Hi,
I'm looking for a widget or shortcut to activate/deactivate wifi-direct and/or NFC features . It would be wonderful to be able to toggle these with easy action.
Any ides ?
no ideas ?
Try widgetsoid 2.x free from play store. The best power control widget out there, does lots including nfc (can be found in the 'other' section)

thanks. NFC toggling works fine but there's no option for wifi direct ?
I really would like to ask this again since it's would be nice to have.
still no solution to address this ?
The ABO A810 is running on Android 2.2 (2.1) and symbol in the notification bar pretend a fast fix but it seems that fix is not 100% because apps like GPS Test Plus shows no colored bars for the satellites and shows for example 0/11 in use although the app shows GPS ist fixed. With this no tracking is possible.
Is there a patch, tool or infos about setting options of the gps.conf available?
Thank you in advance and forgive my broken english!
hello can you please upload the rom for this phone thanks
hey guys,
just moved over to the htc one from the nexus 4 and loving it so far - so much better. BUT few gripes I was hoping to get some help on. is there any way to change the status bar icons? What I liked about nexus 4's status bar:
- changes color based on connection. e.g. if bluetooth is on it's grey, if bluetooth is connected its blue
- same with wifi / 3g - grey if connecting, blue if connected
- only one icon for signal and connection (hspa / 3g). htc one shows two icons - one for signal strength one for up/down/connectoin type. I don't need so much info.
any help much appreciated?

Sounds like you want to get back on AOSP. Look in the Original Development section - there are a few AOSP builds. I'm not sure where they are on working out the kinks though.
I would check out Xposed framework for the One. There Ida nice application made for the One that can assist with some of these requests.
Also inside the At&t HTC One dev section there are mods to remove the Att network icons and give you the international look and accuracy.

anyone running the latest Paid version for GPS status? Can you please confirm if the "Pressure" status readings work for you? It does not appear for me and I know our phones have a pressure sensor. Please confirm, thanks.
As I upgraded to KitKat I wondered why the GPS Icon in the statusbar is replaced by this "new" thing.
I wanted my old GPS Icon back!
Well here it is!

The JellyBean one blinks when the system searches GPS. The KK one doesn't.

Nice module but...
When I turn off GPS the icon remains in the statusbar still blinking at me.
Nexus 7 2013 Kitkat 4.4.2 KOT49H
Hey, ya i see. Try to start any app that uses gps and quit it. It will be gone. Its a bug i will fix it in a few days.
// EDIT:
Fixed
Thanks, that is fixed - great module.
There is a little cosmetic change I'd like but not sure you can fix it.
I have GravityBox installed (of course!) and the Data Traffic Monitor turned on. I have it's position set to Right and it normally displays to the left of the Wifi icon in the statusbar which is perfect.
However, the GPS icon now displays between them, to the left of the Wifi icon with the data traffic information to the left of the GPS icon. Not ideal, as the data traffic information should ideally be next to the Wifi icon.
I could set the GPS icon to Left Position but I want all these icons on the right of the statusbar not in the notification area.
Thanks

This is not possible, since the module uses the internal GPS class. And the position is fixed.

You have to launch an app that's using the GPS module to see the icon blink during the fix acquisition
i opened the app GPS Test Plus and there was the status gps: On
And my sygic navigation also said gps is working. but still no blinking icon in the status bar

Goto Xposed Installer, Logs and in the Menu you have the Option to send.
Btw: The icon blinks only if the gps is searching.
yes i know that. here is the log
