Hi, i'd like to know how to add CRT Anim in a Sense Rom, exactly the 1.9 for Desire. The framework is odexed, but i can deodex it if needed.
Thx in advance.
It's in the services.jar file. Perhaps jermaine could assist you if you'd like to pm him. Here's his thread

This solves my problem also
Thanks
hi guys, i'm using stock lite 6 at the moment ,but i want to stock sliding tabs lockscreen ,stock galaxy ace bootanimation with it's sound (i'm just obsessive anyway ) also boot takes too long on stocklite v6 (maybe for me) even not changed anything on rom.
I was wrote about lockscreen on tj_droid's thread but nobody offered any solution.
so; does anyone help me for deodexing and enabling init.d scripts without cf-root on stock 2.3.6 firmware?
thanks in advance ...

1. Long boot time is a problem of the kq8+ firmwares when used with cfroot kernels.
2. Init.d folder without a custom kernel = not possible.

You can drastically decrease boot time on stocklite V6 by removing scripts from System/etc/init.d (maybe keep a2SD if you use it).
To get stock stuff, if no one will do it for you, learn to do it yourself. It might be hard to get started, but rewarding and very useful once you get the hang of it. You'll need Systemui.apk from System/app, framework-res.apk from System/framework, 7zip or winrar, learning to use apktool (Google) and maybe checking uot kitchen to get examples on how modding works and which files to mess with.
Good luck.
thanks dude, recently i used uot for sliding tabs lockscreen but no success for it also im extracted boot.img with some tools for editing install recovery.sh (same function as init.d) script and bootanimation stuffs but i cant succeeded at all :banghead:
maybe its time of switching to ics . anyway thanks for helpful answers  .

Hi all.
I was bored this morning, so I took it upon myself to manually modify the services.jar required to make the launcher Die-Hard, HTK, or Bulletproof.
This is used in the V6 Supercharger script found HERE
Each of these includes the correctly modified values for their respective types of launchers. The V6 Supercharger will automatically patch your services.jar for Die-Hard launcher, but personally I prefer HTK or Bulletproof.
Honestly this may not help anyone, but in the case that it does I made this thread.
To install, copy the V6 Supercharger you can get from THIS THREAD (attached at the bottom, read the thread though) to the root of the sdcard. Copy the services.jar you desire to the root of the sdcard as well. Under ICS Service Centre in V6 Supercharger, use manual install. It will copy and set proper permissions.
These files have been taken from CM9 Alpha 5 by dragonzkiller, but may work on other (previous or future) builds.
It is recommended to backup your services.jar in the case that something goes wrong. I believe this is done automatically in V6 Supercharger script.
Press thanks of leave a comment if I helped.
Thanks man they helped me out

Many Thanks
It definitely made the whole process simpler. Thanks!
What are the differences between these launchers?

Devs, can anyone look into if this could be good use to our prime?
I Dont have much time to look into this, but hopefully someone capable will..
This was implanted in the WSG rom (now discontinued), from what I saw, it did help a lot, everything became smoother compared to the stock rom.
I tried v6 supercharger on my LG Optimus 2x and it made the difference. Would it be dangerous trying it on a simply rooted TFP on stock?

No, just don't set Script Manager to run it on boot until you've confirmed that it works. There's nothing to lose.

Yeah it would be nice to have this running on stocked, rooted primes untill better updates come out.
From what i understand you have to de compile service.jar and edit a file in there.
Re pack the file n replace the original service.jar with it
Then run the supercharge script.
Doesnt seem to be too complicated.
I will def be looking into this when i have the time, was just hoping someone with better knowledge can look into this sooner.

That is all you have to do. I personally use it on all of my devices. I would attach my services.jar for you but I'm not 100% sure the one on Wookie will be identical. It is a pretty painless process but if you need any assistance send me a pm.

Is it necessary that work on the service.jar? I've always run supercharger without it, simply using terminal emulator.

as the tutorial suggested (from the original dev thread), post ICS roms has the app's "priority"(for lack of better explanation) built-in to service.jar.
so unless you are running a deodex rom (which is not the case for our stock prime), you will have to re-compile service.jar in order to take full
benefit of this super charge script.
i think i will try to looking to it tonight, to see if i can get something going lol. i'm no dev by any mean.

I'll upload a modified odexed service.jar if someone provides me with one.

Not sure on the purpose of the OP .
has he even tried it on the prime?
i've been using this for a while now and it works fine.
Just try it rather than requesting Dev help.

And what can we do with that modified odexed service.jar? Replace the stock one with the modified one?

After reading more into the tutorial, i think that the script that the original supercharge dev is providing has the service.jar patching included.
Meaning we dont have to manually edit the file etc etc, just run the script and everything is automated.
But i 'm not comfortable of running the script on my prime, as mine is locked and i have no way of creating a backup incase something go south and i
Ended up with a boot loop....
So i guess if anyone has done this on their locked prime with success, please post and share, sorry for calling for devs, as i initially thought this
Would involved some modification to system files..
P.s. i'm by no mean trying to encourage anyone to run this if they are not comfortable, just that i havent seen anyone bring this up, and thought it may
Be able to give our primes a little bit more boost if confirmed that is safe and working.

Maybe you can recover from a potential bootloop could by installing the whole original firmware via the sdcard method. It could be done, right?

When i first rooted my prime i uninstalled some system apps (asus's bloatware) and, since i wasn't able to update to .21 (dead droid screen during the installation) i did a factory reset: during setup configuration, at one point, after signing in my google account, setup configuration force closed everytime, so i had to send it to Asus to fix. After i had RMAed it, somebody suggested me the update from sd trick. So i think (but i'm not 100% sure) that if that trick can work without system apps it should also work with managed system files, since it doesn't matter your system at all.

I used it only prime with the virtuous prime ROM. It made it just that much better.

Does anyone know how to decompile and recompile the framework for cm10 nightly build? I'm using Framework Toolkit by Themike *it simply cant recompile everything from original framework into new modded framework after editing the dimens.xml for osb's dpi (i assume, the modded framework (5MB+-) is significantly smaller than the original untouched framework (9MB+-), and the modded framework give bootloop). thanks
ICS apks are hard to decompile and and recompile. you got to search a lot to get a working apktool. the tool needed to for decompiling and recompiling.
moreover the apk is to be "signed". Just make sure you sign your apk.
you got to have a better understanding of xml for this. other than this i cant help. Good luck :good:
you can use mod to add OSB. it also provide modded settings.
Btw mate the system apps. Or files are not to be signed afaik and even if you sign it,you'll have to sign all system files with the same!
Isn't it?

Ghostfreak: yup, but i dun think CM team will sign all the apps they modify, are they? btw, nvm. I guess i better stick to ICS 1st, CM10 still kinda too buggy to be used on daily usages. JB source and resource for xperia are still too limited......
rajxelton: CM10 is based on JB 4.1.2, not 4.0.4 ICS (CM9) anymore of course the modding will be kinda different somehow, and CM10.1 is now 4.2.1 but under alpha release to test for development purpose. and ya, i do know those xml files under the values folder. i did made my own framework for my own use before.....
