I was hoping someone could either give me the name of an app that does this or make a simple one. I need an app that will record screen press locations and the timing between each press and repeat the action for a set number of times, or just indefinitely until the user ends the loop.
I'm willing to pay for this app if needed, as it would be extremely helpful to me in my business. Thank you ahead of time.

I have leave the project because I've not enough time. But if you want you can easy make using getevent and sendevent android commands

I started this mod because i need the stock camera with the power button as if shutter button! I'm still developing, but in few weeks (i do not have much time to do this), we will have the ace's camera with the power button as if shutter button!

Ok guy , i will leave this thread and returned when i complete the mod .
Hey guys, I intend release the first version that i made, i don't know about this first modification because when i recompile the apk and install on my ace, this does not works. WHAT HAPPENS?
PS: i just modified one ".smile" and the apk lost 1 mb, put right permissions and reboot

That smali is one hell of a problem causer.Doesn't work properly whatever we do I did the code changes needed,correct too that.But the apk wouldn't compile >.<
So did i. I did the changes but the apk don't recompile. If i convert to .jar and open within eclipse, how can i return to smali ?

With Apocalypse Final you can make power button as shutter (with default cm7 camera app). But I can't do that again when back to Democracy v2.
so maybe you can check at sources or something on Apocalypse ROM.
why people want to fry there power off button in taking pics ?? it may not be hard to implement but rather poor thing to spoil button..
dedicated button is useful to start camera faster but for taking pics its more than wasting life of that button

'Dunno man. Hm..maybe for some people it just more simple (you know..different people, different needed). So if this guy made it, it's just for people who needed it.
Maybe in the future IF it's become standard way to taking a picture on the smartphone, the default camera app can hidden the annoying right side bar options so we can enjoy the view more wider (talking about ics camera app on Ace ). Nevermind, it's just my thought

That is actually something that I have been thinking about. I find that it would be really useful, especially in landscape mode.

By searching "galaxy s3 screenshot wave hand" on Google, tons of results of how to do screenshots with motion controls are shown, your Google-Fu is weak.
As for doing that with other phones, Wave control may come in handy in conjunction with Tasker.

Anyway, if you once had that app, you should look for it harder because we don't know it. D:
Also I'm curious on how that feature you want is useful. You will end with loads of unwanted SS or don't register movements correctly. Motion sensing, IMO, it's a pretty unreliable feature, and it also drains more battery.

So guys, check out my screenshot, i was checking out system apps and i saw that force touch is here. And i am using A2017G axon 7, i think it means that there must be a way to turn force touch on on A2017G/A2017U models. Just like we modded Chinese Theme Store to A2017G/A2017U models. There should be a way to turn it on and use force touch on all models. Can you modders please check out and try to find a way to do it?

It's because the devices use the same software, but not the same force-touch screen. This feature cannot be ported, because it is hardware-related.
