Hello!
So I decided to test drive the Note and the screen is awesome , although I did notice banding so that is a problem but anyway my main issue now is performance.
Everything just lags and performance of games is not good.
I am comparing to my Captivate and mine scored over 1300 Vellamo vs not even 800 in the Note.
Same thing with many other things.
Going in and out of the Applications menu with Golauncher just hiccups or is plainly not smooth.
Scrolling on the browser is also not smooth.
Now my Captivate is running ICS but even at 1Ghz it scores almost 1000 points in Vellamo and feels smoother vs this dual core at 1.5Ghz
Is all the junk that comes from factory really destroying its performance?
I have seen other scores that are very good.
I may have to go with the International version but somehow I doubt the difference between the two is really that big and I doubt my captivate is supposed to outclass this monster.
Is a beauty so I really want to make sure this is just an issue with its stock configuration.
Regards
Root, flash custom ROM, boom no lag

Hmm... My Note is blazingly fast. Everything is super smooth and there's no lag anywhere.
But I don't run GO apps. As far as I can tell, I GO apps are a huge resource for hogs.
You might want to try and unintelligible GO Launcher and see if that helps.

I'm running Rogers stock, with bloat removed and da_g's overclock kernal at 1.7gHz with Go launcher, and believe me this thing don't lag.
Maybe try getting all that carrier crap off of the thing, tweek it out a bit.
Sent from my SGH-I717R using xda premium
Ok so it must be the crap in this one. I know go launcher runs fine with my captivate so no reason it wont run fine here.
Do you see banding when launching the xda app?
The stock Notes do have lag. I think its a combo of this crazy screen size and the weird aspect ratio. Regular apps just weren't meant to fit on a screen this shape. Most of us have long since solved the lag problem, but it takes tinkerin'. Worth it, though...
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk 2
I noticed the same thing on gingerbread. Moving to ICS made a huge difference. If you just testing make sure you see the difference ICS this makes because it really shows the potential. Also what you'll notice is not much has happened in kernel development for gingerbread. Its not worth it with ICS hopefully being official very soon. If your comparing a captivate running all the latest goodies to the note running stock ginger bread, I understand your hesitation, but the the ICS leaks make a huge improvement in the performance on this device. Try making a comparison between stock kk4, and aosp slim rom on the captivate. There isn't one. Hope this helps

Remember, this is the first type of phone samsung has ever made. Ofcorse there are gonna be some issues. The next note will definitely be smoother stock on tw. But with android, we love customization. Once official ICS releases, it should be better.
-Once you go NOTE, you'd say 4 inches a Joke
Go launcher will be buggy its not optimized for this phone IMO its laggy but my note was very smooth and fast out the box idk yours ain't use a different launcher besides go launcher its a ram hog and battery hog I promise adw fine if ur still stock or something similar I'm using apex on ics smooth to

I use adw as default on the note and it works great except the wallpaper scrolling is still borked.
I really hope banding and blotchy blacks gets a fix when source drops. Other than those issues I've not had issues worth complaining about.

Im still stock and unrooted (just got it 4 days ago) and i immediatly started running adw ex. Runs excellent. I also uninstalled as much att sh!t as i could runs verrrry nice now...

Yeah, out of the box the phone was ok. The screen/size made me overlook the minor hesitations and quirks. Well that, and I got it when my inspire4g took an unexpected **** on me so I really just walked into the att store and bought the phone that was the biggest step up from my inspire and the most interesting. And, being an ecet major I follow all of the reviews and releases so I knew it was at the very least decent.
I was about to graduate so I didn't have much time to tinker with it because of projects/finals and I'd been a pretty big HTC fanboi since windows mobile days so Samsung stuff (Odin, etc) was all new to me. Do I ran it stock plus AdwEx for at least a month I think and it was rock solid and smooth. I think I probably tried every single launcher there is, and still ended up back on AdwEx. (seriously, tsf, spb, hi, ex, vtl, modded TW, all of them) Most of the launchers could be made smooth with some tweaking and less fancy transitions, but most lacked many options I've gotten used to with AdwEx and nova.
That said, when I finally got the time I installed CWM, rooted the stock, and decided **** this and moved to ICS all in the same evening.
I missed ICS since I had it on my inspire, and it seems to have made the GNote amazing. Currently on previous build of team perfection objection ICS from appdroid, and have run all the others as well.
I ran nova prime for a good bit and that was very smooth. I switched to GOlauncher just to see what all the hype was about and ran that for a good bit, but couldn't stand their menus and just wanting me to buy stupid widgets and themes. It was decently smooth, but felt it may have imparted some lag on other parts of the phone at times. I can't rely prove that, I just know it's smoother with it uninstalled and a different launcher.
I finally switched back to AdwEx. So I'm running ICS with AdwEx, widget locker, and chompsms. It's super smooth. Most common issue is XDA premium force closing.
Once they release kernel source, I have no doubt this phone will be a decent powerhouse. I also don't think I've had a phone before that incited such love/hate amongst random people in bars and out and about. Some people will say oh my good is that the new phone tablet thing wow! Some hardcore ios guys sneer and say how it's way too big and unnecessary and how their screen size is superior and this would never fit in a pocket!
It's an awesome phone, I think the 16:10 aspect ratio, tablet resolution, att/Samsung bloat, and gingerbread were definitely holding it back a tiny bit at first. But apps will get updated, and aosp/source will make it killer.
I type too much...unemployed lol.
Here's some benchmarks...all on battery lol.

