Hey everyone,
I'm having trouble getting my notification bar to pull down anytime I'm in portrait mode. It actually started happening the day I was going to unlock the bootloader. If I press on on the notification bar, I can get to the clock screen, so I know the touch screen didn't go bad, but it will not pull down at all. It works in landscape mode though, so I haven't been able to troubleshoot it. Since this started happening, I've unlocked, rooted, and flashed at least 5 roms, and it still does the same thing.
I have never dropped my phone and I have the HTC extended battery and cover on it, with no screen protector or case.
If this sounds familiar to anybody, please let me know if there's anyway to make it work.
Thanks
Nick

Hello all.
Not much of a poster but i would like to see if i can get some help with my phone.
I've had it rooted and running Trigger for a couple months now......but recently i came into a problem. The phone will go into landscape mode on its own and sticks there.
It wont rotate back no matter what i do.
Yes i've tried toggling the auto-rotate settings but it still wont rotate back.
The only way i can get it to go back to vertical is by reflashing the rom, but it doesn't take long before it goes back. I've also tried flashing other roms but same problem.
It's really starting to get frustrating and i don't know what to do. Any thoughts?
Have you tried re-calibrating? Go to Settings>Display>Horizontal Calibration and let it do its thing. I ran into this with trigger and later, project v.
You mean anytime in landscape mode it locks that way? Like when using the camera or watching a movie? Or it only locks when using landscape on the home screens?
that sounds like a hardware problem to me but maybe if i knew more about what your doing i could say otherwise. there are sensors inside your phone that tell it when it is sideways, upside down, rightside up. not that i encourage this but...... have you tried bumping it off of a table to see if it flips back? maybe the sensors are acting up???
Am I using this app wrong or something? It lags the crap out of my device. Takes about a full two seconds to turn the screen on with it, and even then I have to wait a second or two to swipe my MIUI slider.
And god forbid I try and use the Laptop dock. If I plug my phone in with the dock, my phone sits there and I have to push the power button several times to get a response from the phone, where it promptly turns the screen off again and denies me from booting into WebTop.
I can't say I've seen that problem on my phone. How many widgets do you have on your lock screen? Have you tried running widgetlocker with only the slider to see if that resolves the issue?
I've got minimal text for time, and minimal text for the date. Then the MIUI slider. Even with just the slider, it lags like crazy.
Never had a problem. Just hit my unlock, then my back arrow and zero lag to my homescreen. Try the back button option over the slider. Maybe the slider is causing the lag.
EDIT: Just added the Miui slider and still no lag. Not sure what you have going on, sorry.
Can anyone help me please! I can't pull my notification bar even after restart. Then i unlock my phone, rooted it, and installed Android Revolution HD and it become OK. But after putting it overnight, i can't pull it anymore! Then I flash it with CM10.1.1 and it still doesn't work.
Some one please help me!
When you rotate it into landscape mode, are you able to bring it down? If so, there is a chance that you have a bit of dead screen at the top.
Hello all, I am currently researching some new phone as my Lg G2 is failing. I thought I would explain the issue though incase its something that could be fixed. The issue started the other day when my phone kept activating in my pocket even with screen lock on. When I try to use my phone the screen would randomly change to a clock face with a small lock symbol in the bottom right of the clock . This clock would be on the top of the screen and the screen would only respond to touch inside the clock image. It would not unlock when swiping. Also while this clock is on my screen if I received a incomming call the clock would be replace with the normal accept or decline screen while shrunk in this small box the clock occupied. It would let me swipe accept call and talk.
I could not google this issue, anyone seen this before?
Thanks.
Wanted to add, I also reset phone back to factory settings and it didnt fix it.
I'm stumped. I have a rooted Verzion G3 and the other day I decided to try a new ROM (Flashed the 35B bootstack for the first time). After about a day or two, the status bar pulldown menu became less and less responsive. I would assume it is the ROM or the digitizer. I open Chrome in portrait mode, pulldown doesn't work. I goto landscape, it suddenly works. It would make you begin to thing that there is a problem with the screen. The problem is, when I go to the lockscreen, the pulldown works 100% off the time.
I even enabled the touch sensor in developers tools to determine if my touches are registering, they do. I went in and did a full wipe and went back to the ROM I was on before. The problem is still there. I'm really scratching my head with this one. Does anyone care to chime in?
