 using XDA
faced the same issue, couldnt find any solution anywhere so did the following and it worked (screengrab below)
i hope you have CWM installed
My Model: Samsung Galaxy S Gt-i9000
Version: 2.3.6
Make sure your Wifi is on and Notify on available connection is ticked
Goto Recovery mode and wipe Dalvik Cache, no need to wipe anything else
reboot device, when the device starts your WiFi should be connected for good although in my case it shows as follows

Update: Just discovered another method... for All Dlink users out there do this and you wont have an issue with WiFi with 2.3.6 update
Login to your Router
GoTo Advanced> Network Filter and from the dropdown menu select "Turn MAC Filtering on and ALLOW computers listed to access the network"
save the settings
Voila!!
and by using this option my WiFi connectivity has become super fast
It happens to me too. Have you fixed it?
Login on your router, go to DHCP settings and find the item called "leasing time".
The default value of the "Leasing time" is usually "Forever" and this is the bug with Android 2.3.6
Change the value of the "Leasing time" from "Forever" to any other value (e.g. "Two weeks").

[Q] GK802 and persistent ethernet settings (SOLVED)

Hi
I use an usb-to-ethernet dongle with the gk802 and would like to:
enable ethernet by default at boot
disable wifi by default at boot
#2 is no problem however I have trouble acheiving #1
At start up ethernet is always disabled and one has to go into "Settings->Wireless & Network->More->Ethernet" to enable it. Not very wife&kids friendly.
I wrote a script that waits until init.svc.bootanim was "stopped" then issues a
Code:
setprop ctl.start "dhcpcd_eth0:-h `getprop net.hostname` eth0"
However while ethernet work and I can ping and browse the web just fine, Android framework doesn't seem to know about the new connection. Various apps got confused (sshd says "no connection" and refuses to start). Play-Store hangs on "Waiting for network" when trying download large apps without enabling Wifi. Time-of-day goes back to Jan-1, 1970. etc.
The difference that I can see in "logcat" is that
Using the GUI, ConnectivityService is aware of the new ethernet connection.
Code:
EthernetStateTracker(2146): report new state CONNECTED on dev eth0
....
ConnectivityService(2146): ConnectivityChange for ETH: CONNECTED/CONNECTED
...
Without the GUI, ConnectivityService is NOT aware of the state change
Code:
EthernetStateTracker(2146): report new state CONNECTED on dev eth0
Also, in /data/data/com.android.provider.settings/databases/settings.db,
if wifi was enabled, "select * from secure where name = 'wifi_on';" would return 1
if ethernet was enabled, "select * from secure where name = 'ethernet_on';" would return 2
(What's the meaning of 1 and 2 in settings?)
Any one managed to get a persistent settings for ethernet on the gk802?
problem solved: in the script I use:
Code:
service call ethernet 2 i32 2
Hi bogolisk,
Would you mind sharing the full script you are using, and also some basic instructions on how to use/install it?
I would really like my ethernet to auto-start as well. Thanks a lot!
Kind Regards

Huawei P8 Lite - Wifi access point problem

Hello,
First of all, my phone is an Huawei P8 Lite ALE-21, bouth in September 2016, it's ROOTED, I've followed this thread to change the ROM : https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/general/mega-thread-root-unbricking-updating-t3400994, to see if was changing anything... (nothing has changed I reassure you)
I'm getting a problem when I want to share my 4G/3G/2G connection to any devices with the Wifi access point :
Using the default parameters in the phone :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The users can connect, get an IP, and communicate with others without any problems, but here comes the troubles ;
When the connected users want to use the Internet, they open a web browser page and, they are automatically redirected to this kind of page :
Yeah I'm French, but this is saying that "YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR SHARING YOUR CONNECTION!", and I'm not hating capitalism but... I really want to find an other way instead of... PAYING.
This is what I tried :
1 - Changing the ROM to an official Huawei's one -> didn't worked
2 - Trying Cyanogen -> did not detected my SIM, so didn't worked
3 - Trying a dozens of application of transmitting the wifi -> didn't worked
This is what I'm thinking about:
1 - First option, the problem should come from the routing of my phone, which is maybe asking an new IP to the operator... Which has detected it. LUCK ! I'm rooted so in the theory I can break anything in my phone (Changing the Routing tables?).
2 - Second option, my operator HAS FULLY DISABLED THIS FEATURE TO EARN MORE AND MORE MONEY. Wrong, my old phone still can do it (Wiko IGGY) with my current SIM card.
What solution should work in any cases:
1 - Explode my phone into a wall
2 - Buy an IPhone 12
3 - Ask xda-developers who as SOO helped me before <3
I hope somebody has a solution... Else I think I will change my phone...
Thanks for helping me!

Alter the IR database to send other codes to the TV - Need help

Hey there.
I have since a few days the new ShieldTV remote with IR function and netflix button. Since yesterday I try to change the NvIRTuner.apk (com.nvidia.irtuner) or its database or the IR calls. Unfortunately without success so far.
The database is built very interesting. I'm talking about the O1R_UPDATE_19NOV20.sqlite here.
In the table M_Codes you can find all IR codes. Before the corresponding Java class determines the device which one has selected in the IR-AV-Toogle menu. In my case a LG TV with the id 1970. This Id can be seen in the setup.

Here a Logcat excerpt, if I press my menu button to trigger the HDMI toggle:
07-11 13:37:30.050 4415 4601 D ShieldBluetoothIRInterface: *****REPORT*****0 - Pastebin.com
Pastebin.com is the number one paste tool since 2002. Pastebin is a website where you can store text online for a set period of time.
pastebin.com
Good to see the actual IR_Code that is taken, or its alias:
INPUT SCROLL
What I have tried so far:-I replaced all IR codes in O1R_UPDATE_19NOV20.sqlite with Channel_UP and then moved this db to /data/data/com.nvidia.irtuner/databases with su-rights.
-> Unfortunately the system app com.nvidia.irtuner seems to read the db inital only once. I can't get it to read my db. I don't understand why. No matter if I reset the app, replaced the O1R_UPDATE_19NOV20.sqlite and give appropriate chown and chmod rights or reset the app before.
-My second attempt was a modified APK. Unfortunately, this can not be installed, because it must be signed by nvidia. I have root, but I don't know what to change in the /system/packages.xml so that the system would accept the app.
->When I try to install it, I only get the message that you have to sign this apk appropriately for the user.
-Then I tried to reproduce the service call from the logcat but unfortunately I don't know what to do.
Does anyone have a tip for me?
Greetings by Idijt