So true. My impression of the ATT version stock was HORRIBLE. I couldnt believe how my Captivate was just kicking its ass in every possible way.
Now with my international Note and a GB Rom (for now) this thing is a beast...I love this phone!
I was running stock. Just rooted and romd it Friday night. Silky smooth and great battery life. I loved my streak but this phone blows it out of the water

I used to hate lags I'm experiencing after switching from iphone. Even simple apps like phone, sms, and contacts lag at initial launch.
I haven't done anything to my stock GB like rooting and deleting rogers bloat stuff. Perhaps it will get rid of lag issue but I just learned to live with it!!! Iphone wasnt perfect phone neither.

Hey all! Looks like I'm switching from sprint where I currently have an Epic 4G (rooted) I'm not sure if I should get an Atrix or the Samsung Infuse?
If I root the Atrix can I use the Amazon Marketplace?
Do you all recommend the Atrix. Or something else? It looks like I'm pretty much bound to at&t. I'm sure gonna miss the slider keyboard on my epic

after you get used to the touchscreen, more than likely you won't miss your keyboard. the atrix rocks. unlock your bootloader first. and read the instructions thoroughly before you do. we don't need another 'i brick my atrix' thread.
oh yeah. amazon marketplace. there's an app for that. seriously.

I would definitely recommend the Atrix over the Infuse. The Infuse may have a bigger display with better colors, but in terms of specs the Atrix is more future proof being a dual core device with 1gb of ram. Look at one in person before you buy it though and make sure you're ok with a pentile display.
If you install the Gingerbread OTA, you dont even need to root since AT&T changed their sideloading policy. You should still root the phone, though. And unlock the bootloader. The blur based roms arent that bad, and if you can live without a camera this phone just flies with CM7.
My old phone had a hardware keyboard and I miss it. Try swype, it comes with the stock firmware. Its not as good, but its still better than most virtual keyboards.
Get the ATRIX. My single core xperia doesn't even come close. I have pics of two ROMS of my ATRIX in my album/photos section of my profile. Give it a look.

Agreed, just picked one up coming from VZW with a heavily modded HTC Incredible running CM7. Night and day difference in terms of performance (including the network!). I haven't even had to mod this yet, the stock Gingerbread ROM is great and I even enjoy Motoblur.. my first Android without Launcher Pro! I've rooted it, thats all.. once the guys @ CM (love you by the way) get the ROM fully functioning I'll make the switch.

Coming from my DInc (which has an 8MP camera, a great one at that), the Atrix's is just as good if not sharper despite being lower resolution. Here is an un-edited pic I snapped yesterday in a parking lot of my car for kicks.

For some reason people associate mega pixels with image quality. They're totally unrelated. MP's just let you crop more from the picture before it looks like pixelated garbage but it has nothing to do with sharpness, color, or anything else. Generally the more MP's you try to fit on the same CCD sensor the more horrible your pictures become due to the heat generated by the sensors being crammed so close and it's called picture noise

totaly true, just like lcd televisions there are 720p 40 inch tv,s put out a better picture then alot of 1080p 40 inch tv,s, so same story as the camera the bigger number doesnt neccesarily mean it will produce a better image
I think its currently the best phone in the market. My friend has been waiting for the bionic. but I love my Atrix since i bought it a few month ago. Camera/video camera quality is pretty good. I have recorded 720p and 1080p. quality is the same. 720 will do for now. I have had some complains about in-call voice volume that people cant hear me well but that happens once or twice a week. these are very small things to be worried about. I just cant wait for ATT to upgrade their HSPA so we can get full 4G.

I love the rezound it is an awesome phone. If you like androids you will love it. My wife just switched to a rezound from an iphone 4 and she loves it. I upgraded from an evo 3d and it is a way better phone.
I've been with android since the very beginning with the G1 and the REZOUND is without a doubt the best phone I have ever owned. Not only is it the most powerful phone currently on the market it but it has great battery life that can easily get me through a full day of medium usage. The phone is even better now that HTC has unlocked the bootloader and a ton of ROMS have been released by developers. Plus, an early ICS build has been released which could lead to a stable ICS release in the coming weeks so overall I couldn't be any happier with this phone!
Yes, best there is right now. I switched from android to the iphone and now "I'm back in the saddle again."
Thanks for the feed back. I'm still researching this phone but I am stoked about getting an Android phone again. I was a luanch customer on the EVO 4G and then switched to Verizon on the Thunderbolt. I got a fancey stereo for my car and of course it was iPhone ready so to get all the goodies my new stereo would do I switch to an IPhone. I have decided the iPhone is just not worth having for my car stereo so back to Android I go.
I have a Nook Color and a HP Touchpro (running android of course) so yea...Im and Android junky and a flashaholic!!!

No, you're not making a mistake. Yes, the Rezound is the right choice!
The screen is gorgeous. There's a bit of an issue with color/tint in taking pics but the clarity and sharpness is amazing. Text is clear and crisp.
The dev section is going crazy since HTC unlocked it and now there's an ICS leak that people are working on.
Personally I like Sense a lot but there are ROMs without it available.
4g.
16gb internal and 16gb external removable sd card which can be upgraded to a 64gb card and confirmed working. That's an 80gb phone!
Wirefly currently has this phone at $99.99 for new contract or additional line.
I love it. If you like Android I'm sure you will too.
from the OG droid to a dx to the rezound it is by FAR the best phone I've owned. I've also had a chance to use/test drive a gnex and razr and i can honestly say that i don't have ONE bit of regret getting the rezound over those two. In after thought it was really a no brainer actually.

I asked this same question when I got rid of my DX2. I have never been happier with a phone ever. I love this thing more than I loved my OG Droid, and I nearly cried when I got rid of that. This phone is beyond amazing, and with all the new work on ICS that's coming up, you're jumping in at the perfect time.
another positive review
I too came from a x2, and was also an OG early adopter.
This phone kicks ass! The screen is unbelievable, the dev possibilities are endless, the beats makes a BIG difference on the audio! I was just getting into modding my x2...and once I (finally) learn my way around this one, the sky's the limit!
RUN , don't walk, to Verizon and sign on the dotted line! Lol
If price is an object, then yes, the Rezound is great for the price.
If price is not of concern, I don't see why you would not go with the Galaxy Nexus.
I don't think the Rezound is bad, but turning down consistent updating from Google, more after market customization and less difficulty rooting or doing any custom ROM, the galaxy nexus is Verizon's Best Phone, bar none.
That being said, go with what you like the best. Try them out, and go with what you like the most.

Because the galaxy nexus has the worst antenna issues I have ever experienced. Screen is pentile amoled that gives it a nasty blue tint. People have been reporting burn in on the screen. Need I go on?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using XDA App
It's a great phone with a few quirks:
Many are plagued with overheating issues, my first one was but my second works fine.
The design of the screen allows the LEDs to shine up from the bottom and annoys some but I don't notice it often unless I'm watching video in the dark. This can be solved by installing screen filter and turning off the LEDs.
Stock battery sucks if you're a heavy user and on stock ROM or kernel. Development is just getting going and it's getting better.
Color balance of camera is off, most of the time you need to keep it on incandescent to get accurate pictures.
All the above are quirks and you can get over however the main problem is the audio hissing/whining/feedback when headphones are plugged in. Ironic that a beats phone has music issues lol.
Speaking of beats its a gimmick and I find equalizer (the app) does a much better job for a variety of music.
Pros are the following:
Amazing screen and full HD videos on it look amazing. High ppi ftw! Plus it is a full rgb display and not pentile like the razr.
Sense integration, love it or hate it. I don't love it but I really like it and because the hardware is so good it isn't laggy at all and love the contact and widgets.
While not the thinnest phone it feels really great in the hand. Ergonomically speaking much nicer to hold and pocket than the razr for comparison.
ISC should be coming soon as rezound is part of first release update. I think sometime in February.
Lock screen shortcuts (because of sense 3.5) are really handy
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Stop the lies in here about the Nexus......the Rezound is a nice phone.....that's it. It is NOT a superior device. Its the same old phone HTC has been selling for years with a dual core and over packed PPI. This is the fastest device Ive ever had my hands on. That includes ios devices and my T2 Transformer. Even with ICS the UI isnt as fast as my note (read: smoothness...the pages and apps may transition or load faster sometimes on my transformer, but it isnt as buttery). And while the international note may have a faster SoC, the ATT note hasnt stuttered a single time nor has it dropped the frame rate below 30 fps in any game. And Ive played some demanding titles. Ive played dead space, idatank, zombie wonderland, and a whole host of other games. Plus, your getting LTE in exchange. Would i have preferred an exynos based SoC? yea. But not in exchange for LTE.
The bottom line: the note is blazing fast now, and will only get faster when ICS comes out this month. The real world performance differences are negligible, and not even worth mentioning. And battery life (which is good with the screen power management enabled) i havent had a single problem with the phone.
It really all depends, do you care about 4G LTE Speeds or quadrant scores? The int version has the better processor but isn't compatible with LTE. IMO, After rooting and removing some of the bloatware on the AT&T note, it runs smooth like butter. But the int version has some great features that the AT&T version didn't come with. Those would be scrolling wallpaper, movie editor, and a few options in settings. Its hard to get the best of both worlds...

The international note won't even see ICS this month. Don't hold your breath for the ATT one to either

I heard the note has a barometer in it...is that for the att and international version?
Galaxy Note
I've got the bell version just installed app Barometer HD checked with my local weather station and its right on... my note just keeps getting better Thanks Samsung
Intl Note doesn't have NFC, nor is it LTE capable. That makes up for the slight difference in CPU performance in the ATT Note, IMO.
Yes, I know NFC isn't enabled yet, but the hardware is there.
If you live in North America, it is better to get the att note. (warranty stuff, lte) If you live in europe is better to get the int'l one. I personally do not care what people say about the processor, you don't notice the difference and even the benchmark scores do not mean anything! +I like att note's design better

You can enable it with a canadian based rom like Saurom. I have been writing tags today with Nfc task launcher. Really cool app that allows you to write a batch of commands to an Nfc tag so that when in the vicinity, the phone runs the batch. I have one now on my car dock to turn off wifi, turn on bluetooth, open voice talk, turn up volume, turn on gps. All without touching the phone
I get 3200 in quadrant first run underclocked on aosp ics.
I say to each his own. If u play a lot of games and video and don't have lte in your city go international. If you can use lte stick with the att version as you won't notice a huge performance difference in daily use between the two phones

I have an iPhone 4s on AT&T with the unlimited data plan. Was wondering if you can switch back and forth between an iPhone and Note LTE? Being that they are are 2 different data plans (HSPA+ and LTE) would there be any conflicts switching SIM cards between them?

Yes, there are many conflicts. The 4S runs HSPA+ and the Note runs LTE...the plans are provisioned differently in the system. Not to mention Android devices and iDevices run two different provisions even between 3G or HSPA+. Then there's the microSIM versus standard SIM.
i want all of your opinions on whether or not trade my iphone 4. unloackable for the galaxy NOTE.. can you tell me how long does the battery last on your phone and if it is worth to trade it
thanks
I used to carry both an iphone and an Android phone. After getting the note, I sold my iphone and use android full time.
the battery life is fine. if you are a heavy user, carry a spare battery.
I just switched from an iPhone 4 to the Note about 2 weeks ago. I have absolutely no regrets switching. I have always had an iPhone from the first one in 2007 up until 2 weeks ago and never saw myself switching because of how the build quality of apple and smoothness of iOS was. When I used a note for the first time it blew me away the progress that android has made over the years. While I still don't think the overall build quality of this phone is iPhone status everything else is better. As far as battery goes, unless you plan on trying to go multiple days without charging then it is a non issue. It gets through a day just fine. I will say the battery life does drop faster than my iPhones did but there's really no difference to me as the note gets me through the day with plenty to spare and I charge it every night anyway. Once you get a Note you'll wonder why you used such a small screen before.
I know the screen is really small on iphone .. I used the htc titan before .. N i am thinking of trading it . For a Note but im still in doubt .. Since i am with tmobile . The internet might be the same unless i put the hack to get 4G ..
Is the camera good on the note ?

the camera is brilliant.....great pics. i take pictures and can zoom in on the smallest details of that pic and see it clearly.
The battery life won't be quite as good add your iPhone, but it will still last you through a full day. I can pull about 16 hours total with 4 hours of screen time on a charge, but I try not to look at my phone for 25% of the day anyways. The screen will make you laugh at your iPhone. The iPhone has slightly higher pixel density, but once you go Super AMOLED HD, you won't go back. The SPen also brings more usefulness than you would think. Also, with Android, even without rooting and ROMing, you can still use rings of different kings of launchers, change how your icons look, use different keyboards, and perhaps the oldest argument, view flash content.
Don't get me wrong, I like the design of iPhones, minus the small screen, and their software does run smoothly, but after 3 Android phones there is no way I could go back. IPhones are just too limited for my tastes. With my 3g, I felt like I had a nice phone that could play some cool games. With my Note, I feel like I'm carrying with a tiny computer with limitless tools at my disposal. I also like when other people pick up my phone and have no clue how to use it, but it is still way more streamlined for my own personal use than an iPhone would be.
With Android you decide how you use your phone, not Apple.

I have ALWAYS blackballed Apple for the proprietary BS... I had to bend once when my wife brought home an ipod she found. I was pretty upset that I had to deflower my xpsl702x with itunes. I am ashamed of myself for allowing this to happen, but I would have been more ashamed of myself for not following my wifes requests.
Traded my iPhone 4 for a Note and I love it
I was a die hard apple zombie.. I once believed like all others that apple would cure world hunger. I traded my iphone 4 for a Motorola artrix then a international galaxy s2 then a skyrocket and now a galaxy note.. I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW THE RAIN IS GONE..
you will love the note..

Short version - I don't regret the decision. You might depending on you love for iOS.

There are a lot of Note users that came from the iPhone. I havent seen any regrets so far. I too came from the iPhone 4 to the Original GS2 then skyrocket...then the Note. It just got better everytime. Some iPhone users are way too stubborn to switch but I rather have choices than to "accept" what they give me.
-Once you go NOTE, you'd say 4 inches a Joke
alright well I'm gonna trust you guys that the camera its really good quality thats what I'm more concern on.. cuz i am a picture fanatic...i wil b trading it for the note... if i don't like it how much are the notes selling for more less any idea ??

I like the camera on this phone more than the one on my old ip4. I can't speak for the 4s, but the note has a better camera than ip4.
You also have many more options inside the camera and quick options for uploading images to various apps from within the gallery.

do you experience any lag on the note??
ii will trade it but I'm afraid the size of the screen will b too much ...
has any of you tyried the 4g hack for tmobile also?
i chickened out on getting the note when i saw the size in person..im a iphone user 4 years and omg the iphone is so small i cant go back to it too small..youll get use to the size of the note..not really pocket friendly but depends on person to person..as for battery give it time to cycle and it will improve..but battery life depends on settings/use/rooted ect.. i love my note but sadly i have another pixel issuse so this one is going back to hopeful get another one with no pixel problems.. only thing i dont like is the camera speed capture its slow for me..battery could have been a 3000mah to give it a bit extra use..sometimes it lags depends how much ram your using and crash some apps could be bugs.. im stock GB..waiting for ICS real one..dont want to install root stuff right now
i switched from iphone to and i love my note will never go back to apple. my batt life is equal to my iphone so no complaints
Do it! If you don't like it I'll happly trade you an iphone 4 32gb unlocked with ssh saved for every firmware plus an otterbox case.

No polls, just say whichever phone you are considering to move after Your Galaxy S2. I've been having mine for almost 2 years, And it's been a hell of a ride, I still think it was a good purchase, as it can move most apps with no real problem. My biggest complain is the problem with the exynos source, which has made a lot of trouble for ROM developers.
Anyway, the battery life has been a bit poor lately (in comparison to nowadays phones), and the phone overall is seriously bumped after so much traveling around. Nothing serious, but I reckon in a few months it might decide to die. So I'm considering options, and not being completely satisfied. What would you guys consider to move after this one?
-Galaxy Note 2/S4: Awesome hardware (not so good design), both replaceable battery and SD card slot, rather horrible exynos support that causes rather wonky ROMs.
-HTC One: Awesome hardware and stylish, hate the lack of menu button, horrible dev support overall. No replaceable battery, no external SD card.
-Sony Experia Z: You can friggin put this thing under water. Good hardware, awesome dev support, SD card support but no replaceable battery. And I insist, you can friggin put this thing under water.
Actually I have the s2 with a spare battery, so I bet for the s4/note 2 also the new s4 chip it's supposed to bring more balance to the battery drain

Yeah actually my S2 lost is battery in 'Nam (lost it in a crazy bus ride there), so I have two unofficial spare batteries, a Momax (Japanese) and a Pilsen (Chinese). Both performed like the official, but after a year that Pilsen is aging faster. So yeah, a note 2 is a strong candidate battery wise, but a huge put off due to Exynos ****ty previous support (in our phone and the first note).
Lol... I just bought s2 today... So I can't move....

Don't worry, it's a rather solid phone, and with a spare battery you will be able to do anything you want with it. Mine has just had too much hits everywhere, and the lid is falling off already. Everything else works mostly as expected. Just frustrated with the poor support on Samsung side for their sources on Exynos.
The Galaxy S2 has amazing hardware and still beats a lot of dual core phones even today. In terms of performance I have no complains about it but things which I dislike in my Galaxy S2 is lack of Notification LED & Mediocre Battery life. Also poor AOSP support is one of the drawbacks of the phone.
My next phone has not launched yet and It should be like Galaxy S4 ( Powerful, Beautiful screen, Removable Battery + SD Card Slot) + HTC One (looks) + Awesome AOSP Support (like the Nexus) .
I'll not be moving to another phone. Had my s2 for 18 months and when my contract is up later this year I'll be keeping it. No issue with battery, makes calls, sms and t'interweb what more couldI I want or need.

You're a lucky one....But you still had it for only a year, right? Mine is about to make two, and got it with no contract, as I hate to be tied to a single operator (or even a locked phone...I travel rather much). Case is, mine got several hits, and even some water some months ago. The screen still shows spotless, but everything else shows huge scratches, and the battery lid is barely holding together. I'll keep it for as long as it works, but I just think that won't be much more...hence the thread

My contract runs out in November, so assuming its been launched, I'll go for a Nexus 5. All my android phones have ended up with AOSP on them, so I might as well get one that has pure AOSP from the start. I originally got this because 2 years ago Samsung were the only manufacturer who left their bootloaders unlocked. Look at the faff about with the original xperia, or what HTC are doing even now. But I'm sick of no source code and having to wait many, many months for an update, so definitely Nexus for me.

I still have to find a worthy successor for my beloved galaxy SII.. ive had this phone for nearly 2 years and its by far the best phone ive ever had. Such a shame Samsung stopped making them as otherwise i would have stuck to the SII... i am debating between the S4 and the new sony xperia Z as ive read some good reviews about that one!

I moved to Galaxy Note 2 N-7100 two weeks ago, never been so happy with a new phone.
Big (gaming is Amazing), high performance (2 gig ram makes really huge difference) and nice look
waiting for s4
hoping s4 ll be as good as it looks...
Lol......by the time my contract is up for renewal, the S6 will probably be available....one thing's for sure I WON'T be getting anything with an "I" in front of it's name......lovin the android freedom.......

What do u think of Nexus 4 ? I'm thinking of moving to Nexus too so would appreciate your opinion
AW: [Q] What phone will you move on to after your Galaxy S2?
I'll keep my S2 as it performs very well and is great for customizing and repairing
I'm thinking either N7500 or Xperia Z.
Or the new Nexus. It seems like I dislike all stock firmware. I might as well get hardware that supports a free choise.
Still loving my S2, the music player is unbeatable with Sennheisers, and once you change the white balance away from Auto, the camera is brilliant.. Ive chopped and changed a lot of phones over the last year, but keep coming back to the S2, nothing beats it, even better than the One X IMO,.. seriously, but my next upgrade will be a Note 2... looks gorgeous.
